Good Morning my name is Keith Turi and I'm FEMA's assistant administrator for

Recovery. I want to take a few minutes this morning to talk to you about FEMA's

Transitional Sheltering Assistance program.

FEMA's Transitional Sheltering Assistance for Texas and Puerto Rico

residents affected by last fall's hurricanes will be ending this Saturday.

The program is intended to provide emergency support to individuals and

families by providing hotel stays as a bridge to longer term housing. Over the

last 10 months, the TSA program has provided sheltering to more than 60,000

households in Puerto Rico and Texas, making it the longest emergency

sheltering mission in the history of the program. FEMA and our partner agencies

have been working closely with the families who are currently in the TSA

program to help connect them with the resources they need for longer-term more

stable housing options. These include rental assistance, home repair, money to

pay for repairs to damaged homes, FEMA direct lease of apartments and other

rental units, low-interest loans through Small Business Administration, and

transportation assistance back to Puerto Rico, so families can return home. Over

the past 10 months, 97 percent of those in the program have been able to repair

their homes or transition to other housing options. We recognize there are

still survivors that are in the program, and FEMA is committed to working today

with them and our partners at the state and local entities, and voluntary

agencies to help meet their needs. For Puerto Rico and Texas survivors today

we're giving the final notification of the ending of the TSA program. For those

in the program, we encourage you to work with your case managers to take

advantage of the resources that are provided to you. And for those of you

that may not be located in Puerto Rico, if you are interested FEMA will help

provide a flight home. Survivors can call 1-800-621-3362 to be

connected with a FEMA agent to provide assistance or referrals to state, local,

or voluntary agencies that may have resources to assist. We recognize that

this deadline will be a difficult time for some families, but know that FEMA

continues to work with our partners to provide continued help to find

longer-term housing options and to help those survivors from hurricanes Maria

and Harvey. Thank You

Last week, First Lady Melania Trump enraged liberals when she headed to the U.S. border

with Mexico by wearing a jacket that read "I really don't care, do u?"

Now, Melania has infuriated liberals once again with what she did when she returned

to the Texas border.

Right Wing News reported that Melania wore simple white slacks and a black blouse as

she visited centers where children were housed after their parents were apprehended at the

U.S.-Mexican border.

She did not announce details of her visit, once again letting the media know that she

does not care what she thinks about their opinion.

This of course enraged the liberal media, as they like to think that everyone cares

about what they have to say.

This comes after Michelle Obama once again showed how classless she is by kicking Melania

while she was down as she bashed her "I really don't care, do you?"

jacket the same day the mainstream media was freaking out about it.

"I couldn't make those kinds of [fashion] mistakes, I was outstanding," said Michelle.

Of course, Michelle made this all about race.

"Barack and I knew very early that we would be measured by a different yardstick," Michelle

said.

"Making mistakes was not an option for us.

We had to be good — no, we had to be outstanding — at everything we did.

When you're the first, you're the one that's laying the red carpet down for others

to follow."

This was a clear dig at Melania, but it didn't take long for it to come back to bite Michelle.

She obviously forgot that during her own time as First Lady, she was anything but the fashion

icon that Melania has become.

Despite what Michelle and the mainstream media say, Americans everywhere have fallen in love

with Melania!

4| Managing Permissions in the Texas Data Repository - Duration: 4:37.

This video is part of the tutorial series created for the Texas Digital Library's Texas

Data Repository and based on a similar video set created by the Odum Institute.

The Texas Data Repository is a platform for publishing and archiving datasets (and other

data products) created by faculty, staff, and students at Texas higher education institutions.

Special thanks to Texas A&M University Libraries for the use of their audiovisual suite.

This part of the series shows multiple ways to manage permissions and restrictions in

your dataverse.

I will first demonstrate how to set permissions at the dataverse level and then show restrictions

and permissions at the dataset and file levels.

If you want to set permissions within your dataverse, you would click on the Edit button

and then select Permissions.

The first type of permissions you can set up for your dataverse is defining who can

do what within the dataverse.

If you click on the Edit Access button, you will see the various options-- first you decide

who can add what to the dataverse from requiring everyone to be given access, or a "closed

dataverse", to a completely "open dataverse", in which anyone can add datasets and dataverses.

You then decide on the default role for individuals adding datasets -- either a Contributor who

can create datasets but they must be submitted for review and published by a dataverse administrator,

or a Curator who has full editing and publishing rights.

To assign specific roles to individuals or groups within your dataverse you would click

on the Users and Groups tab and click on Assign Roles to Users/Groups.

The roles you can assign to users or groups are outlined under the Roles tab, which details

the permissions each role has -- from an Administrator who can do pretty much everything to a Member

who can view unpublished dataverses and datasets and download files.

Now let's take a look at how you restrict and give permissions within a dataset.

I'm going to show this on the dataset that I created and published in the previous Publishing

Datasets video.

Within a dataset, if you want to add restrictions to files you would first select the files

you want to restrict and then click on Edit Files.

Now you can see all the ways you can edit a file from deleting the file to modifying

the file level metadata and restricting the files.

If you click on Restrict, you are prompted to add some terms of access so people know

what they need to do to gain access to these files.

You can also click the Enable Access Request button if you'd like users to be able to request

access through the dataverse.

We will enter our data use agreement and click the Enable Access Request button, and then continue.

Now you can see a lock appears beside the restricted files.

It is green if you are an admin of the dataverse, but everyone else will see a red lock.

In order for the restrictions to take place, you must publish your dataset.

To grant permissions for your dataset and files, you would go back up and click on the

Edit button and then mouse over Permissions.

At the dataset level, you can give individuals certain roles just like at the dataverse level.

If you want to give a user access to download all restricted files within a dataset, you

can give them the role of File Downloader.

To give access to individual restricted files, you would need to go back to Permissions and

select the file, then from this screen you can grant access to users and groups by adding

the user group name here and then selecting the file that you want to grant the user access

to.

Every time you create new restrictions, you have created a new version of the dataset

that also needs to be published.

Secondo quanto riferisce FoxNews, una donna è stata uccisa in un parcheggio di una 'high school' nella parte meridionale di Atlanta, mentre si teneva la cerimonia di diploma del 'Perry Learning Center'

A Texas woman has filed a $1mllion lawsuit against a local buffet restaurant, claiming that she got 'Fried Rice Syndrome' after eating at the spot

 Germaine Mobley, 62, had gone to eat at the Asian King Buffett in Waxahachie, Texas, in 2016

 Mobley had been a repeat customer at the eatery and was there with a friend for her meal at the time

 'Everything tasted fine,' she said. 'After we ate, I started not feeling well on the drive home

' The Corsicana, Texas, native said that her health quickly deteriorated when she got home

 She said: 'I just started vomiting. The next morning, I was having problems breathing, so my husband called an ambulance

' Court documents state that 'as a result of consuming the fried rice in question, Mobley ingested Bacillus cereus

'  Bacillus cereus is a bacteria that produces toxins and is common in food that has sat out at room temperature for extended periods of time

  It is commonly found in fried rice, with the Food and Drug Administration citing that as the cause of 'Fried Rice Syndrome

'Symptoms of the syndrome include cramps, vomiting and diarrhea. They tend to last for 24 hours according to the U

S. Department of Health and Human Services. Mobley, however, claims that she was in the ICU for 8 days and needed a ventilator for two of those days

She had choked on her own vomit while wearing an oxygen mask. 'Fried Rice Syndrome sounds like a joke, but it's very serious,' Mobley's attorney Kathryn Knotts asserted

'They (Asian King) didn't maintain the food at the proper temperature or kept it out for a long period of time

'The woman shared that she was unable to walk for a week and once she left the hospital, she was forced to undergo three months of rehab

 Mobley shared that she did have health complications prior to eating the rice. She added that that probably added to her condition

  'You just never dream that you would go out to eat and get that ill,' Mobley added

'Now, I would not eat rice off a buffet…anywhere.'The restaurant has denied any wrongdoing and has demanded proof

 For the woman, it's imperative that people learn about the bacteria. 'You're taking the chance at getting very ill when you're eating at a rice buffet,' Mobley said

'You could be the next person.'
