I'm Melissa, I'm the owner of Hair in Harmony and I am also a local mom of two

lovely boys. I've been a hairdresser for 27 years.

I worked on Newbury Street at a really great salon for about ten years and ended up leading their

color department. In my career, I was offered an opportunity to go and travel

the world and travel the country with a global color brand, and I also was able

to start developing an education team, and training other fellow educators as well.

I have two boys now and I really wanted to settle down but I always thought, "How

am I gonna have a salon? I don't have a clientele anymore because I'm in

different salons all the time. So I started looking and I found this little

haven here. I am looking to build a team here as well to build our future

here at Hair in Harmony, and I really can't wait to do that.

The team--the dream team that I want to have here at Hair in Harmony is a team

that always wants to learn and grow, and believes also in education. I'm a big

advocate of education and I believe anyone that joins our team it's going to

want to have that same kind of passion for being the best they can be.

Who I'm looking to join our team-- honestly it doesn't matter if you're

fresh out of school, if you left the business altogether for a number of

years and want to return, or if you have an established clientele and would like

a fresh start somewhere. As long as you're willing to learn grow and embrace

the Hair in Harmony philosophy of creating looks that are in harmony with
