Beginners Guide to Elk Calling - Chapter 7 - Common Struggles - Duration: 14:53.

I noticed a lot of similarities and you guys aren't alone these are normal

struggles so nobody just picks up a diaphragm read and just nails it on

everything when learning to call ELQ there is a learning curve there are

struggles and I definitely saw a kind of a consistant struggle across the board

with a lot of the responses that we got

hey guys Michael Batease from the Elk Calling Academy where we help you

shorten that learning curve so that you can find success faster out in the elk

woods on this channel we do elk call reviews gear reviews elk calling lessons

tips and tutorials just like this one so if you're new to the channel welcome and

please consider subscribing and click in that little bell for notifications so

that you know next time we upload a new video or we go live on Wapiti Wednesday

welcome to the next chapter in the beginner's guide to elk calling now a

couple of weeks back I made a post and said what are some of the things that

you guys are struggling with in learning how to call elk I noticed a lot of

similarities and you guys aren't alone these are normal struggles so nobody

just picks up a diaphragm Reed and just nails it on everything when learning to

call elk there is a learning curve there are struggles and I definitely saw a

kind of a consistant struggle across the board with a lot of the responses that

we got back a lot of the responses were consistency several comments about how

to chuckle knowing the rhythm when you call and also kind of a structure and

what to say in locating elk so we're gonna talk about some of those struggles

in this video right here so first off consistency so the biggest thing with

consistency and what's really gonna help with that is a couple of things one of

course obviously is practice the more you practice the more consistent you're

going to become but before that you really need to make sure that you have

the right diaphragm read selected and then you have it in the right position

in the roof of your mouth so that's key right there

most people when they grab a new read they want to throw it farther forward

and there in the roof of their mouth and that's just where they're comfortable so

because if you've never put a diaphragm reading your mouth the first time you

you're gonna have a lot of saliva and you may even get a little bit of a gag

reflex don't worry the saliva does go away after time the gag reflex also goes

away after time for most people but there still are those that still suffer

from the gag reflex now we've talked on it we've talked

about it on past episodes of Wapiti Wednesday live Q&A about the proper

position you know where to put it in the roof of your mouth because once you get

the right read meaning it's the right fit for your mouth and that's critical

so many people will just grab a read and they can start making a little bit of

sound on it and they will really try to fight and force and make that read work

but honestly I'm telling you if you find the right read that fits the roof your

mouth it becomes so much simpler and what I mean by that is you don't have a

bunch of air leaking around the diaphragm reads so you really maximize

the air that you're putting onto that diaphragm and you can control it a lot

better there are a couple of drills also that will help with consistency also now

this is going to do a couple of tooth this is going to do a couple of things

because one of the other common struggles that I heard was tongue

pressure and air pressure so this drill is going to help with consistency but

it's also going to help with that tongue pressure air pressure so there's two

different drills one is kind of geared towards cow sounds and that's a high to

low drill and basically what it is you're gonna take a diaphragm Reed

you're gonna put it in the roof of your mouth and you're going to put max tongue

pressure and max air pressure we're using our diaphragm for that air

pressure we're tightening our stomach muscles and we're typing tightening our

rib muscles onto that diaphragm to force more air pressure up but we're gonna

start with that high note and then we're slowly going to relax the tongue

pressure and the air pressure so it's a steady fall all the way down and it

should sound something like this

now if the first time you try that if it's kind of choppy don't worry about it

everybody comes across that but as you practice that and you do that drill over

and over and over again you're gonna find that that consistency just comes

right now it's nice and gradual now while you're doing this drill and you

start to get that consistency to where you have that just gradual fall pay

attention to how much air pressure and how much tongue pressure combo that

you're doing on each of those notes because that's going to help you when

you get into cow sounds and you want to kind of mix up your sound you want to

mix those different pitches you know the tongue and air pressure

needed to get those so the height of low is kind of geared more towards the cow

sounds now what about bugling and bull sounds you bet there's a drill for that

one too this one is going to be opposite though because we're gonna start low and

we're gonna work high but on this one we're not gonna have that gradual climb

we're actually going to stair step it and force ourself to hold each of those

notes and it should sound something like this

now with each of those stair steps I'm increasing my tongue pressure just a

little bit but I'm also really pressing on that diaphragm to force more air out

to kind of let that air drive that read a little bit too now the cool thing

about this one is you want to pay attention to your tongue pressure and

air pressure combo for each of those notes so think of it as a house where

you start in the basement then you go first floor second floor third floor and

then attic the reason that's critical is because once you get out there and you

start mimicking bulls or you want to do different sounds you know exactly how

much what the pressure combo is so say you want to do a simple location bugle

first floor second floor third floor you

automatically know without thinking about it what the pressure combo is to

hit each of those notes now like I said the critical thing with both of these

drills is going to help with that consistency and help with that telling

an air pressure but it's also going to help you with making sure that you have

the right read because you have to have the right read in the right place to

have the proper air seal to be able to control the notes on both those drills

now the cool thing about these drills is this is something that you can do in

your car while you're driving you don't need a grunt tube for it you don't

really need anything for it other than just a diaphragm read now you know if

you played sports growing up you always knew that you went to fundamentals pro

athletes do the same thing how many pro baseball players do you see

that will go into a cage and grab that tee and do that fundamental work over

and over and over the house ins of times same thing without calling you have

these fundamental drills that you need to do I still do these drills on a

regular basis just to keep sharp on them and to help with that control aspect now

one of the other things was knowing what to say that's one of the things that we

really cover in our private one-on-one lessons with our students at elk calling

Academy is the different vocalizations the cow vocalizations bull vocalizations

what they mean how to do them and when during the year that you can use those

but here's one common mistake that I see a lot of people make and that's the

location bugle a location bugle is nice and relaxed there's no emotion in it

it's basically just saying hey where is everybody yeah the mistake that I see a

lot of people make is they don't pace that they don't hit those three notes

they'll go from their first note to a skyrocket note and think that they're

doing a location bugle that second bugle is more of a challenge bugle it has

aggression because it rises really sharp and gets to the max high note so tip for

you when you're doing your location bugles just stay nice and relaxed and

controlled I know it's hard sometimes when the

emotion and the excitement you've got a bull going it's easy to do but you

remember most of the time when you're doing location bugles you're still

trying to locate elk so there's not a lot of emotion come to play in that all

right one of the other common struggles was chuckles I can certainly understand

this because chuckling is one of those things that really really takes a lot to

learn how to do I did a video earlier a few months back on how to chuckle and

I'll post it at the end of this video if you want to go back and watch that but

here's some kind of some pointers of that video with the Chuckle there's

actually three parts there's the note your voice and then breathing in so

when you add a diaphragm tube into it so when you're first learning out or first

learning to chuckle do each of those three parts individually so again it's

breaking it down to fundamentals now once you have all three of those parts

now you can add the first two parts together and then once you have those

two parts consistent then add all three parts in notice I'm doing it slow and

controlled making sure all of those parts now once you have all of those

parts in there then you can start playing with cadence and speeding it up

a little bit

chuckling is one of those things that you need to get the fundamentals in the

basics down and make sure you have all of the parts before you start with

rhythm and trying to speed it up too many people want to just jump right into

it and start chuckling fast and they miss parts they miss components if you

really listen to bull's chuckle they have all of those components and if

you've ever had a bull close to you and bugling you can feel that thump you can

feel that chuckle that's what I think really adds realism into your calling

chuckles are one of the things that when you're out there if you're trying to

figure out if it's a person or a bull the chuckles usually are dead

away the other dead giveaway is the bass on the bugle so well typically have a

chest and lungs that are twice the size of ours so us trying to mimic that but

chuckling is usually a dead giveaway again you need to break it down into

fundamentals learn the fundamentals first so it's just like when we came

into this world we had to learn to crawl before we could learn to walk and then

eventually run same thing here break it down learn the fundamentals

learn to crawl then once you've learned to crawl and you have all three of those

pieces individually then start putting them together walk once you have that

down on a consistent basis then you can run from that point on you can adjust

your cadence to whatever mindset that you're wanting to portray and your

calling now I know there's a lot of more struggles out there that people are

dealing with but these were the majority of the responses that I got from people

if you really are still struggling you want to learn more get a hold of us send

us an email we'd be more than happy to set up a one-on-one lesson with you and

work individually with you to help you'll be amazed how it could just be a

slight adjustment of where that Reed is in the roof of your mouth or slight air

pressure that can make all the difference in the world

as always guys thanks for tuning in we really appreciate your support as always

Pipsqueaks Matchup Guide: Fox Versus Falco - Duration: 24:12.

Hello and welcome to my guide on Fox versus Falco.

its the most popular matchup in melee.

But many foxes struggle in it and it's not uncommon for them to hate the matchup

I think that's because they don't understand it.

and it's unfortunate so i made this video to teach people all the basics required to succeed,

hopefully you can adapt them to your own understanding of the game and add things

I don't mention that work for you.

With that said let us start with the neutral game.

Even though it's what many consider "the" matchup in melee it plays very differently

from fox's other matchups

Fox has two big advantages over falco.

He has a faster movement speed and a two frame faster jumpsquat.

those are some pretty big advantages.

they usually mean he can dashdance camp and force the opponent to approach him but Falco

has the best projectile in the game to really limit that playstyle instead you're often

forced to approach him.

Falco's Laser is the strongest zoning projectile in the game since it has no lag, minimal startup,

and everytime it hits fox, he takes 12 frames of hitstun, a fifth of a second stuck in lag,

this limits what fox should do in response to threaten falco and lets falco control neutral

since fox often has to play reactively.

This forces the fox player to learn laser specific counterplay to even have a chance

against a good falco.

Falco is pretty good at shutting down dash dance camping but he still has a hard time

with the other aspect of fox's superior speed.

His 3 frame jump squat,

A quicker jump squat is a huge advantage, fox's aerials come out 2 frames faster and

he can more reliably escape pressure with a faster shine out of shield

This in combination with his faster groundspeed makes him much better in close range since

he can approach safer and abuse his quicker speed to make it hard for falco to catch him

afterwards.

as soon as fox gets close enough to falco that the laser becomes too risky, he has a

big advantage.

But how does fox close the distance?

Well, while most universal tools work great vs falco, the fact that laser will often be

in the way means that reliably getting close requires a good understanding of what options

fox has versus laser and what beats falco's common follow up moves.

The laser has 13 frames of startup, adding the jumpsquat frames means that the earliest

short hop laser comes out on frame 18.

That's a ton of lag you can punish, but not quite enough to react to, so if you read

it, often, you will find yourself close enough to interrupt it before it comes out with dash

attack, running shine or sometimes even upsmash.

But if you've been hit by a laser already it's not that easy because laser has 12

frames of hitstun.

This is a really long time because he can land the same frame the laser connect with

you.

And landing has 4 frames of lag making him +8 or more commonly +7 if the laser is staled,

guaranteeing him a follow up if close and giving him fairly significant frame-advantage

if further away.

We obviously want to avoid this, but how?

A common form of counterplay is to full jump above the lasers, Fulljump is really good

because you can wall him out very effectively if he tries to approach or you can approach

with it and falco often has to read the timing to deal with it and will get hit if he mindlessly

shoots another laser.

However, fox players often rely too much on this and become predictable,

While good, fulljump doesn't solve the problem because you lose options when airborn so if

you're predictable and falco knows that you will jump he has an advantage and can

focus on beating the descending aerial by clipping it with a laser, uptilting it or

whiff punishing it.

So you need more mixups.

You can shield it lowering the amount of stun you're in from 12 frames to 7 making it

much less powerful, he's at the very best +3 now instead of +8 making is much less scary

since you can avoid everything except a pointblank instant shine.

Shield somewhat limits your options but opens up the possibility of a power shield which

reflects the projectile and gives you the advantage instead, this is a huge threat because

if you're close you can often get a free hit afterwards.

It's almost always worth going for but difficult to get consistently and training your consistency

is really important so load up unclepunch's training pack and start training.

Consider trigger tricking since it makes it easier.

It's so worth it

On the other hand, if you don't shield and get hit by a laser you can often dash before

falco can hit you letting you uptilt, aerial or dashdance grab if he tries approaching

afterwards.

Also, if you guess that he'll do another laser or simply not attack you it's often

really good to dash into him after the stun because you can interrupt his next laser or

just gain stage positioning for free.

Lets talk about uptilting after the laser stun.

Uptilt is a really good move against falco since you can often beat out his approaches

and if you guess wrong and miss it's incredibly hard to punish because of the low end lag.

it has a super high reward if it hits, converting into every move in your kit at most percentages.

And in general it should be one of your most used moves in the matchup since it's got

some of the best risk vs reward in your kit and it trades or wins vs most of falco's

kit.

if you try to powershield you're more limited, you can still move forwards and backwards

but it requires a wavedash, which is both slower and a 13 frame commitment but because

of how rewarding a powershield is Leffen opts to go for them almost every time.

Okay, im not going to lie to you.

There is no cheap way to invalidate lasers.

The key to beating lasers is very simple.

it's observing the falco's habits and choosing from your handful of options to beat

the follow up actions you predict they will do.

There isn't anything else to it but most fox players only use one or two of these options

making it way too easy for falco to bait those responses and punish them.

So make sure to keep a close eye on what your opponent likes to do after each laser and

how close he tends to laser you.

You'll be surprised to see just how often the falco's do bad lasers in neutral and

implementing approaching after the laser stun will make it much easier to punish them for

it.

So with that in mind what happens when you have managed to get close?

Well, Falco can do a retreating laser to continue the zoning game but that generally isn't

very good because center stage is a large advantage and giving it up basically for free

is bad.

It doesn't present a threat by itself but even then it's still not an uncommon option.

It's important that you don't get impatient if the falco runs away a lot because there's

only so much stage to work with and eventually they will have to either go through you or

above you so be patient and attack when they don't have any space to work with.

In close ranges Fox can play really safely and bait out a commitment from falco and whiffpunish

it.

this is made easier because you're faster so dashdancing a small distance away from

them looking to grab a bad move is really powerful but If you're late falco gets a

shine so it's important to not missjudge your timing window.

You can also try to just attack falco with aerials and since falco is slower than you

he can't dashdance whiff punish, his options are to put out a hitbox before you and beat

out your approach which of course isn't very good if he missreads your timing or he

can shield, roll and spotdodge all of which pose zero threat and can be called out.

Hitting his shield results in a pressure sequence.

which is a very powerful position for fox, especially if you space yourself a little

bit away from them so that they can't shine you out of shield.

Sometimes they try to ASDI down or CC your approach but with all the tools at your disposal

it's not that good.

Spaced aerials, downair, shine and grab all beat it and uptilt starts beating ASDI-down

really early at 13% and CC at 38% so Crouch canceling is not very good versus fox if you

play around it intelligently.

if you happen to make a missjudgement and miss-space a move or get your timing read

by falco he can and often will aerial, uptilt or shine you. and he usually gets between

40% and a stock from them so It's important to play with precision to not give them any

easy shines, a lot of the time their opportunities come from your mistakes.

Remember to train your execution because falco really preys on your mistakes and this is

a large reason for why so many lower level players have a hard time in the matchup.

Let's move on to some different neutral situations.

You should know that Fox is incredibly strong on the side platforms as it severely limits

the tools falco has to interact with you.

His laser doesn't reach and the only aerial that poses a threat to a shielding fox is

upair, unless you're on yoshis story in which case shorthop backair is also pretty

threatening.

Falco often has to fulljump to really scare you and if he doesn't hit you he forfeits

the positional advantage he had meaning you can drop down and take center stage for free.

He does have the option to shine you and then waveland but even that isn't very good because

if you shield it you have a large window to escape or shield drop aerial him.

Overall a very solid position to be in but keep in mind that there is rarely any pressure

to interact with an opponent on a platform and he can always opt to just take center

stage and let you down mostly uncontested.

If you're at high percentages playing on platforms is usually a really good way to

live that little bit longer and find the positional advantage and extend the time you can find

an opening.

And openings are really, really good vs falco.

The reason fox has a disgusting punishgame on falco is because of his extremely powerful

grab, uptilt and upsmash and how every other move in his kit converts into one of those

three or into a knockdown.

You can techchase many of the knockdowns you get which when successful, always leads into

a huge combo regardless of stage.

If you want to improve your punishgame vs falco then the two most important things you

can learn is to maximise the reward from a grab and to learn how to techchase from every

hit whenever possible, even with only a 30% success rate this will greatly increase the

reward of many of your moves letting you be less predictable and still find massive damage

With that said, how do you maximise the reward from grab?

Well on FD it's fairly simple, however there doesn't seem to exist a falco chaingrab

flowchart, atleast, i couldn't find one.

So I use the newest updated fox ditto flowchart by Tails.

You can chaingrab falco to higher percents than fox so this flowchart works perfectly

fine.

Link in the description.

It's all about grinding it so try to perfect it as it makes FD a much better stage in the

matchup.

On regular platform stages it's harder and more complicated.

Getting the punish from upthrow frequently requires a platform techchase.

This techcase is difficult but thankfully Setchi made a great video on the topic detailing

the optimal way to do this, it's pretty long but well worth the watch.

It dispels some common misconceptions and details what options are best at different

percent ranges.

There's also KJH's tutorial on the subject which goes over the traditional flowchart

and how leffen and armada techchase differently and how the 50/50 works at low %. I recommend

yo watch both because they cover different things and I won't spend time explaining

them here because spending 20 minutes on the topic here seems slightly redundant when such

good resources already exist.

If you hit the platform techchase chances are good that they'll DI to the top platform,

and I think it's important to mention that when this happens it's very easy to be too

quick with the upair on misstech and tech in place.

Many foxes don't delay this properly and miss the tech in place or get hit by getupattack

because of it.

so make sure to time it properly.

I personally used to miss it all the time which is why I think it's important to mention

it.

So that's the grab part done.

Learning to maximise your reward from grab makes it an incredibly potent tool in neutral

for a number of reasons, It beats shield and CC, has relatively low ending lag and has

among the best punish flowcharts attached to it in the game.

I'll make a full video on the topic eventually but that's for another day.

it's safe to say that there's a reason so many foxes devolve into just looking for

that grab.

The next thing I want to cover is tech-chasing.

This is a general protip for most matchups but converting your hits into techchases is

a very important skill to learn because it makes more moves good combo starters

I recommend you start learning this with Neutral air, in this matchup it starts to knockdown

at 36% and higher.

You then react to their di. on DI in they'll become airborn and you can get a follow up

immediately but if they DI out you have to dash to their landing spot and techchase from

there

The techchase feels overwhelming at first but it helps to think about it like a simple

logic tree.

It's not one reaction but multiple ones in a sequence.

First you react to if they hit the tech or not, if they do you then react to if it's

tech in place, then you react to which way they roll. if they miss the tech and you're

below 90% you instead crouch right next to them and react to if they regular getup or

getup attack first then you cover the rolls.

The crouch techchase is harder because you have to learn how to dash out of the crouch

to cover the rolls which is a very hard input.

Spend time practicing it because, otherwise you have to read their tech option because

you can't reliably get a reaction punish if they miss tech and roll.

Uncle Punch's training pack is perfect for training this and I have improved my own consistency

a lot from just mindlessly grinding it until it's firmly in my muscle memory.

While we're on the topic.

Let's talk about techchasing from shine.

Shine knocks falco down but it's never possible to cover every option on reaction he can simply

tech too quickly.

Because of this it's not possible to react to immediate tech in place or roll away and

cover them, however it's a very good idea to react to tech roll in and miss tech on

the shine, especially from a defensive shine out of shield.

But If they always tech away or inplace I tend to read one of them instead

Now, the last thing I want to cover is edgeguarding.

Edgeguarding falco is either really difficult or really easy depending on if he's above

ledge or below ledge.

Above ledge he has access to one of the best recovery tools in the game, his side B but

below ledge he instead only has up B and is in most cases easy to edgeguard.

Side B is so quick that reacting to it and putting out a hitbox is impossible, or at

least unreliable.

So the two ways commonly used to cover it is to either position yourself slightly above

falco's height in advance and then cover it with a preemptive backair, or to punish

it's landing lag.

To cover him going to ledge you have to read him going for it and take ledge before him

if he sweetspots, or have him far enough down that you know his jump only reaches the edge

leaving him that single option, if he goes for up b instead, chances are you can cover

everything with a well timed rising backair or jump out and shine it.

If he's hit below the stage without a jump you can often jump out to shine him killing

him instantly or take ledge and hit him with a backair, if he's at low % this either

puts him far enough away where you just have to hold ledge

or close enough where you can drop down and shine him.

However, if you get a soft hit and he managed to go really high with his up b then there's

a chance that he can instead do an instant side b and get back.

With a good grasp on how to beat his lasers, which hits to search for and how to kill him

as well as an understanding of how you can abuse your speed advantage I think it's

time to touch upon a general gameplan at different percent.

When you and falco are at low % 0-30ish the things to look for offensively are shine,

down air and grab.

While your defensive focus should be on looking for dashdance grab and stuffing him with fulljump

and shorthop backair because it rarely trades and mostly beats his moves outright, which

is important because I find that he's usually better in the trades when he's at low %

The second % range is when he's at 30-70% where uptilt is king, spamming uptilt at these

% is busted for all the reasons mentioned earlier so make sure to abuse it.

I find that trades are mostly fine in this range because he usually can't get a followup

from them or get in a position to threaten you in time.

Nair spam is also very potent here if you're aware of the crouchcancel possibility.

At higher % 70-120 you really just want to hit him, and if you're also at those percentages

you need to know that trades kinda suck here because there's a good chance you'll end

up offstage after one, and he gets back quicker which means he often gets center for free.

I find that backair is really good here because it's your only real way of not trading.

My goal is usually to try and make him play the laser mixup game in an attempt to stuff

repeated lasers which usually leads into a kill.

If the falco is really walling like they tend to be at high % fulljump aerialing into them

tends to be your best bet, I try to fulljump bair through them to really guarantee I avoid

their hitboxes,

Practice the timing of doing a fulljump aerial through a side platform because otherwise

your fulljump ranges are going to be fairly predictable on platform stages

With all of that said, there's some extra stuff

I want to talk about before the end of this video.

lets break down different defensive techniques fox has vs falcos stuff.

First of all, down air isn't actually one of falco's high reward moves, because you

have so much counterplay to it.

It can be shined out of before the followup at 0-5%,

at 5-34% you can sdi it to avoid a shine or an uptilt and if you were airborn when hit

you can always shine him before he's actionable and sometimes you even have time to grab him,

at 35-91% it can be teched and he gets nothing.

Because of that I don't think it's actually that reliable of a move as you can escape

it at most %'s in some way.

The second really important defensive technique is how to DI shine.

Which is pretty simple.

The way you're sent is determined by which side of the shine you are

and you want to DI full away to escape his combos, until he can end it with a down air

offstage, then you want to hold full in on the shine instead.

PewPewU has a video on this, link in description.

I also want to touch upon what happens when you're grabbed, Falco's grab is really

bad.

you can SDI up on both his upthrow and his backthrow and escape any combo he normally

gets, meaning that there's no mixup.

So always try to sdi up once or twice during the throw, 20xx is really good for this.

Be aware that There isn't really an easy way to escape a forward throw at the ledge,

so you still have to avoid being grabbed in the corner.

And last, falco loves to space autocancel backairs and uptilts when lasers don't work

versus you.

It's important to know that you can often get a free punish on it if you dash and then

crouch right before you reach them.

because you're crouching meaning you go under the strong hit and only tank the weakhit

of backair

Running upsmash is also a really good option because of this since it often trades with

the soft hit making it a really good move to call out both falco's ac bair and laser.

I haven't covered which stages to pick and ban in the matchup.

But that's because it's such a subjective topic but if you want my opinion, which if

you've watched all twenty minutes of this video i am fairly sure you do.

Then the best stage is Yoshis Story, the second best is Final Destination and the third best

is Dream Land all for different reasons.

Yoshis is really small so you can constantly be up close and he can't really wall you

out in any significant way plus your advantaged state is really good on stage.

Final destination just has the touch of death aspect and simpler neutral since you just

want to somehow convert into a grab slash techchase

Dreamland has inconvenient platforms for falco that break up combos and the size lets you

survive longer than him, though the stage length I think is actually a detriment but

with that said, those are just my opinions, I've talked to other players who don't

agree with me so don't take these picks as gospel, they're just my personal favourite,

and with that.

you

Hey welcome back to another video Heather and I spent the morning

finishing up some stain while actually doing tomorrow staining we're not

finished with that project yet and we have a really cool opportunity this

afternoon to go on a management hunt for a seka hind so Taylor and I are gonna

have some crossbows and we're gonna both see if we can shoot a/c Kehinde yeah

I'll Kim mode out ready to go I got a grab Taylor a camo hat and then my wife

has turned into quite the hunter ID hunter I almost forgot my knife which I

haven't used in a while but I put it in our truck just in case we were to go

hunting if anything it will be Taylor and I hanging out in a tree stand

together which will be fun hey Wes so in your words how would you describe a seka

high Marsh goat a Marx coat yep what is a Sika Sika is an asian elk

did they come from Asia they did originally they were brought over in

like the 30s or 40s I believe nine of them were originally

brought over and then they were released on an island and they were able to swim

and the island was in the Chesapeake here

and they swam across then they're in three counties 10-point wicked Ridge is

what we got here I'm gonna give you a crossbow a cocking device in the frame

go all the way down make sure your toes in kind of a 45 and you want to make

sure these hooks are tight to the rail you don't want one floating out here and

then as you pull up you want to pull up parallel or even just a hair back from

the rail you don't want to be pulling out see how I'm pulling the string off

of it it'll go over top of this and it doesn't top so nice and easy just stand

up click you want lower third right behind the shoulder and preferably

quartering away so I'm clear my fingers are underneath the wings lower third

start from the top and work your way down switch with the hooks get the frame

and I like to use my my middle fingers those are the longest and kind of push

them in tight and then then get a little tension that way you don't have a little

bit like if this is over what it does is it kind of torch the bow a little bit as

the string comes that doesn't come back quite as easy is that one good oh it's

awesome

well alright now back down and here's something else that I see it pops off

just remember parallel if anything go back just a hair and then just stand up

and slide your fingers today about three inches from the tip of that bolt that it

yep without grabbing the pitch perfect and then that's going to make it so your

fingers never go more points of contact you can get better right go to the side

okay so it's not jabbing in the guts

and straighten your belt just a little bit there you go and then yep

stand up and then almost there hair more there you go

yep hold on it's stuck along the thing hold on one second just stay right there

all right do it again big fool there you go nice perfect yep

just one make sure it's nice and and reaching that groove instead of trying

because there will be razor blades on that I'm not saying that you're gonna

grab the razor blade but something to get it so your own safe

it'll be away for fire yeah you look that looks fun I had to pull this I'll

block whatever you're comfortable doing if you can get both elbows onto your

knees that's awesome the whole like when you look through the scope and it's if

there's black in it it might be because you're too close to the scope you want

to back up back your face up just a little bit nice it's a little bit

forward but it's not bad and your center mass I'd actually for both you guys

would like like you to be lower third so when you split that one more time where

that's at so let's split that in half and that's pump station either a

perfectly broadside shot which is you know when you're standing like it is

kind of overshooting for quartering away with its rear end a little bit towards

you

JoJo's All Star Battle: ASB 101 - Beginners Quick Guide - Duration: 7:18.

Welcome to All Star Battle 101. Here is your video guide on helpful basics.

Which should help answer many questions for players just starting to play.

The objective is very simple defeat your opponent with any tactics from options

at your disposal before the time provided expires.

What this means is your opponents life bar must reach zero or be less than yours

before the round timer countdown finishes.

Whoever has the most life remaining at the end will win the round.

If you win enough rounds you win the match.

The combos are preformed through chains known as chain combos.

They are a string of normal attacks canceled into each other into a quick succession to

form a combo weak attacks only combo into heavier attacks. Additionally you

can combo specials and Heart Heat attacks Great Heat attacks can be

canceled off of any normal attack. Great Heat attacks not chain off special attacks.

At the top of your character side of the screen you will see two bars one is the Health,

The second is the Guard Gauge. Health reaching zero means the character

was defeated. If the guard age reaches zero your character will be vulnerable

for a short period of time where you cannot do anything.

There are a few options for defending some Universal while others character specific.

Starting with blocking all characters have the ability to block holding the opposite

direction to your opponent as they attack will prevent you from receiving the full damage.

Attack types to be aware of are Low, Mid, and High.

To Block Low you must hold down and back on the directional pad. Jumping attacks require

a standing block as these are considered Mid attacks the same goes for overheads.

Some moves will cause what is known as chip damage.

this is a common term used for while blocking the main damage from attacks

your character still suffers some loss of life.

One thing different in All-Star Battle then a majority of other fighting games,

is you cannot be K.O.'d from too much chip damage. The opponent must lands successful hit for the

finishing blow to take the round or win the match. Certain moves are unblockable.

for example blocking grabs does not work. As well certain moves of the cast have

unblockable properties Okuyasu has many unblockable attacks

as well DIO, Lisa Lisa, and Valentine have unblockable attacks to name a few.

at times bluffing may not be the choice you need additionally there are some

methods for avoiding and countering an attack. One of the best defensive tools

across all characters is the stylish dodge mechanic. When a block is first

time correctly your character will avoid the attack and grant a brief opportunity

for responding before they can finish. Performing the correct block reduces the

amount of guard gauge used in order to dodge approximately 30 to 40 percent

will be consumed each stylish dodge. The final defense of options all tie together

with the game's XY and Z axis. You can Dash forward, Hop Back, Jump Up, Crouch.

All using the directional pad. Dodge left and right with the Rotate Button .

Characters with projectile attacks can be sometimes jumped over, crouched under, or dodge left

and right to a be avoided. You can also quick rise by timing the Rotate Button

as you get hit down to the ground this helps avoid being put in "Oki" situations.

The bar at the bottom of your character's screen with the Heart and Number inside,

is the Heart Heat Gauge. Gaining the bar meter is done by

successfully landing attacks on your opponent in addition to taking

damage and during blocking. This bar allows your character to use various

special attacks cancel attacks and perform HHA and GHA moves.

All characters for the cost of one bar can reset back to a neutral position

mechanically known as Puttsun Cancel "PC" for short.

Pressing Light, Medium and Heavy simultaneously will perform a Puttsun Cancel

However this does not work on some special attacks or aerial attacks

neither HHA or GHA can be canceled with Puttsun Cancel as well.

Stand users are able to spend 50% of the Heart Heat bar to

quickly summoners stand on in the middle of attacking, as well spend 25% to

Stand Rush to remove the stand. Some characters have additional gauges at the bottom

of the screen which only apply to them, and very character to character.

Resolve and Rumble modes are comeback mechanics shared across the characters.

Each character is locked into the mode they have and these cannot be changed.

Rumble mode activates automatically when the characters Health reaches below 30%.

It will flash red to acknowledge the change. Attach Damage increases by 10%

Heart Heat builds 10% faster and damage is reduced by 20%

Resolve mode is only available to Giorno, Mista, Bruno Fugo and Hermes. The mode automatically

activates when their Health reaches below 20% it will flash Gold to acknowledge the change.

Attack power is increased by 20% the character gain super armor while attacking.

The rate of Heart Heat gained while being hit increases by 50% as well Damage is reduced by 20%

Taunting is a unique system an All-Star Battle. When an opponent is knocked down if you

successfully taunt at the right moment you will get a zoomed-in taunt and it will

reduce their Heart Heat Gauge by 10% Once per round as you taunt it

will re-stand the opponent and you can connect a projectile allowing for a taunt combo.

When certain moves connect they can cancel out one another.

Some specials colliding will trigger rush mode. Each player will want to mash

square as much as they can in order to progress the bar over to your opponents side.

Whoever wins will hit their opponent dealing 50 damage and sending the opponent

flying across the screen. All-Star Battle has a number of game modes from

arcade to versus, campaign, story. Story you will progress through each Arc unlocking

characters as you go. Your goal of campaign will be defeat bosses to unlock

colors and costumes. Arcade is just a number of matches versus the cast.

Practice is where you can go to train, and set a training dummy to do certain things it is quite limited.

To optimize your online experience you're going to

want to play DIO Part 3 Mansion or the Part 4 Kira House stage. The reason

these stages are chosen is the framerate is more stable

the recommended connection is using an Ethernet cable or wire.

There are a number of mechanics not covered in this video which are very character specific

so depending on who you are interested in playing you're going to want to look

into them further. I hope the breakdown of all the

mechanics has been very helpful to everyone just getting into the game

looking for an understanding of what each of them does.

VILLA JOVITA: BALI OF BATANGAS DIY TRAVEL GUIDE [ENG SUB] - Duration: 16:18.

If you are new in our channel

my name is Rina

and I'm Rhon

of RR26 Adventures

In our previous videos,

we often do vlogs related to events

but for today

we'll do a travel vlog

Right now, we're here at Villa Jovita

to celebrate my birthday

Yes! Today is my birthday in case you don't know.

Happy birthday My Love

Villa Jovita

is located

at Agoncillo, Batangas.

We're here to show you what this place has to offer

especially now that it's becoming more popular

because of their Bali inspired set up that makes people call it as "Bali of Batangas"

So later on, we'll tour you around the resort.

Come and join us!

If you also want to know

their entrance fee and rates

and how to get here

please keep on watching

Upon entering Villa Jovita

this is what you'll see

in your left side, you'll see some tents

that you can rent for 1,200 PHP only

and in your right side

you'll see the information area

where you could inquire

if ever you have inquiries

and pay for the entrance fee & cottages.

If you're planning

to celebrate your birthday here

at Villa Jovita

you can get 50% discount

upon presenting your PSA

formerly known as NSO

and a valid ID

Aside from that

senior citizen and PWDs

can also avail of discounts in the entrance fee

This is the proof

that we paid the "all access"

This is their rate during weekdays

If you'll go to Bali corner

and swim in the riverside

you need to pay 250

There is an additional fee of 50 PHP

if you'll swim in the upper pool.

Their rate is also different if it's weekend.

If you'll only avail of Bali corner

you need to pay 250

Riverside pool - 100

All pools - 150

All Access - 400

Please take note also

that cottages are rented separately

but if you're planning to go here for a day tour,

you may leave some of your things

(those which are not that important)

in the information area

so you could save money from renting a cottage

When you go straight ahead

in those colorful tents

you'll see the way

to the upper pool

Upon entering the gate

turn right

and there you'll see the upper pool.

Upper pool is divided into two

One for the kids

and the other one is for the adults

What's nice about this pool

is it is non-chlorinated

or they did not put any chlorine on it

When you turn right

if you'll go straight ahead in this area

in your right side

you'll see a cafeteria

where you could buy food

or have your meal.

If you're looking for a Lomi

don't worry

because they also have it here

Beside the cafeteria

is the comfort room

When you turn left

you'll see the cottages

that you can rent

The small gate that you're seeing in the video

that's the entrance

to the Bali corner

The first spot here in the Bali corner

the first spot that that you'll see in your right side

is this Bali swing

Then, this is the waiting area

so if you'll go here

make sure to arrive early

to avoid the long queue especially if it's weekend

If you're wondering

if this place is instagram worthy,

for us

it is super instagram worthy!

In fact,

we highly recommend this place

to those who are looking for a venue

for their prenup photoshoot.

In your right side

that's where you'll see the Bali nest

I'm nervous

Please do not push to hard

Since we got tired

with the activities that we did earlier

we decided to eat first.

Since we're already here in Batangas

we don't want this opportunity to pass

without eating Lomi

We bought it in the cafeteria of the resort

for only 75 PHP

Now that we're full again, let's continue our tour

inside the resort

From the cafeteria where we have eaten Lomi,

you'll see stairs.

When you go down and you turn right,

you'll see some umbrellas

that you can rent for 300 PHP

and that's good for 3-4 persons already.

The nipa huts that you're seeing right now on the screen

can be rented for 800 PHP

good for 10-12 persons

If you're on a tight budget and you don't want to spend that much in the nipa huts

that we've shown you earlier

don't worry

because there are still other cottages here

that you can rent for 500-600 PHP only.

The rent in the cottages with white roof is 500

while 600 on the cottages with red roof.

One of the activities

that you could also try here

is fishing

If you're fond of fishing

go and bring your fishing gear

and we're sure that you'll enjoy this place so much

They call this as the riverside pool.

Same with upper pool,

there is also a separate pool here for kids

and also for adults.

If you'll go straight ahead in that area

you'll see some nipa huts

that you could rent for 3,000 PHP

if you're planning for overnight.

If you also want to experience the 'Bali of Batangas"

here are some of our tips.

First, if you'll be coming from your places

make sure to leave your house early

to avoid the rush hour and traffic.

Their operating hours starts

from 8AM until 6PM for day tour

and if you're planning to stay here

for overnight

you may reserve your cottage online

through their FB Page

They only answer inquiries from 8AM to 5PM only

We'll just put the link

of their FB Page

in the description box

and comment section

Second tip,

we highly suggest

that you use your own car

when you go here

or hire a private vehicle

Based on what we have experienced

even if we left Manila early

we still arrived here at noon

because we had a difficulty

in looking for a jeepney

that we can ride going here.

Once you're at the Xentro Mall already

you have to take a jeepney or tricycle

going to Agoncillo.

but it would not really reach

the municipality of Agoncillo

It is located not too far from Xentro mall.

Just tell the driver

to drop you off at Villa Jovita

They know that already.

Another reason

why we're suggesting

that you bring your own car

it's hard to commute.

If you really don't have any choice

because you don't have a car to use

it's better to take a jeepney

than tricycle

because the fare is much cheaper

than a tricycle.

If you've chosen jeepney

you only need to pay 10 PHP per head

while 70 PHP per ride if it's tricycle

even if it's not that far

from the Xentro Mall to Villa Jovita

Third

if you don't want to spend that much,

you can bring your own food

without paying for any corkage

In that way, you could save money

and also

inside the resort,

there are only few convenient stores

where you could buy food

That's why

you really have to bring your own food.

Lastly

Watch out

for our

next adventure!

Just to give you a clue

It is still part of Batangas

That place is also nice.

Oh, not only nice but it's beautiful

So, watch out for that!

There you go guys.

Maybe

we'll just end the vlog here

Apologies

if there's still no shoutout in this vlog

That's because we forgot the list in Manila

but don't worry

because we'll really make it up to you next time.

We have to end the vlog now

because it'll get dark already later

and you wouldn't be able to see us clearly.

It's too dark to vlog.

That's it!

We're hoping that you enjoyed watching this video.

Comparing 5 Pen & Pencil Shapes For Drawing (Guide) - Duration: 12:50.

So are the benefits of having a round pen and pencil versus a hexagon or tripod shaped pen and pencil

let's talk about that

So a round pen and pencil here

the benefit of having a round pen or pencil is that you don't have to worry about

the issue of

The size of your fingers getting so we're getting indentations

Onto your hand because when you're drawing

this is mainly beneficial if you're drawing with a ballpoint pen or say a

Pencil will should be better to have

A rounded shape or have a hexagonal shape that has the edges of it rounded off some

So what I mean is is you have there's actually a total of five different shapes that you have so you've got one which is

the

Round

And then number two

which is the

Hexagon shape

Number three

Is the same as that

But it has its side is the word instead of a side this sharp point

such as this

What you're going to have is that the corner there is going to be rounded off

So instead of that shape it's going to be rounded off

That's um so what you get is

More of a rounded angled edge so that's helpful for when you're drawing so that your hands don't get sore and

You don't get those indentations and your fingers and if you draw a lull bunch if you have

early

sharp edges to a pencil and

you draw for many hours you can actually form blisters on your hands I've actually had that happen with me before because I

Spend you know six hours or more drawing every day

And so the benefit of a rounded pencil is you don't have to worry about that now the downside of using a round pencil

or pen is say for example you have it setting on your desk

now while setting your desk

If it's perfectly even you might not have an issue because

I it's not moving now because uh

I've got everything pretty level but a lot of times if you have a desk is just slightly off

You know the pen and pencil is going to roll away

and

That can be frustrating especially be drawing on a drawing table that is slightly slanted

it can be difficult to keep your own

pens and pencils from sliding all over the place

but to get around that you could just angle it this way such as if you were

say for example your table is angled like that

You could just lay your pens or pencils in this direction

Rather than that way so they don't roll downwards

So that's that and number four

Which is?

the tripod shape of a pen or pencil and

The edges of it or rounded they're not pointing like isn't my

Drawing here the edges of it were kind of rounded like the rounded hexagon. Shape so you get more of it a shape like this

Edges are all rounded so you're not going to worry about they should with it bothering your hands

so, what is the benefit of

the hexagonal

pencil over the rounded one now the hexagonal one

isn't going to roll over the place you don't have to worry about that um but the round one you do

So there's two different kinds of hexagon shape

So there's the one's the rounded corners and the ones that don't have the rounded corners

I don't actually have any pencils I know if they actually have

the hexagon shape the word that the edge of it is sharp they're all rounded slightly so it makes it comfortable for writing

and

Another benefit with these is that

If you're beginner at drawing it gives you a better grip when you're holding it it allows it to stay in your hand better

So for beginners it's helpful as well whereas with a round

Pencil, when you're drawing. You might want to rotate the pencil and the reason you might want to rotate it is because

while drawing the edge of the pencil will change shape and

as you're drawing you want to turn the pencil so that you get a

point on the pencil and sometimes you might want to draw more boldly and so you change the angle of it and

also as if your hands get sweating

you can just keep rolling your hand

keep your finger from getting too sweaty you know get more air to your hand and all that that makes it more comfortable and

Between the hexagonal and the tripod for me personally I prefer the tripod grip for pens

Because my hand always stays in one position so I don't got to worry about

you know turning the pen or nothing like that it stays one way and

Then you know I just go on and make my lines from there

um

The benefit of the tripod shape over the round of course, is that it doesn't roll as much as

You know the rounded one fight

it's an example if I bump this pin slightly it's going to roll away across the table

Whereas if I have a pen that is tripod shaped

If I

do this

Sure might roll this because I pushed it really hard but if I just slightly bump it it's not going to go as much

Although, my table is this slight angle a little bit that way

I'll give a better example so let's say. I bump it this way

It doesn't roll all over the place whereas if I do it this one

it's gonna go that went and come back because my tables at this bit of an angle

See so

that's one thing about the

Ramen pen and pencil versus the tripod now as far as

pencils and pens like

between the

hexagon, shape and the tripod the tripod one isn't going to roll as much as the

Hexagon shape because the more sides are to it the more likely it is the roll because every time it hits

it's got more to overcome to roll over

and for beginners if we want to draw off pen I would suggest starting out with a

tripod shaped pin like this

if you want to learn proper hand control

To make sure that you always have your hand in the proper position some filing pins come in this shape there's pins

Such as the one I have here

That come in that shape as well there's a tripod and I find them more comfortable

if

I'm trying to do something very detailed and I don't want to keep moving my hand and stuff so there's that

They, do make tribe by shape pencils

They're a little bit harder to find that and I really that hard

I'll be leaving link in the descriptions video so you can find all these

pens and pencils below if you're wanting a tripod shaped around, shape or hexagon if you find any of those and

the final shape

a

Lot of you might know them those do construction or work on things might is

the carpenter's pencil it's more of a

Rectangle and I

Don't actually have any carpenter pencils

because I never had the need for them I've got every other kind of pen and pencils that I can

imagine and

but I think sometime I'll

Try and surprise everybody with a drawing with one see how that turns out but

The number five the fifth example of a different pen and pencil shapes is

the carbon the carpenter's pencil is obviously used for

carpentry

construction making lines and stuff like that

so you're not really going to see that and

With drawing pencils and pens so the main ones you're going to see is

just one through four here that was the most popular and

with pens the most popular is going to be the round is what pencils is going to be

the rounded hexagon shape of a

pencil and

the reason for round with pens is

because of

you don't need to

Turn the

pen like you would with a pencil and

a lot of times when people are using pencils

most of the people that use them or

You know high school college students or uh

People that are new to drawing so

They use er moving around a lot of stuff

or maybe um no really young people use pencils and so they don't want to know getting knocked off the table but um

So that's why usually a lot of times you see older people drawings they usually use pens and

so

If you had a rounded pencil

The problem that I think you would have with that if you had two rounded pencil as this

You wouldn't kind of have a hard time with your grip a little bit because I've noticed that my colored pencils some

When I'm holding those compared to when I'm holding

You know my actually gonna shape in CIL's I have a better grip with the pencils then I do the

Rounded colored pencils around any pencils will be used, so that's the benefit of that is

hexagon has a better grip

sharpen is a great gripping is good for beginners if you want to learn the proper hand position and

Round is use the ones you find it vadouvan pens an exception would be the lamest Safari fountain pen

to get a tripod grip which I actually do find very comfortable

Probably just a personal preference for me I kind of prefer?

tripod gripped pens and pencils and fountain pens

they seem to just fit better in my hand and

So if you have any suggestions about any other pin shapes or

Different types of tensley's like to see me do a demonstration with or

Know any device about what I should add to this or any other questions the general

squid let me know in the comments down below and

I was to go from there and answer your questions but um for now I'm going to go work um some drawings with these and

I think today I might do some graphite drawing I've been doing a lot of pen drawing but

Not a whole lot of graphite recently um I think I'll go back to my roots and start using

the old number two

Ticonderoga pencils it uh you know pretty much everybody had an uh school

Well back in my day I'm not, battle I'm not even 30 yet but uh

Most of the technology stuff is advancing a lot and uh people don't use the same things that used to you but anyways nonetheless

Probably going to start using this pencil here

for drawing today and see how that turns out and

I'll have that drawing video posted here soon with the next week or so so

Stick around and watch out for it but uh for now

Thank you for watching

like comment share and subscribe check out links below this video and if you have any questions like I said earlier

go ahead let me know and I will get to them as soon as I can

Customise and Upgrade Your Horse - Red Dead Redemption 2 - Horse Guide - Duration: 4:20.

Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Andrew and welcome to a horse guide for Red Dead Redemption 2. In this guide

i'm gonna be showing you how to customise and upgrade your horse using the stable.

So head into the nearest stable marked with the horseshoe icon on the map. Here

we have the stable menu, which is kind of self-explanatory. At the bottom of each menu,

it actually tells you what each option offers and then the bottom right; it will have the button prompts for each interaction.

So I'll try not to go into too much unnecessary detail.

The manage owned horses option allows you to switch horses,

sell horses as well as view their info and retrieve any horses that you've left out in the open world.

Stolen horses can be sold for money

but at stables they sell for very little, so it's better to actually sell them to a fence or anyone else that's offering money for

them. Keep in mind that level 4 horses will sell for a higher price.

So it might be worth levelling up the horse before you sell it. Back in the stable menu,

we have the buy horses option which pretty much speaks for itself.

You can buy your horses here and different stables will have different stock.

They have different types of horses and such. Back in the stable menu again, we have the tack and services option.

Tack will allow you to customise and upgrade your equipment.

Different saddles will give you different combinations of stats.

Which you can view by selecting

Any one of the saddles and pressing R3 or the right analog stick in to get the the stat info that it provides.

Stirrups act as upgrades that change your speed and acceleration, while also decreasing the stamina drain rate.

Naturally higher numbers are going to be better. So try and pick something that has the highest numbers on it.

Saddle bags allow you to increase your outfit storage which includes hats as well as masks. Horns,

blankets and bed rolls are purely cosmetic.

Now I myself have opted for the

improved garden vacuum saddle.

I found that it was the best all-round it offered 16 percent 14 percent 16 percent

I thought that that was the best all round stat for me. Now

The grooming menu allows you to actually customise your mane and tail. You can pick

between different hairstyles and then if you press left or right on the d-pad, you can actually change the colour of your hair.

I went for a braided tail because I felt that that suited a

Female horse a little bit better. When you go to the services option

This allows you to change the name of your horse.

Or you can buy a care package

Which actually helps solidify or fortify your cores. Now just so you get a better understanding

of cores in case

You don't know what they are. Cores act as a decaying

attribute and they decay over time or with use lower cores will equal lower regeneration for the corresponding bars.

So for example;

if your stamina core

Which is the lightning bolt symbol, if that's empty

Then your stamina bar regenerates slower or the lower the core the lower the regeneration. Cores also act as an extension

of these bars

so if your stamina bar is empty it will actually start to deplete your stamina core. So you can be

sprinting, even if your stamina bar runs out, you do have a little bit of a reserve.

Just keep in mind if that runs out completely, the regeneration is going to be slow as poopies. Back in the stable menu,

We have horse provisions

which is an option that allows you to buy food and

Tonics and medicine and that sort of thing for your horse. While you're here,

I highly recommend buying the horse Reviver. If you haven't watched my horse care & maintenance video,

this is very vital that you keep as many of these on you while you're exploring, because it

Mitigates the risk of you losing your horse if it's injured. That's it.

That's all you need to know about using the stable and upgrading your horse.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to leave them in the comments down below. Like I said for everything here is pretty much self-explanatory.

This is just to give you an idea of how to navigate it quickly without having to read through everything.

Thank you guys so much for watching. Don't forget to subscribe and visit the channel for more videos

Vibrator Guide - Duration: 4:53.

I'm Dr. Lindsey Doe, a clinical sexologist and the host of this sex curious show Sexplanations.

Today's Vibrator Guide is sponsored by AdamandEve.com.

And you can get all the toys we're featuring in this video on their site.

[WHIP CRACKING, COUGH]

I'm going to imagine that you're a first-timer.

You know what vibrators are and you may have even seen a few but there's some confusion

about how to invest in one (or what to buy someone else).

This confusion is reasonable.

Vibrators are the most sought after sex toy in a 25 billion dollar industry.

There's incredible diversity in what you can choose from, the quality of products,

and their values.

Of course it's going to be daunting.

This guide is exactly where I want you to start.

It'll help understand what's what and what's right for you, or your loved one.

Vibrators can be categorized in many different ways:

By material By function

By cost Brand

And performance -- how sophisticated is the toy at getting you off?

If you're shopping for a first-time vibe, you can go all out on something like the Regal vibe.

It pulses, vibrates, and escalates at multiple settings.

It's penetrative parts are body-friendly silicone and it's tapered for comfort.

But maybe you want to try a few other options before deciding which kind of luxury you want

to save up for.

These vibrators are just a handful of unique designs that serve specific purposes and may

or may not be the right fit for you.

This one is called a bullet vibe and it's actually the power source for a lot of other toys.

Like this playset with three different sleeves to change an egg-shape to and angled one.

Or these anal beads.

Wands like these are plugged in for their power source.

They can be used for massaging your shoulders or for really direct stimulation of external

erogenous zones like the clit and perineum.

For internal stimulation there are vibes with a more phallic shape.

This one is curved to create a very strong ripple on what some call the g-spot.

Then there's rabbit vibes -- anything that has this general shape....originally a phallus

and like this one, a rabbit with ears that would vibrate on either side of a clitoris.

This vibrator has ears!

Now they're made to be ambiguous, sleek, or playful with other species for clit stimulation.

This one warms up as you use it.

This one swivels.

This one thrusts in and out and it's clit vibe is a cuddlefish!!! Which is a whole

new level of technology than my first vibe.

Since we're trying to be smart my suggestion would be to organize design qualities into

lists of what you want, you're willing to go with but isn't ideal, and your won'ts --

I won't put that anywhere near my body!

I'll list them some vibe characteristics and simulate moving them into these columns,

the way I want you to, for yourself.

Firm, rigid, realistic, body-friendly, purple.

Made from non-toxic materials like medical grade silicone, glass, metal.

Phthalate-free.

Rechargeable, battery operated, hands-free, big, small, discreet, showy. Warming.

It swivels, thrusts, beckons, talks back.

Remote operated. Strap-on compatible.

Wide base for anal.

Textured. Waterproof. Has five star reviews.

Some of the characteristics I listed you might not understand or know whether or not you

care about them.

That unknowing is your customer research summary.

What you need to find out.

Maybe something like escalation.

What does that mean?

Escalation means the vibrations start slow and low, then build over time to faster more

fervent vibrations.

Do you want escalation in your new vibe?

Maybe there are some things you don't know.

With your want/will/won't list in hand (or on your phone) head to a sex toy store and

find out.

Pick up display models,

turn them on, and then run them across your body.

You have clothes on!

What feels so good you wish you could just snap your fingers and be at home to experience more?

The goal is to be seduced by the sensation not the appearance, so I want you to reference

your list -- I don't want you get distracted by all the pretty shapes and colors.

Focus on the feels.

Now if you've found the one, great.

I'm a huge fan of supporting local business and immediate gratification - it won't hurt

my feelings if you buy it on the spot and ignore the rest of this guide.

If you can hold off though, finance gurus recommend doing price comparisons.

Shopping around to find the same toy for less.

Maybe half price?

Any time you want to buy a new toy for your repertoire you can use the discount code D-O-E,

my last name, DOE at adamandeve.com.

They'll give you 50% off an eligible item in your shopping cart plus free shipping on

orders to the US and Canada.

While you're on the site, teach yourself some things.

What's available for vibrating nipples?

What toys are recommended for partners?

What's the latest technology in panty vibrators?

And which toys have the best reviews?

I'm actually a huge fan of doing this with friends or partners.

Going to the store or home in pajamas at the computer, scrolling through potential playthings

and getting real time feedback on what the other person thinks.

Vibrators are to pleasure as showers are to singing.

You don't need them, but they can make the experience much more powerful and can boost

your self-confidence pretty quickly.

That's a gift! Stay curious.

And don't forget to use the code DOE at adamanadeve.com for half off,

half off an eligible item and free shipping to the US and Canada.

EVERYONE IS WRONG ABOUT SHINY POKEMON HUNTING! The BEST Pokemon Let's Go Shiny Hunting Guide - Duration: 19:06.

yeah this video is definitely going to need as many likes as possible so if

you're fan of facts and you don't like misinformation please do everything you

can to support this video I'm talking like comment subscribe share Twitter

Facebook discord maybe even a reddit post to make sure everyone knows about

the proper way of shiny hunting in Pokemon let's go Pikachu and Eevee

because every guide on YouTube about shiny hunting is wrong there's either

tons of misinformation or tons of missing information and there's a lot of

problems because channels like a drive-in Austin job the first thing they

did was they opened up their game they knew that catch combos were a thing and

that affected shiny hunting and that's pretty much all the content in their ten

minute video they just dragged it out by keep running into Pokemon like yeah if

you build a catch combo and then the rest of the information is complete

nonsense or straight-up factually incorrect such as what we got from the

data mine so they effectively took the information with the data mine and ran

with it because at that time we thought that getting a chain count of 31 gave

you six IVs and a Pokemon that's not true also these shiny rerolls are not

the same from what we see with the data mine and the funny thing is they care

more about your clique to give them money than having proper information on

their channel that they did not remove these sections of video because there's

a YouTube video editor you can go into YouTube and you can cut out parts of a

video but by doing that it's gonna drop it below ten minutes and then they make

less money so they're just happy having garbage content that doesn't really

explain anything because they didn't have access to lures we didn't

understand anything about the encounters or shiny hunting in general or just how

Pokemon spawning worked so it's just a lot of go out and chain folk c'mon and

then you're going to get it and somehow this video just keeps getting promoted

by YouTube it also just kind of keeps getting out there people are sharing it

but they're getting tons of incorrect information so here's what we have right

now catch combo of 31 or higher gives you insanely high chance of getting a

shiny pokemon one in 341 now another thing we didn't know at the time is that

lures actually increased shiny rate while also increasing the amount of

Pokemon that spawn all it says is it makes rare Pokemon spawn but also

affects a lot more than that but it only gives you one extra shiny rule and then

that brings us like wave two of the shiny hunting guides so pokey tips

official and a lot of other people just bringing garbage information as well

because the Mehta then became standing still and

doing nothing with the Lord because Lord makes more Pokemon spawn and it gives

you a higher chance of getting shiny pokemon now one thing I want to say

about shiny odds is that it's all based on rules so as you can see shiny ray

with lore it means you're twice as likely to get a shiny pokemon if it's

only the lore but as you get a catch combo it becomes much less effective

even less than 10% so shiny right with shiny charm versus shiny ray with shiny

charm and lore those numbers are very tiny 19 out of almost 300 extra like

like chances or odds and stuff so that's that's why people are saying this but

the problem is the best thing about the lore is that makes more Pokemon spawn

either way the idea you want to preserve the lore as much as possible that way

you can encounter more shiny pokemon but this is completely false the thing is

they had a stupid idea instead of testing it to give people proper

information they rushed it out there to try to beat everyone else so that way

they get more views and just kind of the biggest problem with Pokemon right now

like look at how exciting this content is the content itself has very low

entertainment value it's also just incorrect but because shiny hunters are

doing it everyone's believing it I think that exposes a huge problem that we've

been seeing in Pokemon for a while now it's favoritism over facts that the

YouTube algorithm just kind of like throws out garbage content towards

people and that becomes the accepted norm instead of people actually thinking

for themselves or trying to create something better in the Pokemon

community like I'm doing shall I say like comment subscribe because I do

bring the best content that you can find in Pokemon and then things started

getting weird because I was streaming going for a 5 IV competitive gastly now

since you only guaranteed 4 IVs indeed get 5 IVs in the correct stat I was

expecting to be there for maybe a hundred catches or more so my odds of

getting a shiny pokemon we're actually looking pretty decent but then people

from the shiny hunting community start showing up and being very toxic in chat

I've seen dozens and dozens of comments of people saying I'm doing it wrong I'm

an idiot I'm supposed to be standing still and none of that really felt right

to me which was really weird also it kind of ignores the catch combos and

other people's intentions and goals that what you can do is catch Pokemon which

still also like opens up those extra spawn spots and all these other things

we're going to talk about later in the video as I get more in detail with how

complex the shiny hunting actually is for this guide but then yeah I'm like

doing that so I'm going for a 5 IV I'm going for a competitive but

to go for SHINee I'm doing it wrong because only the SHINee hunters that

have these incorrect guides have kind of created the monopoly and that's the only

thing that people are willing to accept which again can it reflects on how big

of a problem this is in Pokemon after that started seeing Twitter retweets all

over the place is like shiny hunting fails are people on Facebook where these

guys are legitimately standing still doing nothing I would love to show you

guys a video of a drive doing it but he actually gives copyright strikes to

people that uses content make him look bad and I don't want to risk that on my

channel but that's kind of the state that we're in and the thing is it's just

wrong and we can develop that with numbers now the reason why standing

still with the lure doesn't work is because there's a limit to the amount of

Pokemon that can be spawned in an area and this changes from area to area so

it's also kind of hard to kind of give like a blanket of oh you just do this

here and it's the best way because you can enter and exit routes in some areas

caves you can just kind of like I've actually seen people stand still in

caves it's like no what you want to do is you want to go down the ladder and up

the ladder that's gonna refresh the area and it's gonna be faster than the

Pokemon you're cycling through Viridian Forest is a great example as well

because I've seen over a dozen Pokemon spawn I think I've seen like 15 Pokemon

on screen at once in Viridian Forest but they think over to route 3 and the limit

is like 6 or something so that means that you're just gonna be locked in

until a Pokemon D spawns to get another Pokemon to respawn another thing is that

since we have a catch combo of 31 that interacts with the rare Pokemon so we're

gonna have rare Pokemon spawn which have a separate interaction entirely for

getting shinies I did a video on how to get like shiny starters and shiny rare

Pokemon you can check that out in the description down below but it just got

shows that it makes more sense that if you run away to a new area you spawn

more Pokemon it's gonna be faster than the time it takes to de-spawn and cycle

through and then certain places like route 3 can run over a run back and by

doing this I was able to get 63 Pokemon to spawn in four minutes while having a

lore active now while standing still I was only able to get 44 Pokemon in four

minutes now this is kind of weird because I also made another discovery

that the lore speeds up the time that Pokemon will disappear now without a

lords about 30 seconds with the lore it's 20 seconds and then like in theory

it sounds like oh so that means I'm just gonna get Pokemon to deep spawn every 20

seconds like that however rare Pokemon that's on a separate table so you're

getting an extra encounter from this you're also getting

like potentially to Pokemon appearing at the same time and disappearing at the

same time so depending on like how synchronized things are your rates could

be slightly better or slightly worse but 44 was kind of one of the best tests

that I got for route 3 now you might have noticed I was doing it a little

weird on that last one because I wasn't standing still and there's two different

ways that people approach like these standing still method when it comes to

encountering shiny pokemon and as you can see in certain claustrophobic routes

this is just terrible because you're getting a Pokemon kind of budding in

every few seconds that was actually kind of quick but this Charmander isn't gonna

get me nah but that that Sphero is so yeah when this happens it's actually

going to just completely wreck the amount of Pokemon that you're gonna be

encountering yes by encountering a Pokemon it makes it go away which gives

another opportunity for a Pokemon to spawn but it's slightly slower then if

you just kind of would let the Pokemon despawn naturally so all of this is

going to add up and then you get like 32 to 34 Pokemon spawning every four

minutes so there is another way people do and that's like you know slightly

dodging that if pokemons coming your way you dodge a little bit that's still

going to eat up lures and they might just run into another Pokemon which is

going to hurt your odds even more like this is just a disaster right now and

that's why I don't like understand why a drive was doing like this despite being

a renowned shiny hunter it's just that people they think they come up with

something cool and edgy and that's just bad also to get that 44 number I kind of

cheese in the system because I'd run up here I'd be like oh hey I'm gonna count

this Charizard I'm gonna count this Dragonite so I was kind of giving this

one more points than it actually ends up getting because while you're running up

here checking Pokemon Pokemon are spawning D spawning you can run down

check on it again have a little bit better first shiny pokemon but again if

you're just standing still it drops from forty four way down however things get

even crazier because flying with Pokemon is going to give you even better numbers

than running and that just kind of makes sense because we can take less steps so

we're using less lures and we're also just kind of going from point A to point

B a lot quicker and with a lot less hassle so with this you just kind of

have pokemon spawn up there are a few disadvantages as you can see I can't see

Pokemon at the very bottom but eventually you know they'll appear and I

mean that was like seven Pokemon just like that so now we can run back over

here and as you're flying over Pokemon or spawning as you go up here to check

Charizard Dragonite Pokemon or spawn so that's another five Pokemon just like

that pretty much my method with this is after about four or five Pokemon spawn

that's when you start getting close to the cap so you might as well freed up by

just leaving and my goodness there's a lot there's a lot of flappy boys around

here and then one two three four five six again Charizard coming out of

nowhere so every once while you're getting encounter it's pretty rare going

like this but it does just massively come kick up the amount of Pokemon

you're getting that's where you're getting close to 80 in four minutes like

20 Pokemon a minute is certainly possible by going with this method and

that's a pretty insane oh my god that's a shot no tell are you going where are

you going oh my goodness I think this system works oh wow now to make sure

this guide covers as much as possible I also want to show some other areas in

the game like Route 17 which is one of the best places for finding Pokemon in

the entire game we got two nice patches of grass between two of the best places

to find Pokemon I mean look at this beautiful stretch of land just filled

with Pokemon there's also a pretty high spawn limit as well as just pretty high

spawn ratios so the amount of Pokemon you're going to get is pretty good and

yet shiny hunters squander this by plopping their butt down and waiting for

a shiny ponytail to come to them now if you're standing still doing nothing here

you can expect about 55 Pokemon in four minutes

however we can still keep up the 20 Pokemon per minute by going back and

forth after five or so Pokemon spawn you just head on over to the next area it's

still about three lures every four minutes to do it like this I mean boom

there's a chance he right there and what I like doing is I like going to about

right here yeah about right there so what this means is like Charizard

Dragonite it can spawn so that's an encounter by the time that Pokemon

spawns we can also maybe see another once that's not a shiny Dragonite then

we come back down here and look just filled with both ones so that's another

one two three four five with that Pidgey up there you have to kind of pay

attention to Eevee there's no chance e6 there's a Charizard seven so you know if

you give it a little bit of time and you do it right you're just going to find so

many more Pokemon than standing still now this is the point of video where I

feel like people are going to be up some well actually that people have already

been upset at me you know the comments

section is gonna be filled with people saying the reason why people stand still

is because it's more effective on the lure and to me I feel like this is the

death of critical thinking skills and common sense that people see Lord good

not moving saves lore because the Lord works like a repel and that accounts

with the amount of steps and therefore by not moving you're getting the most

efficiency but that's not the case as you can see we are blowing these ratios

out of the water by being active which means if we can actually pay off the

amount of blowers that we're using this is going to be a much better method so

what are the rates for the lures 45 lures an hour forty thousand poka

dollars an hour in lures okay maybe I made a mistake except I didn't because I

went through the Elite Four and I beat the Elite Four in under 15 minutes and

that gives you over 60,000 poker dollars so that means one 15-minute leave or run

gives me all of those lures and now that means I have 45 minutes of better odds

Shawnee hunting and if I do to Elite 4 runs that means I have multiple hours of

going with this lure method another interesting thing are daily events so

this is that turning it's like a quick little money-making guide because you

can do drip gimli to rematches for a lot of money and not an elite for commitment

you get like the free big pearl you get all kinds of stuff so here's what I did

four thousand dollars for a big pearl by just watching the ladies slowpoke but

then you can battle Brock each Gym Leader rematch gives you thirteen

thousand and like 600 poker dollars or something so good amount of money right

there after that you can go rematch misty and while I was rematching misty I

went over here to cerulean cave I went to the Treasury room and then I did a

quick run by it so by doing that you can average about two to three golden

berries so that's like seventy five hundred right there for free after that

vermilion City for lieutenant surge and then you can also rematch Nina as well

um I don't do saffron city I don't do Erika's gym and I also don't do kogas

gym but Blaine is free and then blue is free so by doing all that and then using

a Persian that had payday I was able to clear this in 20 minutes and get an

obscene amount of money so in 20 minutes I made one hundred and twelve thousand

pokey dollars from fortunately to rematches at thirteen thousand each the

big pearl nine thousand for me know with payday we had twenty thousand from blue

I was getting about 4,000 extra per payday on the gym leaders I did not

including Brock's that's an extra four right there and then I picked up some

berries at cerulean cave which gives me an extra 7,500 now the thing is you can

repeat this rolling cave more often than just once a day this guy shows that you

combine everything together and in an hour you can make close to 300 thousand

pokey dollars you do three elite four runs you do all of your dailies and then

that's going to be insane amount so that means in one hour of money farming we're

getting enough for three hundred and twenty-five lures which is 7.2 hours of

active lures just from that one hour spent for the day now this is where the

math comes in because that means it's going to be on average about nine

minutes per hour wasted for grinding the amount of money for getting a lure now

rounding this up to ten minutes because maybe travel and little things that

could go wrong and like rates and stuff you know all right so let's say you know

you're losing one sixth of your hour to lures all right so this is the map that

the video has been leading up to the entire time standing still on Route

three is approximately 11 Pokemon per minute and remember this is best case

scenario it only gets worse from here that's gonna be 660 Pokemon per hour

flying so that's gonna be 20 Pokemon a minute however we have to multiply that

by five six because amount of time it takes to get lures still 1000 Pokemon

encountered per hour now if we go to route 17 route 17 is going to be the

best place for standing in pretty much the entire game because of the situation

that you're in that's gonna give us about thirteen point seven five Pokemon

per minute or 825 an hour however that if we're if we're just also like

standing still we risk getting some encounters let's go drop the rate below

800 and then just kind of keep sliding from there if we can maintain that

twenty Pokemon a minute then we're still looking at a thousand Pokemon per hour

now that also kind of shows like this weird consistency between the flying

method because it just depends on the area like I said you have to be dynamic

you have to be understanding of what that area needs for shining hunting

because there is still that large patch of grass it's not like we quickly hop

over the mountain go back and forth really quick you know there is gonna be

a little bit of a gap and sometimes Pokemon will or will not spawn in those

two extra strips of land now another thing that this also needs factor in our

exits same with an area like route 7 you leave

and come back and then you're able to spawn like for Pokemon every time

standing still is just gonna be terrible there so what I hope this guy this shows

you guys is how bad of a state we are when it comes to Pokemon like the

Pokemon community been saying this for years it's terrible people hate me for

saying it but I mean these are just the facts and the numbers that back it up

everyone that's made of shiny hunting guides so far they did it only for the

money they did it only for the clicks they don't care about you as a viewer

and one way to prove that is because a drive and Austin Jones video they still

have false information they still have the 31 I v6 or the 31 encounter 6iv

Pokemon and they aren't taking that out of their video 1 oh why they remove it

from their video so if they give you the factual information it's likely going to

drop the time on their video below 10 minutes which means they can't put

mid-roll ads which means they can't make more money off of it so they stretched

out this garbage quality video to 10 minutes to explain nothing because

almost nothing was known just to try to be the first one to get a shiny video

and then try to game the YouTube algorithm YouTube's algorithm doesn't

care about the proper information doesn't care about what's right and then

people they just kind of like fall into tribalism just load a bandwagon like oh

this has a lot of views so it must be good and they still support some of the

worst content out there when the better content is getting suppressed and

algorithm burned and view burned like my content and stuff so I just wanted to

kind of make that clear and show you guys the difference between actually you

know caring about an audience and then show you guys what the breakdown is for

understanding how the game works instead of looking at these surface

information spitting it out there trying to come up with something new cool and

edgy like standing still being the best way

whoa that's gonna blow popular convention right and then still being

completely wrong because it's only about the views to them you can earn lures

at a rate to where the money is just going to get better best-case scenario

for the standing still method still worse other areas like if you go into

Viridian Forest you know you're gonna get 10 Pokemon a spawn you run across

burning forest you get 10 more Pokemon to spawn that's just going to be better

than waiting for those Pokemon de-spawn respawn or we just do the top to exit

top exit run through the top two patches of grass tons of Pokemon spawn run back

up and then that's still gonna be faster than standing still I did a rare Pokemon

guide slash starter guide well that's where it's at

we better if you're targeting a specific Pokemon to run into it and run away

which is also going to affect your odds because you might notice pokémon like

Chauncey Charmander Bulbasaur porygon once you get that higher catch combo

they start spawning very frequently also lower odds Pokemon like Eevee is a 5%

chance I'm on a 30 catch combo so now Eevee is spawning regularly but

at the same time you still need to leave oh wow there's actually a lot of you

down there because they were just wandering around while it's recording

the video so yeah you need to leave come back reset the Eevee but this is still

going to give you very low rates however it's specifically targeting Eevee

because by freeing up the CV now that means another Eevee is going to spawn in

a pretty short amount of time so it's also if you're just going for all

pokemon or if you're going for a specific Pokemon because now look at all

these little guys pop up I'm going for a specific Pokemon I can only encounter

maybe six seven Eevee which is going to be you know 360 maybe 400 maybe 340

depending on like how bad the RNG gets 340 Eevee an hour compared to the just

800 general Pokemon an hour responding with the lures and stuff now this also

costs money so if you're trying to dodge encounters if you're trying to chase

down Pokemon you're adding another you know four minutes spent per hour

potentially three minutes spent per hour with the lures which hurts the rates

even more jessica's shows the facts guys this kind of shows what's going on with

Pokemon hope you all enjoy the video hope you all the nice day thank you very

much for watching
