What if you didn't have to get this reality right? Tour of Consciousness with Dr Dain Heer - Duration: 9:12.Hi everybody, this is Dr. Dain.
Welcome to this installment of the Tour of Consciousness
from one of my favorite places in the world, Noosa, Australia.
It's the Australia tour that I get to do at the end of almost every year, so grateful!
I've been jet skiing a few times, enjoying and of course...
there's like a rule, let me see I don't know if I can show it to you.
Do you hear that noise?
Seriously, like really...
There's a rule in filming, as soon as you start record something noisy will happen.
You know, if you're in a quiet place maybe like the tundra,
maybe northern Sweden or something right now
or someplace where nobody is press the record button on any device
and you will find something noisy.
That is actually not the tool for today but I wanted to share with you,
I mean who has a biplane flying over when you're doing a video?
Anyway, what is the tool for today?
Well, let's see I've got about a billion of them right now.
I know it's been a little while so it is truly a pleasure to be with you.
I had so many things going on I have not gotten in front of the camera very much,
at least not my phone camera and so, tool for today...
"What beyond this reality acknowledgement am I not giving myself?"
Now, I know it may sound like nothing but check it out for just a moment.
I was having a knock-down drag-out argument with my best friend,
Gary, the founder of Access.
Both of us are interested in possibilities,
both of us have Access tools, both of us were asking questions
and yet we were going at it.
It was a bunch of stuff that had been there over many years
that we had never really resolved we didn't even know it was there.
So, it started perking its ugly head up
and we were literally just like going at it in a restaurant in Rome recently
and the waiter comes in he's like, "oh my god, I'm so sorry!"
I was like, "don't worry about it, we're just being Italian."
Simone Milasas, our worldwide coordinator had been listening to the conversation
and she raised her hand, it was so cute,
she raised her hand like a little kid in kindergarten
because there's two grown men,
we're lovers not fighters, you know what I mean.
It's like well it's not really our style to go after somebody.
We were going after each other which was kind of fun and entertaining and awesome
and and she raised her hand, you know, afraid of
probably getting yelled at, or something, I don't know.
She said, "guys, uh this really does seem to be about acknowledgement".
You know where I was looking for acknowledgement for something,
he was looking for acknowledgement for something
and we were looking for acknowledgment for thousands of things probably
and nothing was going anywhere until she said that.
And I said, "yeah, you know what we need to look from beyond this reality at this".
So Gary came up with this amazing process he says,
"what beyond this reality acknowledgement are we not giving each other".
And we ran that two times and with in two times of running it
we had tears of gratitude for each other and we gave each other a hug we're like,
"oh my god, I'm so sorry." I'm like, "I'm so sorry too!"
It was awesome!
It's one of those moments that truly gives you an awareness of
how quickly things can change, how dynamically they can change.
What I got from that, I've been using this tool for a while now
and I sort of debated whether to share it or not
because I don't know if it makes sense to most people.
I've sort of been doing this as my life, looking for other possibilities
and also not wanting to get stuck in the crap
that seems so normal to most people here.
You're justified in getting angry at people that you care about,
you're justified in separating from them.
What's that creating as your life?
So, we ran this process two times and it just changed everything
and what I realized in that was we were looking from the reference points of this reality
to determine what the other person had done right or wrong.
I was looking at what I had done right and done wrong.
he was looking at what he had done right and done wrong
and once again I say it's like we don't tend to do this very often.
So, when we do or when we did, dear Lord was it intense
and it wasn't really as much fun as as I might hope it would have been.
Wasn't fun at all!
So, in running this process,
"what beyond this reality acknowledgment are we not giving each other?"
You can do that in a relationship, so with you and anybody else
but then you also want to look at,
"what beyond this reality acknowledgement am I not giving myself?"
Because the way this reality works it's kind of like a Truman Show,
you know that big dome that Truman lived in
and if you haven't seen it you really need to watch it,
it's a great example of this reality.
Basically this guy's living in this totally artificially created reality.
It's a big dome, it looks real to him
and the only way to get out of it is to go on a boat
so they instill fear in him from the very beginning of water
so that he will never get on the boat and leave because he'll be too afraid
and it's reminded me so much of this reality,
I'm like, "oh my god we're living in a Truman Show".
When we got this process of,
"what acknowledgement beyond this reality am I not giving myself?"
or "...are we not giving each other."
It all became very clear to me because what was going on with my besties,
my best friend and I changed instantly.
So, I'm not saying if you do it with somebody else it is going to work.
If you've been on this path of change for a while
and you were willing to have a reality beyond this one
or an awareness of something different
and that this reality isn't all there is then it'll work for you dynamically.
This will start to unlock the places where you haven't been able to get there.
If you haven't, I don't suggest running it with anybody else
or with somebody who hasn't done that.
I don't really suggest running it with them
but I want you to have it and yes it'll be up on YouTube eventually
and people around the world will find it and go,
"what the fuck were you talking about?"
And I'll go, "I don't know..." because I've forgotten by that point.
Anyway, "what beyond this reality acknowledgement
are you not giving yourself that if you did would make your life easy, joy and glory?"
Everything that is,
Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys and beyonds.
One more time,
"what beyond this reality acknowledgement are you're not giving yourself
that if you did would make your life ease, joy and gory?"
Everything that doesn't allow it,
Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys and beyonds.
So, with this thing of beyond this reality acknowledgement
you want to recognize that there's a world..how do I put it?
It's like basically this world functions on some very strict rules
about you being right and you being wrong
and what other people need to give you in order to show
that they're being kind to you, in order to show that they love you.
And what's really possible, what's really available
is truly a world of kindness and possibilities.
Where you can see, where you can acknowledge,
where you can be grateful for the gift that every single person in your life is.
You don't have to make them wrong and you don't have to make you wrong
and there's a totally different possibility available.
So, if you're willing to allow yourself to have that
what else would be possible?
Once again,
"what beyond this reality acknowledgement am I not giving myself?"
Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys and beyonds.
"what beyond this reality acknowledgement am I not giving myself that if I did
would create my life as ease joy and glory?"
And for somebody you're in relationship with,
"what beyond this reality acknowledgement
are we not giving each other?"
Because when you start to acknowledge each other beyond this reality,
magic truly starts to occur and then life gets so much fun!
Then you wonder, "why did I have those problems?
What were they there for? Why would I do such a thing?"
Oh well, you did, you came, you saw, your created crap
and now you have a process to get out of it.
I adore you immensely, thank you so much for being in the world.
What if you truly being you were the gift,
the change and the possibility this world requires?
I look forward to meeting you in person someday!
Bye-bye!
Bye-bye!
Bye-bye!
Yeah, I did that three times...
I just wanted to see if you were watching!
Okay, bye!
Bye-bye!

Japan to get first aircraft carrier since second world war amid China concerns World news - Duration: 3:13.Japan to get first aircraft carrier since second world war amid China concerns World news
Tokyo will upgrade helicopter carriers, a move critics say violates constitutional commitment to defensive role
Tokyo will upgrade helicopter carriers, a move critics say violates constitutional commitment to defensive role
Japan is to acquire at least one aircraft carrier for the first time since the second world war, as it attempts to counter Chinese maritime expansion in the Pacific ocean.
The government will upgrade its two existing Izumo-class helicopter carriers so they can transport and launch fighter jets, according to media reports. The plans are expected to be included in new defence guidelines due to be released next month.
This week the Nikkei business paper reported that Japan was poised to buy 100 F-35 stealth jets from the US at a cost of more than US$8.8bn, a year after Donald Trump urged Tokyo to buy more US-made military equipment.
The reported order is in addition to 42 F-35 jets it has already bought from the US.
Japan's prime minister, Shinzo Abe, told Trump in September that high-spec military equipment would be "important to strengthen Japan's defences".
By refitting its two 248-metre-long Izumo-class vessels, which can each carry up to 14 helicopters, Japan would in effect be acquiring its first aircraft carriers since the end of the war – a move critics say violates its postwar constitutional commitment to a purely defensive role for the military.
Previous Japanese governments have ruled out acquiring aircraft carriers, adhering to the postwar consensus that the vessels' capabilities could be interpreted as offensive, in a possible violation of the country's "pacifist" constitution.
In its latest defence white paper, Japan noted that China had acquired and built aircraft carriers to enable it to expand into Pacific waters near Japan's outlying south-western islands.
Increased Chinese naval activity in waters far from its shores has added to bilateral tensions over the Senkakus, uninhabited islets in the East China Sea that are administered by Japan but claimed by China, where they are known as the Diaoyu.
"It's desirable that the Izumo can be used for multiple purposes," the defence minister, Takeshi Iwaya, told reporters this week.
The carriers will be deployed to defend Japan's remote south-western islands, according to the Mainichi Shimbun.
The defence white paper, published in August, also voiced concern about Chinese military spending and naval activity in the South China Sea.

Free Sound Effects: Where to get free sounds for your videos - Duration: 7:14.In today's video we're going to talk about free sound effects.
Where to get them and how to use them in your videos.
So stay tuned!
If you haven't done so already,
hit that subscribe button. And don't forget to hit the bell for notifications.
Now if you go on Google and just Google free sound effects,
you will find a whole bunch of places.
But my favorite one is the top one listed here freesound.org
That's where I get the sound effects for my videos.
And let me show you around their site a little bit.
Now, when you first come on the site,
you'll notice you'll be able to look around.
But if you actually want a download one,
you'll need to sign up. It doesn't cost anything to sign up.
And they actually take donations if you want to give back to the community.
They have a home, sounds, forums, people and help.
This is an open source site. It's been around for a very long time.
And on the main page you'll see
updates to their blogs, what's coming,
you know, all the different things that you can find.
But the easiest way is if you're looking for a particular sound,
you can just search in here.
Say you want the sound of a cat.
I put in cat meowing.
And it takes me to several options.
You can see the date, you can see how many times it was downloaded,
you can see any comments made on the video.
And you can also take a look at Creative Commons.
This one is no commercial license.
Over here to the side you'll find licenses.
You have 113 of them that require attribution.
40 of them that are attribution but non-commercial.
But the ones I always go for our Creative Commons 0.
In other words, you do not have to give anybody credit for these.
These are open source and free for you to use.
So, I'm going to click on that.
And that will bring all the Creative Commons 0 ones out.
So let's take a listen to a couple of them.
That's a very cute little purr. Here's a meow.
And as you can see right here, It's going to tell you how many seconds
each one of them is. This one's 17 seconds.
This one's just a 1 second, 15 seconds
and you can also tell what kind of format they're in. This one's in a wav.
But like this one, it didn't say wave on it, but you can go over to it.
And you can play it from here.
And this one should be one second.
That was just a soft little one.
It's in wav format, it gives you the exact duration,
the file size, how many bits.
And you can see comments on it if there's been any complaints or hey, that's not working.
And then to download you just go right here.
Now let me show you a couple of the ones that I got and tell you how I use them.
Once you have an account, you can go to your account page.
You can go to the sounds downloaded.
I've downloaded two sounds.
This one right here is a record scratch.
I haven't used it yet,
but I've thought of a couple places I wanted to use it.
It would be like something where you'd want to like, change direction real quick.
You'll probably recognize this sound from other
videos that you've seen. It's a really cool sound
that you can use to change the directions in your video.
That's called a record scratch.
That one's a really fun one.
The other one I got is girl screaming.
And this one's two seconds long.
And let me show you the video I used that in.
It was actually a six second bumper I made.
Okay, this is a little six second bumper I made.
And I actually used that scream in this video.
So let's check that out.
So you can see how that scream kind of enhanced the video. We'll watch it one more time.
That's just an example of how you can use sound in your video
to make it stand out.
To make it pop. To make it change direction.
You don't need to go in and put in sound effects
every time you see walking putting walking sound effects,
every time you have a dog put in dog sound effects.
But use it to pop your video, use it to make it jump, use it to punctuate it.
If you're not really sure what kind of sound you want,
If you click on the sounds button,
you can hear the random sound of the day,
see what the latest sounds are,
and the most downloaded sounds.
Let's check a couple of these.
This one says whomp.
That was really cool. I am I'm not sure what I would use that for.
Let's see what this tension build up is.
That one looks really fun too.
Light wooshes
And you could take your sound editor, once you get one of these sounds.
You could change it by putting it through a compressor.
You could make other adjustments just make it sound a little bit differently.
Let's hear this one that just says bell.
It's a very crisp bell. Almost like a doorbell.
Most of the times they'll also tell you
what they did to get the sound. What kind of microphone they were using.
This one says metal on metal sliding movement.
Very simple.
But you may find it handy to use these in your videos.
So hop over to freesound.org
And check out some of the sounds.
Maybe look around and see if you can find one that will make your video pop.
If you have a free sound site that you'd like to recommend,
drop it in the comments down below and I'll check it out.
Thanks for watching. Bye. Bye
Hey, thanks for watching!
If you haven't already done it hit that subscribe button.
And give us a thumbs up. We'll see you next time.
