WAY Alliance: Supporting Youth Aging out of Foster Care in North Texas - Duration: 1:33.
The Bible calls Christians to look after orphans and widows in their distress.
Many people believe the only way they can care for orphans is by fostering or
adopting a child. But that's simply not true. There IS another way. WAY Alliance's
mission is to help the 250 teens who age out of foster care in North Texas every
year, many of whom don't have a single, positive connection with a caring adult.
Unsupported and unprepared to live on their own, one in four of these teens
will end up homeless. And one in three teens will be lured into human
trafficking within just 48 hours of leaving home.
So what does WAY Alliance do to help these youth?
We recruit and train volunteers from faith communities. Our mentoring program
then matches these volunteers with teens from foster care, to help them establish
the vital, caring relationships they need to succeed. We also connect youth to
resources in the community—for housing, education, and jobs—and help them learn
the critical life skills they need to thrive in adulthood. A connection with
one caring adult can make all the difference in the life of a youth

So, all around it's just a great experience.
As a patient they make you feel comfortable by greeting you when you come in.
Always saying hello, they always joke with you, work with you.
It's more of a big family atmosphere.
I think you should check out Dr. Hart because he makes you feel comfortable.
It's his work obviously seen on me.
I work at a bank, so I'm in constant contact with people all day long up close, so it's
important to me to have a good smile and be friendly.
I guess it gives to me a warm welcoming feeling when you can look at somebody's smile and
appreciate it.
The value of having a straight healthy smile is just worth it, it's just worth every penny
that I paid.
I would do it all over again if I had to, it was definitely worth the money.
I couldn't be more happier with my smile, I've waited my whole life for it and definitely
going to show it off.
