and we're back for another episode in this episode I'm going to be unlocking

to get it done so in order to unlock it for storm blood you need to come to

Albers reach to 1013 and you literally just have to do this quest and it

unlocks and yeah so let's see what's involved so the guys called Olga iron

How To Juggle 5 Balls Tutorial, Complete Guide - Duration: 33:18.

what up you guys welcome back to another one of these videos my name is Lauri

Koskinen and today we're gonna learn five ball juggling

welcome to one of these tutorials today we're gonna learn five ball cascade and this is gonna be a

complete guide how to learn to juggle five balls so I'm gonna show you all the

steps that you need to take to learn the five ball juggling this is something

that I mean requested to do so many times like so many people ask me can you do a

tutorial on five balls do you have any tips to learn five balls

so I decided let's do it so this is gonna be complete guide to five ball

juggling or to learn five ball cascade to be specific whatever so I'm gonna

show you a lot of different steps that you can take to learn the five balls now

if you already know how to do that step I would still recommend that you try it

and see how could you technique is and then go for the next step

alright let's get started so we're gonna start with just three balls and this is

something you can do like if you want to learn five balls you should already know

three balls and tricks we three four balls tricks with four and then five balls

let's get to it so three balls like this now the first

thing we need to do is high throw so just one ball go a little bit higher and you

practice both hands so every training exercise you do you do with both hands

so it's just one ball higher a little bit higher first and then more higher

and then you just throw one ball or even higher and then just another high throw like

that and then it can be the same ball

now it's hard to say how high you need to throw for the five ball cascade is

usually around here but it depends it varies from person to person so that is

why we're gonna train everything in three different heights we're gonna do

what it's called a normal so what feels like for your five and then we're gonna

do a little bit lower and a little bit higher so that is why we go a little bit

lower throws and that is why we go what is called a

normal 5 height for you and then a little bit higher so you're like 30 40

centimeters higher always like that or lower so around this much okay a little

bit like one and a half feet something like that depending on where you're

watching this and and then we're gonna learn just 1 2 high throws 1 2 and you

start with the right hand and then you start with the left so 1 2 1 2 and you

can also try this lower and then try them higher and once you get two then you

can go for just 3 high throws they get back to Cascade and then three high throws back to

cascade and if you can master that then it's time to just do high throws ok let's

just start immediately with high throw this is just normal high throws now it's up to you

when you have your normal height then you're gonna go a little bit lower

just a little bit lower high throws and then we're gonna go back to

the normal and then a little bit higher

there it is that is our first exercise that we're gonna learn

high throws and again you do the normal height then lower and then higher next

exercise is the flash something like that I don't know I don't know how am I

gonna edit this so let's just keep on doing so the flash means this so you go

1 2 3 high and then you continue back so what you can start you can start from

straight from the hands to 3 flash or then you going to start from here you

can start on hands so you go 1 2 3 it's the same as going high throws but your

pattern is faster so you throw from the same speed as you would throw here 1 2 3

1 2 3 1 2 3 1 and then you come back I got a hit so you go 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3

then you come back and just practice this a practice first from your stronger

hand if you're right-handed practice to start from the right first and then do

the left because it's always easy to practice your good side first and once

you learn that then it's sort of like it's easier to

transfer that knowledge from this side to the other side there needs to learn

completely on the other side so first learn the better side so you can

transfer that knowledge into your weaker side so in my case I would first to the

right side and come down and then practice the left and do it lower first

three one two three and then you can try to work your way up to your normal

height what is your normal so you do lower first and then normal I really

make sure that every throw goes to the same height this is what usually happens

you go first second and the third is really low so one two three so we don't

want that you want all the balls to go the same height so one two three to

really try to make all those throws same height especially the last one because

that is usually the one you're already starting to focus on the ball that is

coming down so you want to focus on also on the balls that go up so really make

sure there's all the throws and especially that last one all go to the

same height and once you come down do what many throws as you have to and then

do it again you come down you relax and you do it

again and if you can you can go to set up throws so you just go one two and

then one two three one two one two three one two one two three and then they go 1

1 2 3 1 1 2 3 then you do the other side 1 2 3 1 1 2 3 1 1 2 3 really make

sure all those throws go in the same height and then it's just a matter of

doing it more than once in a row I'm first you can just go 1 2 3 and then 1

so you go 1 2 3 and then 1 2 and then 1 2 3 1 2 3 and really wait because when

the last ball goes high you have a lot of time see a lot of time before I have

to throw

maybe not that much but you have a lot of time it's very relaxed pattern okay

now once you get this going now it's time again to play with the height so

first you can do once you can do it continuous then you can learn to do it a

little bit higher you can just throw a little bit higher from both hands and

now a lot higher but just a little bit higher right and then you start doing a

little bit lower as well and then you try to do continuous a little bit lower

and then you do your continuous normal height and then you try to do continuous

just a little bit now that was too high it's just a little bit higher

so again you practice all these in those three different heights the normal a

little bit lower a little bit higher this is because you want to learn

control first of all you don't know the height of your five balls so it depends

on the speed how fast you throw and the dwell time and everything but once you

learn this when you learn all in three different steps you can actually do the

Cascade much faster because you have learned control it in the three

different heights so whatever it is your height that you want to do you can do it

so that is why we learn plus it teaches you control you'll be able to do higher

throws it gives you better technique for later on to learn more tricks and when you

do the lower it gives you more speed and accuracy as well so it's just

overall very good technical exercise to do all these three different heights

alright and now after this we're not going to do harder exercise now now

we're gonna do what it's called a dwell time exercise so dwell time means

how long you hold the ball in your hand before you throw it again so if it's a

very short dwell time that means you hold it very short amount of time if

it's very long dwell time it means you hold it for long time so you can also

say like slower and faster what we're gonna now call it the short

dwell time and long dwell time so we do both of these

this is high throw now this is the normal dwell time just normal

speed that I will juggling now if I want to do long 12 times so throw like a

slower pattern so I throw as late as possible and again it's the normal

height and now we want to go this a little bit lower height and you throw as

late as possible and then you're gonna go a little bit higher while still

throwing as late as possible and again you try to control and only make perfect

throws like that now these teaches you control

again if you do make a little bit mistake or something or one ball gets

thrown a little bit lower or too high whatever that it breaks the rhythm of

your 5 balls when you practice this already that you can do wait a little

bit longer and then throw faster that will help you and teach you control so

this is why we do it to learn better control and now we're gonna do also the

short dwell time the faster pace so we go to our normal high throws and now we're

trying to make that faster like this now we get it fast now what we're gonna do

is bring it a little bit lower and we try to be as fast as we can and again

focus on good technique only good throws and really focus on good technique and

then you try to get a little bit higher than your normal cascade and if you

do make a bad throw come down and start again now this teaches you again control

speed and control speed and control you want that 5 balls is difficult so if you

just go learn it like this it's like I learned somebody show it to me like this

is how you do 5 balls oh thank you and it took me one year to figure out

because I just saw it once and no exercises so when you do all this

exercises you can learn it much faster like you can learn it in weeks instead

of a year so some people can learn it even faster than that so

do these steps learn them okay anyway now we did the dwell time exercise in

high throws now we're going to do the 12-time exercise in flash so it sounds funny but

you get your normal flash and now we're gonna do a slower flash so it's

basically you start now now like really late and then you're

gonna yeah so it's the first that you start as late as possible so you get the

lower and then that's higher and really focus on those throws that they all

go to the same height like that okay and then we're gonna do the short

dwell time exercise all the same so we go to normal and now we try to get speed

clearly so we wait before we throw the first one did we so we can go to diddily

diddily diddily and then lower diddily diddily diddily diddily and

again focus on the good throws and then we try to be higher so

you wait before it's or the first so you can go I don't know why

but I like to say didily like that so this is again the dwell time

exercise this will teach you to be fast but control your throws again you need

this for the five balls and you need this for when you want to go tricks with

five balls and when you wanna go up to six and seven balls and even nine and

whatever you need that speed with the accuracy this will teach to you okay the

next exercise is the snake so when it comes to doing the snake the snake

pattern is this so the balls follow each other in a pattern that is so it's like

a snake going around like this so the first ball is head and the last ball is

the tail so that's how it goes but a lot of people mistake this exercise they go

like one two three one two three and that is not the correct rhythm and I see

a lot of teachers teaching that but they just don't know what they're doing like

they don't know what they're doing that's it period

so when it comes to doing this snake pattern the correct rhythm is one two

three one two three one two three one two three one so it's like that

so Ton Ton To Ton Ton To Ton so if you start from here we can start and you can

start with two balls this is something important you have to learn eventually

three balls in one hand so you can start it right away from here or if you still

find it difficult you can practice just this you practice from one hand to

another and how to hold three balls in one hand take one ball in your palm like

this now you hold it with your you just squeeze it with your pinky and

ring finger okay now you have your thumb and your index finger middle finger free

grab the one ball now if you lift your middle finger that is gonna be the place

to hold the last ball so this is how you hold and you drop or you throw that one

in the middle finger and then you throw the one from the index finger thumb and a

ring finger no middle finger index finger and thumb and then the one with

the middle finger sorry pinky and ring finger you're gonna hold it just

normally and throw so that is it that is how you hold the three balls in one hand so

you can practice like this first because you need to or you don't have to but

it's good to learn the left side as well do all this

so now let's get into the correct snake pattern so what I said you can

start from here snake or you can start three from one hand I think it's good

to learn the three from one hand but if you find it too hard first learn first

from here and then go from there so let me just show you to you how it is from

three in one hand first we're gonna go one two and three so just this you

practice on this side and then go from left one two three one two three and now

you're gonna get the speed to this one two tree and it try to be one to feel

just a little bit faster one two three one two three and then you just start

to add that speed now we're gonna learn continuous throw and this is what

we can start from here I'm gonna go the two in one hand you can start with that

so you go right right left so again right right left

stop there and then we're gonna go from left you're gonna go left left right and

right right left left left right so it's ping ping ping ping ping ping

so right right left and then left left right and now this is gonna be so you

can start right right left and then left again so right right left left right

right left left and now you can do one more left

so you go right right left left left and now you end up three in here now it will

be just you continue that you can start from the left you go left left right

right right ok now we're gonna start making it continuous so we're gonna go

right right left left left right so 1 2 3 1 2 3 ok so right right left left left

right and this is the pattern now once you can get this try to do it from the

beginning with very accurate throws so all the throw go to the same height and

same place the first one and the last one and the middle one everything goes

up the same height and in the correct pattern so right right left left left

right right right left left left right right right left left left right so that

is the correct rhythm now again from here you can start try to bring it a

little bit more down so you go right right left left left right right right

left left left right and then you can try to bring it higher once you learn it

as well sorry I had the wrong rhythm

like that now you can do this as well bum bum ba 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3 but that is

not the correct rhythm for 5 balls like that is poorly done exercise for 7

balls okay or what I'm gonna say poorly I mean you should do it higher for seven

balls but it is not exercise for five balls it is not three ball snake for five

balls okay so the correct rhythm is Ton Ton Ton Ton Ton Ton get it Tin Tin you

get it and did I know you did okay but that is it that is it for the three

balls you see how many steps you can do with three balls and trust me if you try

them all even if you know them before if you try them all in different heights

and you also do the dwell time exercises you will learn that five balls much

faster right let's get into four balls so with four balls there's a little out

of different exercises I'm gonna show you the most important ones the first is

just half shower what we're doing in the crossing pattern so we build this

this is the first one that we want to learn so what it is you go high-low so

with the right hand you go up higher and then you go lower

obviously you want to juggle four balls first we want to do this but so we can

do it once so you just go high low and then continue both throws are crossing and

then you come from here and then either one - that's good right hand throws the

high throws and the left hand first lower but it's still right left

right left right left right left right left right left okay and where to look

I look more of the upper upper ball the higher ball but my eyes still sort of

like follow glimpse of it even if it's in your peripheral vision or then you

just quickly peek but you don't want to turn your head if you want to peek do it

do the lower high enough so you can peek it without moving your head so you just

move your eyes alright that's how you look and then you learn the others hand

side as well and if you start if you start to go like this padam padam padam

the balls are too close to each other so you need to make the higher a little bit

higher and the lower a little bit lower so you get this

pom pom pom pom pom pom pom instead up there Bam Bam Bam see that now they're

closer each other pom pom when they're the other one is higher and the other

lower you get that done son son son and that is the rhythm that we want to learn

now so you practice that and again once you get it continuous so you just add

one trow at a time then you can make it lower and higher as well

now the next pattern would be once you do that on both sides it will be that is

called 53 next would be 5 3 4 so you go 5 3 and then you continue the 4 but you

only continue it one time 5 3 4 5 3 4 so you get 5 3 and then 4 5 3 and then 4 so

high cross low cross straight throw high cross low cross straight throw I'm going

these steps very very fast because I don't want this tutorial to take long

time but you can always pause it watch it again I'm still giving you the

steps now ok and if you can continue here you just try to go high low

straight high low straight and again if the pattern is messed up you usually

need to throw that high throw a little bit higher and keep the low crossing a

little bit lower right so next exercise is this 2 crossing throws one two both

go up to five ball height one two one two and again on this five three four

you can practice this one to learn it a little bit lower and a little bit higher

as well just to learn to control your patterns and your tricks controls

alright so this one two and then for the left side one two and then you can add

one more one two three oh sorry no wrong exercise so now we're gonna do this

exercise and it's gonna go from one side to the other so you go right left and

then left right left left and you gonna end up all three here just transfer one

ball one left left right sorry and I've one left right left

damnit I dropped No so right left left right right left left right and now we

want to do it from the left side so left right right left

pom pom pom pom so this is a little bit poor so it's not fun pom pom pom but

it's bump bump bump bump like that and again try to make all the

hight especially that last one the second one as high at the first one so the both

balls go all the ball go high and then again try to keep on going so want to

pin pin pin pin pin pin pin pin pin and again from here you can do the higher

and lower so you practice it's a little bit lower and you also practice that a

little bit higher so you learn to control right and now you can do the

dwell time exercise on this one as well so you try to practice throw a slow as late

as possible that's first and then you go short dwell times so you try to throw as

fast as possible now this is

it's not the correct rhythm but again you can do it to teach a little

bit more than speed and control as well it's not a bad exercise it's just a

little different pattern different rhythm but it still I think it's still

helpful okay after this we're gonna learn to do you can do like it's not

necessarily which one is harder but we have one more we have five five five one

and five five five one four and then we have the flash so this is the five

five five and then you transfer go one two three cross and you transfer the one

ball to the other hand so 1 2 3 cross 1 2 3 cross another drop NO there so you can

after that you can try to get into the 4 ball pattern ok and they started again

I'm from here you can do it for the left side 1 2 3 & 1 2 3

transfer and continuing juggling and then you can just do it continuous so

1 2 3 and it starts always from the same hand so first you try to do it

once then you try to do it twice and if you can't do it you can be faster sorry lower and then you can go higher and then you learn the left side as well

like 1 2 3 three one two three and again as always

try to keep all your throws at the same height now after this comes the flash

now I know I'm very fast with this but you can always pause and practice these

and later and watch them okay step by step so then we have know we can also do

that sorry I forgot we can also do that so it changes sides so we go one two three

and we do one four you go once on this side and then you do it from the left

side now because of that one four that one straight throw that stays in the same

hand the pattern keeps on going now now we'll really make sure that all those

throws especially that last high throw gets thrown as

high as all the other ones and again that pattern you can then go once you

learn it you can learn it lower and then higher well but just like this much

alright now we come to the flash so we say one two three when we do this now

we're going to throw four one two three four and stop there one two three four

and stop there and do it from the left as well

one two three four and stop there now just add one more throw to this so you

go one two three four one and then you stop and then you're gonna add two

trolls so and also do this on the left so one two three four a one then do it

from left side where do they do do pull left as well then you add two throws one

two three four one two one two three four one two

once that feels good do it from the left one two three four one two one two three

four one two okay now after this you just add more throw so then you go 1 2

3 4 1 2 3 and after that you do it from the left side and then 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4

and then try to keep the pattern height as good as you can 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 so I

mean the pattern height is your what you would call your normal 5 and you'll

learn it on the way like what feels good for the rhythm wise but you try to make

all the throws to go to the same height again I know I keep repeating that but

that is very important so make sure that you do it and if

you're not sure if you do it film yourself or ask a friend who is a

juggler they will know and they will tell you or you can see from the video

now after this you will practice this lower and higher so once you learn to do

the flash you can practice it lower and again 1 2 3 4 1 1 2 3 4 1 and then it

will do that and then you practice a little bit higher as well like if you

don't know how to juggle these 4 balls like this there's no reason to go for

the 5 balls like if you don't know for you think you know five now so practice

the forward first first a lot worse first anyways that is the 4 ball

exercises not all of them but one of the most important ones so do them and then

let's go for the 5 ok so the five balls is now you're ready to go I hope you

have practiced this how to start three from one hand and now we're just gonna

do one ball at a time we're just gonna do one and you can do I I want to start

necessarily practicing straight from the left hand as well with these five balls

I will learn first from the right hand and once you can do it like ten throws

or so then add the left so you start like every other time with the right

hand and every other time with the left or at least like every third or every

fourth from the left because you need to press this at left side as well plus if

you have heavy balls you're gonna do so much extra muscle work with one side and

then you don't want one muscle to get big and the other one's a weak so you

want to practice both sides but first practice the better side and then do it

from the left as well or whatever it's the weaker for you so then 1 2 then 1 2

3 and you just practice that 1 2 3 and the rhythm for this is like it's not 1 2

3 you should get like 1 2 3 4 and then you catch the ball one-two-three-four

catch one-two-three-four catch one-two-three-four catch so that should

be a rhythm and then you add one more one-two-three-four catch catch catch

catch one-two-three-four catch catch catch catch I know you don't have to say

that out loud I'm here alone now so it's fine other than like you people

watching in okay so and then we add one more throw one two three four five one

two three four five and that is flash congratulations if you nailed it you did

it yeah whoo so let's continue so after that after you learn the flash you want

to make sure that you practice it for a while like you make really good throws and

all the throws are same height one two three four five now this is much easier

than you think if you practiced all those steps if you learned all those

steps and this is much much easier than you think now after this before you

start adding more throws practice a little bit that speed and accuracy so

try to do a little bit lower so you have to be a little bit faster from boom boom

boom boom and again you can practice just one throwl at a time

and then go like 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 boom boom 1 2 3 4 5 oh yeah and then you

make a little bit higher just to learn that's control as well now after this

then you're gonna start adding throws so we're gonna do five throws and with the

left hand you can just add 1 2 3 4 5 6 just go 1 2 3 4 5 6 like that so you

just add 1 more trouble 2 3 4 5 6 and then another one once you get that you

can add 1 1 3 4 5 6 7 ohh 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and then you just keep

on adding one throw at a time now make sure that from the beginning you start

good throws and all throws are good now you always sort of add one more throw

and once you get up to the 10 once you have done this 10 then you can start

practicing from the left hand as well just try to little flash from the left

and the way to think about if that left hand is pretty tricky this is a mental

thing that you can do what you can do is and you can go and 1 2 3 4 5

so instead of trying this one too because you have practiced from the

other side you can just go and one two three four

five and one two three four five and one two three four five so it's sort of a

mental exercise for you first of all you do six rows so that's very good but also

you don't start that one with the left because you have already tried that one

with the right so it can be a little bit this mental trick that can help you a

lot so you go from the left you go one two three four five instead of that you

go and one two three four five and one two three four five so you really think

that one being from the right hand even if you start from the left now after

this once you get the ten throws you can start just trying to get more and more

and more now remember again always start with good throws because if you start with

a bad throws it's gonna be hard to keep that pattern going okay and if you're

having difficulty with that five ball go back to three balls and four balls and

every time you practice this five ball start with three balls just start going

quickly through those exercises and then go quickly through those four ball

exercises you can just spend five minutes and three balls five minutes on

four balls and then you can spend that 10 15 20 minutes on that five balls but

don't just go straight to five balls do those exercises first and once you learn

them you can just do quickly use them as a warming up okay so it's like a

technical warm up and then boom you're good to go with the five balls anyways

but also loads of people just wear them out and about next one is if you know

somebody is a hat person right they like they like to put on a little baseball

cap Gucci does some amazing baseball caps at the moment it's just like a very

typical item that you can get somebody that you know uses this you know value

luxury and everything else and just you know just just you know make a little

can get pretty stupid Christmas is all about opulence is all about being

over-the-top sparkles festivities right so let's let's bring that to the

so Alessandra rich is basically the woman to go to at the moment for OTT

earrings and they are all clip-on so if you don't have ear holes ear holes

you're covered okay because they're clip-ons Miu Miu also do an amazing

selection if you want to get somebody earrings but you want to get something

luxury but not over-the-top something that they can wear every day then I

would highly recommend the Dior tribal studs I have the gold and silver

rings are something that will always come in handy

Augmented Reality to Guide the Blind - Duration: 2:17.

The technology of virtual reality and augmented reality is about

acquiring the information about what's out there in the scene and then converting it to other uses.

All these things are coming together, largely as a result of consumer technology,

not because someone wanted to build a device for the blind.

We're just riding that wave and combining these different devices and concepts

to make a new thing that never existed before.

The hololens creates a 3-D mesh of the physical space to overlay virtual information on top of physical space.

What we did is to try to take advantage of that,

but overlay sound or auditory objects on top of physical scenes.

Imagine you are in a world where all the objects around you have voices.

When you first walk into a new space, you can simply have the objects call themselves out, one at a time from left to right.

"Floor lamp, laptop, picture..." You can switch to Spotlight Mode and

you point your head towards different objects in the scene, they get activated and speak their names to you.

It tries to communicate the visual world

on cognitive level, at the level of language, at the level of understanding.

"Navigation started, follow me, follow me."

Essentially we invented this virtual guide. It always stays a few steps ahead of the user.

It calls out "follow me" up two flights of stairs, around a few corners, a long stretch of corridor

and then a final turn into my office.

"Wow, that was pretty cool."

We have seven blind subjects and they all managed to do the task

- to get to my second floor office - during their first round.

It was very gratifying to see that a blind person could come to the lab, put on our device

and make their way through the building without further assistance.

The sky's the limit for what kind of functionalities you want to build into a device like this

because it's essentially a software problem.

We'd like to see this device used and offered at the entrance of large spaces

more or less the way you would adopt an audio guide when you walk into a museum.

You plug the headphones in, and off you go.

Hi guys, in this video

we're going to show you

5 great ideas for your day trips from Kyoto.

Kyoto is located right in the heart of the Kansai region

which makes a perfect base for these day trips.

So, make the most of your JR Pass

as Kyoto is very well connected,

with plenty of buses and trains passing through Kyoto

to these nearby locations.

Rather than booking a hotel,

you can squeeze in two or even three places

and come back to see Fushimi Inari or Bamboo forest

and hike right to the top of Fushimi Inari, in the evening,

like we did - as these places stay open 24/7.

And if you feel like the nightlife in Kyoto

is a little bit too quiet for you,

like it in our case during our stay in Kyoto,

we're going to show you somewhere

where all you partygoers are going to love.

Ready? Let's get the party started!

Nara. I could bet that a trip to Nara

will be one of the highlights of your trip. since

Since deer are considered to be messengers of the gods in Shinto religion,

you are going to see hundreds a deer roaming around.

Here's what to add to your TO-DO LIST:

1. Feeding the tame deer with deer cookies.

2. Make a deer bow (and bonus points if you can make a human bow to you too!)

3. Escape a deer chewing on your belongings!

Next, visit Todaiji temple,

featuring the world's largest bronze Buddha statue

called Daibutsu weighing 500 tons.

I like to think of it as a big sister

of the Buddha in Kamakura – but... better.

Nara was Japan's first capital, well before Kyoto took over

so expect to see lots of ancient temples,

including Kasuga Taisha,

hidden in the deep, misty forest.

The way up to it is patched with hundreds of stone lanterns.

Himeji castle. Himeji castle is a little bit far out from Kyoto

so get your JR Pass ready- it will come in handy!

Even a 1-day JR pass will pay off in no time!

You cannot argue with it -

this snow-white castle on the hilltop

is the largest and most visited castle in Japan

so you may want to add a trip to Himeji Castle from Kyoto or Osaka.

Even young Sean Connery marked his presence there

as a young James Bond back in 1967!

I came across it a long time ago in my Japanese coursebook

so it was a must-see for us.

If you happen to come here on the sunny day,

then there are plenty of shaded areas

where you come down in.

-It's actually quite breezy in here, right? - t's 32 degrees (89.6 Fahrenheit)

At the top, the views are breathtaking.

That's after climbing up a few floors toreach the top

and by then you will be out of breath anyway.

Non-Japanese speakers? No problem!

Simply scan the code and select your language to learn about the castle.

And whilst you're here, get the feel of what's like

to defend your land and people

from the approaching enemies.

Spoiler alert - during cherry blossom season

Himeji castle gets literally rammed

with thousands of tourists.

If you can't beat them, join them!

Or just run a mile to escape the crowds!

As you're leaving, check out Koko-en Garden,

built in Edo-style with 9 different Japanese landscape gardens,

including water garden, tea garden

and the largest and most colourful koi fish

we have ever EVER seen!

-So those tickets cost us 40 yen each. -Yeah.

I think if you buy the tickets separately, it's 300 yen to come here.

Like if you were coming here just to see the garden, not Himeji castle.

But, we have to go back to catch a train,

in like less than an hour, to Kobe, to try Kobe beef.

That's the highlight of my day!

Kobe. You can venture into Kobe even if it's just for lunch.

Since you can try the original Wagyu beef only in Japan,

Kobe is the best place to try Kobe beef

and it can cost you as much as hundreds of dollars!

But, even if you're on a shoestring budget,

don't worry - we've got you covered!

If you go to Kobe Chinatown called Nankinmachi,

you can get a smaller portion for as little as $20!

Nankinmachi is the 3rd largest Chinatown in Japan

and has some serious mouth-watering food options

so you won't be leaving hungry.

You are going to like duck wraps,

steamed pork buns and dim sum.

And if you're here till the evening, check out

the neon Kobe Harborland and Kobe port tower.

Lake Biwa. During the summer months,

a day trip from Kyoto to Lake Biwa

will be the perfect escape as Kyoto can get quite humid and sticky.

Sightseeing in the heat can become more of a chore

and will start to wear you down.

We actually combined Himeji, Kobe and Lake Biwa,

all on the same day so we really

made use out of our JR passes!

And when we finally got off the local train,

we got whipped with a fresh breeze

from the largest lake in Japan!

We loved the chilled Japanese countryside feel

and a beautiful floating Shirahige Shrine,

which looks like a miniature Itsukushima Shrine.

Shirahige shrine is submerged in water

and it's never overcrowded, making it ideal for relaxation

and the water is a lot warmer if you fancy sport activities.

Osaka. Although Osaka deserves more than just a day trip,

you can still see the best of it a single evening.

Just in time to feed your hungry taste buds.

Remember, Osaka is nothing less than

the gastronomic capital of Japan – and party-goers,

you're going to have a field day here!

Start with the vibrant Dotonbori,

you are not going to feel this vibe

anywhere else in Japan.

Neon lights, gigantic TV screens, street food stands,

night clubs and of course - socialising with the locals.

Foodwise, try delicious street food like takoyaki and okonomiyaki

and if you're more daring – the deadly fugu fish.

Once you're done, burn it all off in the clubs,

they're open until the morning hours!

Just in time for the opening hours of Osaka castle,

which is equally as pretty as Himeji castle,

and the Shinsaibashi shopping area which is

likely to rinse every single yen that you have.

Guide to JUST (Tales of the Rays JP) #ザレイズ #ToRays - Duration: 4:26.

Hey everybody. So I'm not very confident in my voice, so we'll just do this really quickly.

This is a guide on "JUST"ing. When you JUST an arte, you gain a substantial

amount more MG than when you don't JUST. "MG" being "Mirrage Gauge".

Under the right circumstances you can even go from 0 to 2 full bars of Mirrage Artes in a few seconds.

Alright let's start with the basics. This one is the most important one, okay?

Besides seeing JUST on the screen when you successfully JUST an arte, when you

swipe an arte, you'll see the arrow highlight yellow. When you're

unsuccessful in JUSTing, it's highlighted orange. To JUST an arte, you have to time

the next arte when the previous arte finishes its animation. For spells, you

have to swipe the next spell after the release of the spell. They say the

easiest way to tell is when you see a white circle appear and expand on the

spellcaster. This goes without saying, but always try

to do one tap attack before using an arte because it costs no CC, it's fast, and

that's what makes it a great JUST starter. You can use the same arte twice

for JUST, but the third time does not give JUST; Spells are included.

If you hit more enemies with the arte, they'll add a few more points of JUST as

bonus. As you all may be aware of, as the battle goes on longer, JUSTing becomes

less impactful. So how does it work? To keep it short, for 15 seconds in battle

you are getting the max power of JUST, which means you have to make the most of

JUSTing in the first 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, the JUST reward diminishes

every 3 seconds by 20% until the 30th second. By that time, all JUST rewards

have been diminished to 1. If you play story hard mode, JUST reward is halved.

Boss battles have different rules. Because they are meant to be longer than

regular battles, they compensate by roughly doubling the amount of JUST each

arte rewards. Also, instead of 15 seconds of max JUST rewards, it's 30 seconds of

max JUST rewards. The JUST reward diminishes by 40% instead of 20%. In

other words, try to empty your controlled character's MG bar before the boss fight.

if you want to make the most of the boss battle.

If you use a Mirrage Arte at

the start of the battle, you're gonna find that the JUST reward will be

reduced to pretty much half. If you use 2 party members' MAs, then those 2

will have JUST potential halved, while the other 2 will still have max JUST

potential. Use your MAs wisely. There is one more thing I'd like to talk about

before this guide is done. That is, abusing JUST. This has no use outside of

farming JUST for rerun mission rewards. As long as you get hit while using an arte,

you can use the same arte over and over again, and it will still give JUST. That's

everything you need to know about JUST. I hope you can make use of this

information. When you study JUST, it's a very simple mechanic. There isn't much to

it, and the TL;DW version of it is to JUST as much as

possible at the start of battle. Have a good day everyone.

We're going to be hanging out with locals in their neighborhood

And they're going to be showing us their favorite places

From that insider perspective that you always want

Here we go, let's explore park slope

So today we're going to take Jon and Adriana around our area of Brooklyn, called Park Slope

We're going to take them to all of our favorite local spots

We're going to start out at the Bagel pub

Which is our literal favorite spot

We go there once a week

At least

We have a problem actually

A bagel addiction

Alright Adriana

We're starting our day as they said at a bagel place

Are you hungry

I'm starving guys

So i'm ready for anything

This could be New York's best bagel

Let's find out

They have Chipotle Bacon

They have jalapeno cilantro

Guys they have oreo cookies

I've never seen oreo cookie cream cheese

I'm almost tempted to try that

Since it's about 55 degrees today

We're going to eat these bagels outside

And i admit I did a video about the best bagels in New York City

And this place I didn't try yet

So we'll see how it holds up

I got a salt bagel

With tofu scallion cream cheese

It's my favorite cream cheese

Cause it's vegan obviously

And I got a salt bagel to

Because I love salt bagels

With Chipotle Lox Creamcheese

So spicy, that's my jam

Was there's so much to do

There's lots of restaurants

Lots of bars

Lots of young people our age in this area

It's not super crazy

Like some of the other area's of brooklyn

That.. you know you hear about

Where people are partying all night

And all that kind of stuff

It's very.. very chill

Without even realizing it.. there are ridiculously beautiful brownstones

And buildings in every direction

This has to got to be one of the most scenic areas in all of New York City

Absolutely blown away here

I don't come here often enough

We're entering Prospect Park now

Sometimes I feel like Prospect Park is like the little brother to Central Park

That a lot of tourist's don't really know about this place

Why do you like prospect park?

You can walk around here

You can ride your bike here

There's a really cute gazebo

There's ponds, there's ducks

There's a dog park

There's so much to do

Here.. and it's definitley worth a trip

We're going to explore just a tiny bit of Prospect Park

And show you there favorite spot to hang out

This is one of our favorite spots in Prospect Park

We like to just come and sit here

And if we're lucky

Today we'll see some dogs, walking playing in the water

Over there

We like to just sit, watch them

Relax, we can just sit here for hours

How to use this build in combat and give you some more tips, but let's get into it. So

For the abilities, we're gonna start with the

Destruction line so you have to start off with Immolate, which is

Like a fire explosion over a certain area

I got the add on the Wildfire add-on which just means it burns hotter and has a shorter cooldown time allowing you to use it

More often. And then you have to get all the all these passive abilities, Conductive Current

Flashpoint, Clean Burn,

Pyromancer. So these will

sometimes give you willpower or magic

They are essential in order to get to these two

So let's start off with Energy Barrage

Which is where you shoot out numerous projectiles based on your staffs magic so that could be fire

It could be frost could be electricity. And I also got the add-on which is Energy Bombardment

So each hit from Energy

Barrage

Lowers the targets resistance to your staffs magic for a short period of time so whether that's you know that's Spirit, Electricity, Frost, Fire

Whatever. And then this is without a doubt my favorite

power my favorite active ability in multiplayer

Firestorm it's where you summon flaming meteors that are great

If you're in a bind if you're if you're at at a choke point or crowd control

These are excellent. And then you also want to get these passive abilities, Death Siphon combine this with the Life Drain ring

We're going to go through inventory in just a bit

but combine this with Life Drain and you're gonna be regaining health at a very quick pace, so this

At every time an enemy dies nearby you regain both health and mana. Okay, and then Stormbringer is a

Lightning bolt that periodically comes to your aid zapping a random nearby enemy

So I didn't get those two, but I got this one here Control of the Elements all staffs effects that you inflict last longer

I did this so these spells a little bit more umph plus you also get magic as well

And then you're gonna want to get Defiant which is where you get Magic and Cunning

I like this because it's gives you two, Magic and Cunning for one passive ability. So it's like a two-for-one :)

And then if we go over to the Control tree line

You have to get Winter's Grasp and then you have to get all of these, Peaceful Aura makes you less aggressive

Enemies are less likely less likely to attack you. You also get Willpower. Winter Stillness

You stand still and it will restore your mana at and enhanced rate and reduces all your cooldown times. You also get Willpower

And you also get for the next one Guardian Spirit

This is this has saved me so many times when you're about to die

If an enemy lands a killing blow instead this barrier will pop up and that has to be depleted before you can die

Which gives you a chance to get out of there. Then you also get a Barrier

This is also very important. This is like another health bar

And I also got the add-on for that, Elegant Defense which just reduces the cooldown time by about 4 seconds

Strength of Spirits is the passive ability after that which is when you your barriers draw on magic of the fade

To absorb more energy before they deplete so this that's just a barrier bonus. I also got the passive ability of Veiled Riposte

So whenever you have a barrier active enemies to attack you take damage or return. This also gives you magic

This is helpful if you find yourself surrounded or if your Barrier is starting to deplete.

Or you're having trouble wearing down an enemy. All of this helps, right? It deals damage

20% of the damage they inflict on you is returned

And then I also got the passive ability of Gathering Storm

This is when each basic attack shortens your active cooldown times. It also gives you 3 willpower

So the Firestorm has a 60 second cooldown. They may not seem like a lot but in a fight

Every second counts right if you if you're surrounded by

Tons of enemies you want your your big powers to come back quickly and this is crucial for that

All right. So that's my ability list how you map them is up to you

it doesn't really matter and then

For this build I can play on Threatening and Perilous provided you have a good team and you play smart

Beyond that it doesn't really depend on your build or even what staff you have

Or armor it all depends on your core stats, would you improve by promoting characters.

FYI

Ok, so let's go through the inventory

So for the weapon, I have the Staff of Stasis and I have the Superb Spirit Rune on it

The weapon isn't crucial to the build and but that just depends or that will dictate what damage you deal

what type of damage and the armor I have the Drake Scale you get that when you hit one million xp with the mages and

Then accessories. Okay. So let's start with the belt.

I don't havae the Superb Belt of Melee Defense because you want to stay back with Mages in general and with this build

You don't want to be caught in

Melee exchanges you want to stay back and rain down damage from a distance. Belt of Health is what I have.

As my health as you can see isn't

You know too high to begin with. And then the Rings I have is the Enhanced Immolate Ring.

Which just increases the ability duration by about 30% and then I also have the Life Drain Ring on. Now

this combined with Death Siphon. Very useful.

So this gives me 2 percent heal on kill and then for the amulet I have the Amulet of Magic which just boosts

My magic capabilities which makes my spells more powerful. Alright, so you made it to the end

Let's go into a quick match and I'll show you

How to use this build in combat. Okay, so

Look everyone. Okay, so you're in combat here. That would I

What I would prioritize first is Barrier you want to get that cast. So keep your distance. "This is quite amazing" Then take him down.

You can take this guy down. So he's gonna charge at me, right?

If I can just kind of navigate around him and use Immolate, and he's dangerous at a distance.

So that was that passive ability, right?

Which allowed me to use it twice in quick succession?

Okay, now I just want to show you the firestorm look when there's a group of them

Here so that was again that lightning bolt coming to my defense

Okay, so there's both three of them here two warriors. I probably won't be able to get to all of them.

So what I'll do is I will call this down and that's going to knock em down.

I can fall back a little bit and then, going to take them down.

So just like how you map your abilities will depend on how you play so will how you use them so

The Yoko Factor • S04E20 • TPN's Buffy Guide - Duration: 11:38.

With The Yoko Factor, Season 4 of Buffy limps into it's two-part finale.

And no, I don't really consider Restless the season finale.

More of a comic book annual...but we'll get into that.

The Yoko Factor and Primeval manifest all of season 4's strengths and weaknesses,

respectively.

If we were to cluster Season 4's successes and failures they break neatly between the

gang and the Initiative.

Yoko Factor deals with one and Primeval deals with the other.

Both are hilarious and when the gang is together everything feels like it's clicking.

When we're dealing with the Initiative it can feel a bit perfunctory at times..

It was a challenging season to make and it has been a challenging one to talk to about.

Let's bring it to a close.

The episode opens on a character we've met once and one we've never met before discussing

the fallout from Riley's mutiny.

This plot-necessary meeting is the result of the arc having been derailed though, we'll

get into that.

General: "Quite frankly, I don't think [Riley] was ever the soldier you all thought

he was.

Boy thinks to much."

Here we bring out the out the thematic sledgehammer.

Confusingly the general calls Buffy 'just a girl.'

Which...makes no sense.

Buffy beat up Riley's team.

She was at the briefing for a mission.

It was suggested that the entire initiative knew who she was.

Adam and Spike are figuring out their plan of attack on the Slayer.

Spike points out that the Slayer's power lies in her friends.

"Take them away from her."

Post-Sanctuary Buffy returns from LA looking regretful.

Xander brings Riley a spare pair of hammer pants and an overshare about Buffy's personal

life.

X: One moment's happiness.

It's his trigger.

And you know what makes him happiest?

I'll give you a hint.

It's not creme brulee.

R: Sex...with Buffy.

X: She kind of left that part out right.

*siiiiiiigh

Xander makes a show here of not realizing Riley didn't know about the sex.

But boy is this conversation fraught with problems.

First of all there is a moment when it's clear Riley doesn't have the whole story.

X: "What do you mean?"

And Xander barrels on ahead.

Second problem is Buffy hasn't given Riley any cause to not trust her.

I mean...the bosses at his job created an evil monster while drugging him that killed

his metaphor mommy and he continued to work for them for seven more episodes.

On the other hand a once in a lifetime girl that has given him no real reason not to trust

her goes and visits an ex to warn them about crazy ragin Slayer on the loose?

Oh now he has trust issues.

At Casa De Giles we get what after Where the Wild Things Are might seem like gratuitous

super sexy smouldery Giles singing - were it not for the chosen song.

Free Bird...

Spike interrupts.

Offers up Adam info and manipulates Giles' insecurity that has been building up all season.

Giles drinks.

Tara and Willow went in on a mutual pet, Miss Kitty Fantastico.

DEADPAN Freud: Willow is playing with Tara's....Kitten...get it?

(It's a vagina metaphor.)

"You cannot have more catnip.

You have a catnip problem."

...hunh.

Hammer Riley stops by Buffy's.

He's patched into the Initiative's frequency so they can't track him.

Which made me wonder why Walsh and Company never bothered to bug Buffy's dorm, given

the threat that she represented.

Spike's attempt to Yoko Xander consists of him sharing gossip that Xander might've

been joining the military?

Xander bites immediately.

"I'm very useful.

I have skills and strategems.

Help me out."

"He's a viking in the sack."

This bit doesn't REALLY work for me.

I get it.

Spike's be all you can be bit plays on the idea that Xander hasn't figured out who

wants to be, sure.

But Xander buys that Willow and Buffy were gossiping about him joining the military and

laughing at him while IN FRONT of Spike?

Let alone that, of all the Scoobies who would probably not believe a single thing that falls

of Spike's stupid sexy mouth I kinda feel like it would've been Xander.

Minor point.

Moving on.

"Don't shoot."

Says Forrest while pointing a space laser at her.

Forrest and Buffy argue over which one of them Riley is best with [SUBTEXT BUGLE] before

Adam steps in and kills him.

Spike brings gibberish disks to Willow and a drunk Giles and Spike continues to twist

the knife.

21:46: You're not exactly the Wiz these days either.

Your mates said you weren't playing with computers so much.

Into the new thing."

This is a direct distillation of the Magic vs Technology Feminine vs Masculine idea they've

been building all season.

Riley hears of a hostile tearing up a squad and goes to help.

And that's when he stumbles on…

"You must be Angel."

Silly though the two of them are being...I love this scene.

The hyper-masculine boyfriend off is dumb and silly and I think the scene is embraced

as such.

Much of it is even shot from penis angle.

Low looking up.

Wood fights an epic battle against watery milk and the two of them end up at Buffy's

front door.

The fun, boyfriend's behaving like idiots stuff though definitely throws off the tone

you'd think should be there now, since Forrest is dead.

I'd ACTUALLY forgotten that had happened until this cut-in to remind us.

Be honest.

You forgot about it for a second too right?

Buffy and Angel apologize to each other.

No, I don't think it fixes Sanctuary but it needed to happen.

Buffy and Riley have a bit of a complicated scene with a couple points I want to hit on.

First of all there is the unspoken notion that sometimes jealousy just happens, even

in a healthy relationship.

R: Sometimes things just happen between exes.

And the other is Riley's inability to take responsibility for his own feelings and behave

like an adult.

As in…

B: Have ever given you any reason to think that you can't trust me?

Then why the crazy?

R: Because I'm so in love with you I can't think straight.

This is stupid nonsense.

The correct answer was, you're right.

I'm being an ass.

I'm sorry woman of my dreams.

I will do better in future.

Riley's answer, was romantic code for I can't be held responsible for my actions

because you're so amazing.

So it's on you.

I hate it.

I hate it so much.

And, worse, the music endorses how romantic his comment is supposed to be.

There are two telling details in the scene though.

Only one of the two men ask about Buffy's injury.

And Riley says he loves her and Buffy does not say it back.

Oh and btw Forrest is dead.

SO?

Tacos?

The powder keg that Spike spent the episode lighting explodes.

Riley shows up in Adam's den.

And the first of the two-parter is in the books.

As ever, it's difficult to say too much about a plotty two-parter before the second

episode so there will be more in the next.

I really like the Yoko Factor as it mostly Scooby-centric and cleverly ties together

a number of threads by way of a manipulative Spike.

Until this episode, I never really realized had been so fabulously setup to play the role

of Adam's Wormtongue throughout the season.

The behavior modification chip was a form of operant conditioning, Walsh's specialty.

"You will inevitably break free again to savage the land."

Lo and behold Spike came to understand the destruction he could sow using just manipulation

in Doom:

"She's the Slayer.

You're her groupies."

Repeatedly, the gang makes the mistake of believing that since he can't kill anymore

he is no longer dangerous.

"Can't any of you remember that I'm EVIL."

The initiative Clockwork Orange'd Spike, but throughout the writer's have been telling

us that a leash doesn't change a person's essential nature.

The only thing that can do that is the person itself.

And the gang drifting apart a bit has been a common theme in the season.

Xander's fear of being useless to the group has explicit since The Zeppo

"It's my thing."

"Is this a penis metaphor.

Early on in Fear, Itself, that manifested as literal invisibility.

And Spike spent plenty of time in the Xand-man's basement to gain first hand knowledge of how

he was feeling.

The scene still feels a little awkward to me as the jump to Willow and Buffy were talking

about Xander joining the military was a bit of a stretch.

I get that it might've been a reference to Halloween but I think there was a cleaner

way of writing it as most of Spike's other manipulations are grounded and straightforward

but Xander hasn't mentioned signing up for the army once in the ensuing episodes.

In The Harsh Light of Day Buffy's fear of love leading to inevitable loss and isolation

(which started with Angel) was exacerbated by her experience with Parker.

And who was front and center to prod her fresh wound?

Spike: "So you let Parker take a poke eh?"

And in Fear, Itself Buffy finds herself alone and isolated with nothing but the monsters.

"They all ran away from you.

They always will.

Open your heart to someone and…"

In Pangs the Scoobies house was similarly divided against itself.

In A New Man, Giles ' feelings of lack of purpose which had been played for a few mid-life

crisis laughs manifested as him actually being a monster outside of the group.

With a little help from Ethan Rain of course.

"I refuse to become a monster just because I look like one.

Oh stop the car."

Spike had a front row seat for that one before using his knowledge on Giles here.

The show's association of magic and technology with feminine and masculine worked as a way

of foreshadowing Willow's insecurity with her burgeoning sexuality.

In Fear, Itself neither Buffy nor Oz have a lot of faith in Willow's magical abilities

which manifests for her as a spell that spins out of control.

Later in the series magic became the metaphor for actual intimacy between Tara and Willow.

Here Spike suggests that her relationship with Tara is the reason for her having grown

away from tech (metaphorically, the masculine) and why the gang has less faith in her.

As I mentioned in The I in Team, Spike is a manipulator, not a truth teller.

He is certainly perceptive but the words that come out of his mouth cater to his own ends,

always.

And not necessarily the truth.

But boy is he fun to watch.

And that's all the good stuff going on.

The unambiguous (and unfun) mirror to it all is the Initiative.

"The family is breaking apart."

But I think the season has been trying to say that the Initiative is a family in an

arbitrary sense.

Identity and association not born out of love from within but imposed upon its members by

society from the outside.

Colonel Von Not Walsh refers to the soldiers as boys:

"Boy thinks too much."

"These are good boys."

Walsh from Hush: Riley...be a good boy.

The theme here is that free thought is a necessity of adulthood and institutionalized identity

robs us of that.

In that shot from The I in Team which I love, with Buffy in a sea of Mao-Suits she is the

only one who again and again raises her hand and questions Walsh's conclusions.

As I said at the beginning, it's a solid episode as it's mostly focused on characters

we already love and care about.

Watching Spike do his thing is a ton of fun.

The episode is absolutely hilarious.

Wow.

I get why the demons fall inline with you.

You're like Tony Robbins.

If he was a big scary Frankenstein looking...you're exactly like Tony Robbins.

Drunk Giles is a joy.

And I enjoy a lot of the structure to this one.

The editing is terrific, including the way the conversations layer into each other.

*OPENING "She's just a girl."

"No I'm telling you she's a lot more than that."

Season 4 has struggled mightily with it's arc.

Much of it due to cast departures but there have been some other underlying problems which

I'll get into with the next episode.

But the one thing the season has never lacked for, and The Yoko Factor has loads of it,

is charm.

event

there will be time links in the about section below

so if you want to skip over some parts you can, but lets get to it!

undaunted! We Are Undaunted!

The Undaunted Celebration WIll begin Thursday

November 29th

At 10 AMEST and run until Wednesday December 5th at 10am EST

You will need to be combat level 10

In order to participate in this event

as it requires you to use the dungeon

finder tool to complete

either veteran or normal

dungeons

if you are below level 10

a little lock will appear

on the dungeon finder

once you are 10

hit P on PC

and this will take you into

the group & activity finder

finder

if you are new to this

The first thing you are going

to need to do is select

a roll

each group must contain

a healer, a tank, and two dps

before the activity finder

will put a group together

if you're using the group

finder with a full group

before it will

allow you to queue

you must also make sure

the proper group composition

of one tank one healer

and two dps

is selected amongst you

or it will not allow you to queue

select the roll you

wish to play and then click on dungeon finder

here at the top there is a drop down

for either random normal

or random veteran or specific dungeon

in order to get the rewards

you will have to do a random.

you will need to select one of these before

queueing

if you are below level 50

you will not even see the veteran

as you see here doing one random dungeon

a day will give you

some bonus rewards called premium undaunted

exploration supplies which will be

mailed to you upon completion of the dungeon

and a big chunk of xp.

you complete the dungeon and get the rewards

by defeating the last boss in the dungeon

the group finder selects for you

for the undaunted celebration

along with these daily completion rewards

you will also receive a mysterious reward box

as part of those rewards

these boxes have the chance to contain

some awesome items such as collectibles

style pages

costumes, pets mounts

and in some rarer cases, homes!

there is even a jackpot prize

where one lucky winner will open their box and receive

150 mounts all at once!

these boxes can be collected

per character and are on a 20 hour reset cooldown

so you will be able to collect additional boxes

20 hours after collecting your last one on each character

along with the extra rewards you can collect your

event tickets for the indrik mount!

on the exclamation point in the upper right hand corner.

you will get three event tickets per day

per account after

completing your first random dungeon

unlike the reward boxes, you cannot collect three tickets

on each character you can only receive three max per day

per account

so with your first dungeon completion you will receive

the three tickets the tickets are also on

20 hour cooldown

from the last time your account received them

you will need 10 event tickets

to buy the unique indrik feather

for this event and during this time you can also purchase

any feathers from the previous two events you may have missed out on

while you are doing the dungeons for this event

if you havent joined the undaunted guild yet

you should do so

to join the undaunted you will have to travel to

your capital city of either vulkhel guard, davons watch or daggerfall depending on your alliance

if you are a newer player and forgot which alliance you chose

simply hit C go to your character sheet in the upper left hand corner

you will see your name and a alliance symbol hover your mouse over that symbol

to remind yourself what faction you chose

for ebonheart pact you will need to find kaistig the axe in fish stink tavern

located in davon's watch

for aldmeri dominion you will need to find turuk red claws

in the salted wings tavern located here in vulkhel guard

and for daggerfall

covenant you will need to find might mordra in the rosy lion inn in daggerfall

simply accepting their quest will unlock the undaunted skill tree

the quest they give you is pretty simple they will ask you to prove your worthby traveling to a dungeon

all you have to do is walk in the front door of the dungeon

to advance the quest go back to the quest giver to become initiated and become

one of the undaunted

you will be able to buy the first skill but unlike other skill

trees you cannot advance the tree by having the skill slotted on your bar

should you slot and undaunted skill on your bar you will only advance that skill

in order to gain experience and gain levels in the undaunted you have to complete dungeon achievement

and undaunted pledges

undaunted pledges do not unlock until level 45

now this is a long haul but if you're going to be doing these dungeons

for the event you might as well be earning experience

for the undaunted along the way as you will get achievements for completing

dungeons for the first time

as you can see here on this brand new character i got 30 undaunted points just by completing my first dungeon

because I got two achievements along the way

Emhyr (Power) Witchers - Gwent in-depth guide for Homecoming - Duration: 19:16.

Hi everyone,

last week I was playing a lot of Emyr Witchers because I underestimated the amount of synergy

and the amount of choice you have when playing this deck.

You can adapt to a lot of different situations quickly while the Ciri's enable you to get

card advantage over your opponent.

We'll discuss: The defining cards and the synergies of the

deck How to approach the Mulligan

Your gameplan and passing strategy A quick matchup analysis

And then we look at an example match

Let's go!

The deck is called Witcher Power for a reason: It features 11 Witchers and the decks thinning

allows us to play almost all of them.

Two cards benefit a lot from Witchers: Vesimir: Mentor and Ivo of Belhaven

Vesimir buffs all Witchers in deck, hand and board by one and through Emyr we are able

to double play him for a ton of value, boosting your Witcher Trio by 50%.

Having buffed units in your deck also helps the ability of Recruit, who reveals 1 card

of your and your enemy's deck and buffs itself by 2 if yours is the higher one.

Revealing a witcher buffed by 2 typically activates this ability.

Playing Ivo on the Melee row enables his Order ability, which deals 2 damage to an enemy.

However, he gets 1 charge whenever is Witcher is played, so he has a lot of damage potential,

thanks to the many Witchers in our deck.

My two favourite Witchers are Ciri and Ciri: Dash.

Ciri goes back to your hand if you lost a round and Ciri: Dash will draw you a card

after 4 turns have passed.

Utilising both cards at the right time, you are able to generate big card advantage.

Ciri is best played when she gets you ahead point wise, so the enemy is only left with

two choices: Passing and letting you win the round or playing

more and therefore giving you the card advantage?

Ciri: Dash is best played after you baited out some locks or removal with other cards

like Magne Division, Nauzicaa Sergeant or even Ivo.

Then we have the Witcher Duo of Serrit and Auckes, which get additional effects when

you have the other one in your hand.

Serrit deals 3 damage to an enemy, but with auckes, in your hand, the ability will upgrade

to 5 damage.

And 5 damage with a 5 point body, which is maybe boosted by 2 through vesimir) is quite

a tempo play with the ability to deny an engine.

Auckes, on the other hand, locks an enemy, and if you have serrit on your hand, then

it will lock the unit and all its copies in deck or hand.

This may come useful against Revenants for example.

Geralt of Rivia destroys an enemy with more than 8 power, which is typically our finisher

play against most decks.

Having last say enables Geralt to find the best target guaranteed.

Then we have of Roach for additional thinning, but my favourite card in the deck is Letho:

Kingslayer.

Letho copies the effects of any card on the battlefield, while he keeps his power.

My favourite way to use Letho is to copy Ciri: Dash to draw 2 cards in round 3 to get double

last say.

In some matches, you can also play Letho on Ciri for additional available cards in round

3.

Typically you want to do this when you are in control of round 2, and you are able to

bleed your enemy.

Depending on how the match goes, you may also want to copy Ivo, and I have also won some

games by copying Nauzicaa Sergeant and utilising a lot of deploy effects afterwards.

Since he is the most flexible card in the deck, assert the current situation and play

him on the card that will give you the most value.

Bronze Wise we want to integrate Locks through Alba Armored Cavalry and some Removal through

Alba Spearman, which deals additional damage if placed between soldiers.

We also use our Bronze Cards to bait out removals, so our Ciri's or Ivo have it easier to stick

to the board.

Perfect for baiting are cards like Magne Division and Nauzicaa Sergeant.

Magne Division buffs itself by 1 every turn it is alone on a row, and Nauzicaa Sergeant

gets buffed by one, everytime you play a Deploy Ability.

Both cards have the potential to grow big, so the enemy is tempted to use their removal

or locks on them instead of your golds that you keep for later.

Spotters are filler cards to fill the remaining 4 point provision slots and depending on the

enemy deck they either get a lot or not a lot of value.

They reveal a card in the enemy deck and buff themselves by its power so typically their

value is around 4 with the chance for a jackpot in the form of revealing Old Speartip or Tibor.

Last but not least we have Rot Tosser, which is another favourite card of mine.

Playing Rot Tosser on the ranged row enables you to throw a cow carcass unit at the enemy

board, and you are in total control where to place it.

After the enemies next turn the unit to its right will be destroyed together with the

carcass, so in an ideal match, the enemy wants to try to place a low power unit next to it.

However, if you have last say by winning round 1 or through the ciri cards, then the enemy

can't do anything against the rot tosser, and you have a bronze card that can destroy

the biggest unit on the enemy's side of the board.

Let's look at the mulligan:

As always you want to keep most of you mulligans for later when you thinned the deck, but you

want to assure that you don't have roach or more than 1 Witcher on your hand.

It's good to have Royal Decree or Vesimir to buff up all your Witchers, 1 of the Witcher

Trio, as many golds as possible, but also Nauzicaa Brigade or Magne Division for value

or to bait the removal.

Cards you are able to mulligan away without big thinking are Spotter, Spearman and Recruit,

depending on the enemy deck you also may not need Alba Armored Cavalry.

The general gameplan would look like this: If you have Magne Division, then always start

the round with it, to get the most value and to pressure your enemy to use locks or damage

to get rid of it.

Then play Nauzuicaa Sergeant into the other row, before you open with your Witchers cards.

We try to win round 1 at nearly all cost, except the enemy outtempos us significantly.

If we are sure that we won't win the round anymore, then we can use Ciri to either force

the enemy to pass or to get us an extra card for round 2.

It's good to play Vesimir already in this round and use Emyr to get the doubled effects.

If you only draw him in a short round 3, then choose if Emyr onto cards would give your

more value.

Geralt of Rivia is a very good Emyr as well for example.

In round 3 keep your finishers like Rot Tosser and Geralt of Rivia, make the best out of

cards like Ivo and utilise Ciri: Dash and Letho to play cards even after the enemy has

already passed.

Depending on the matchup, you want to go for a long round 3 or not, so let's quickly look

at the most popular decks at the moment and what strategy you could apply against them!

Woodland Giants They have insane value in a short round 3,

so go for a long one.

Keep cards like Geralt and Rot Tosser as your finisher in round 3 and make the best of your

engines like Nauzicaa Sergeant and Magne Division, since they run no removal.

Your enemy has nearly no way to interact with your side of the board so you should be able

to utilise your Ciri's and Letho.

Elf Control The longer a round, the better they get, so

winning round 1 against them and then bleeding them into a short round 3 is critical.

Sadly they have a lot of control to deal with your Ciris, so baiting removal with your bronzes

is a good thing to do so you can end your round 2 with a ciri drop.

Just try to evade Regis, Scorch, Wolfbane and Geralt: Professional as much as possible

and do your best, since this deck is not an easy one to beat.

Wild Boar SK Like Elf Control, this one will be quite a

challenge, because it really excels in long rounds thanks to Wild Boar of the Sea and

Wolfsbane.

Try to split their rounds into equal semi short ones, so they can't generate that much

value.

Having your units boosted through Vesimir will also help to avoid their Bloodthirst

or Wild Boar of the Sea to trigger!

Woodland Control This deck has a significant weakness.

If Woodland Control is not able to play the last card, then you typically have an easy

win.

Therefore try to win round 1 and then bleed the deck to death in round 2.

After Epidemics and Predatory Dive are played, and you have baited as much as removal as

possible, you can try to establish your Ciri's.

However, most of your units won'T stay on the board, and typically it is all about,

who has the last biggest play.

Assault Foltest Try to deny their Commando Setup by killing

them off or locking them.

If Draug turns all of them into Revenants, it is a good idea to have Auckes ready, while

Serrit is still in your hand to lock all of them at once and deny their whole gameplan.

Beware that this deck can spit a lot of damage, so try to bait that out before you play your

Ciri's.

Try to split the rounds and beware of row stacking too much!

Why you need a "Design Guide" to manufacture a product! - Duration: 10:05.

if you're new to my channel are new to this series we are designing a backpack

hanger we 3d printed it after we built it in CAD previous to that we made a

matte board mock-up and did a marker rendering of course to start it all out

but before that we ideated and sketched a simple 2 by 4 version now we're trying

to find a manufacturer my name is Eric Strebel I'm an industrial designer

welcome to my channel about product design and making I hope that you like

it that way you'll be notified every time I have a new video don't forget to

the information that you need to pull together to give to a manufacturer to

get something made I call this a design guide what is a design guide you say

some people call it other things but this is what I refer to as the

documentation that you give to a manufacturer to have your thing made so

this design guide is gonna serve as the basis for the manufacturer to make

something to the way that you designed it and you don't want them to make it in

some sort of random fashion or some way that you don't want you very

specifically want them to manufacture something to your specifications let's

say your dimensions your size your finish color all that stuff needs to be

specified out to the manufacturer so that they can provide you a quote for

the volume of parts that you need whether it's a hundred thousand a

million a hundred million it doesn't matter

you need to provide them a guide these are probably things that they didn't

teach you in school but I'm gonna share with you it's part of the normal design

process to get something manufactured so we started out by capturing some basic

images next we're gonna go in here and in this case it's a flat pattern so

we're gonna create a drawing or and/or a Bend table so this will allow the

manufacturer in this case to know how to bend up the sheet metal part which is

what this is and it's gonna tell him the angle of the bends and how many bends

there are and where those bends are located so of course every product that

you design is going to have slightly different manufacturing criteria or

processes that they use in this case it's a metal or a sheet metal part that

is bent to our specifications

so while we're at it we're just gonna add some very basic dimensions so that

when they look at this thing they know roughly how much sheetmetal they're

gonna need for each part I'm not going to fully dimension this out because they

can get this information from the DXF file which is the pattern that they use

to cut out the piece width and they're also gonna get a step file ultimately

which is a 3d model so if you don't get it I don't like doing drawings it's kind

of dumb I built the whole thing in the computer why should I go and make

dimensional drawings something is going to be cut out via a computer anyway so

I'm not gonna spend my time doing all these dimensions and yes there are

instances when you do need to do these things fully dimensioned people don't

have the equipment or the technologies to do it or whatever but in this case a

sheet metal part and it should be pretty straightforward for them to grab the

dimensions off the step file which we're creating right here so so far we've

created some simple screen grabs we've created a DXF file we've created a bent

table and a drawing with some basic dimensions and we've created this step

file which should have all the dimensions in it that they need next

we're gonna create this design guide from the screen grabs that we did in the

very beginning and we're going to add some notes here so we're gonna give this

thing a title the name of the product we're gonna put a date on it and we're

gonna add basic information in here

so I think the most important thing for this product is the type of material in

this case we're gonna be using eighth inch or three millimeter aluminum that's

what I designed for that's the thickness of the material that I would like the

manufacturer to work with so that they can make it to my specification I do

believe that it's gonna be water jet cut I suppose it could be laser cut but from

my experience I think laser cutting is not appropriate for cutting aluminum

I've also noted that I wish it to have an anodized finish this will allow me to

do the same part relatively cost-effectively in different colors

I'm also labeling the different views so that they know what it is that they're

looking at I have a front view and then I have a back bottom view I think it's

also important to note that some machining is gonna potentially be

required for this product I think that we're going to need to machine out the

countersinks for the screw holes here so I note that on the drawing as well so

that way when the manufacturer looks at it for the first time they can say oh

some machining may be involved in addition to bending this part I also

note that I want the corners to be softened a little bit and that can be

done in a multitude of ways maybe the part is tumbled maybe the part is routed

after it's cut out the manufacturer may have different methods or options at

their disposal and I'm open to that and so I'm just making some adjustments here

making the layout on the page read a little bit better so that things aren't

too cramped and that's easily viewable and this is just basic presentation it's

something that you probably learned in school industrial design school just for

making nice presentation so that people can quickly and easily read the

information and know what it is that they're dealing with

all right so now that we have some basic information put together we need to find

a manufacturer I already have probably about a dozen manufacturers that I have

reached out to but we're gonna use an online resource as well that I've never

used before but I have known about for quite some time it's called MFG comm so

this is a place where you can go to find a manufacturer and submit this package

of information that we've put together we take all those files that we've

created including a nice rendering and we zip that up and then we're gonna

upload that onto MFG comm along with our specifications for the project based on

what it is they want us to fill out and then that gets sent out to manufacturers

that are paying customers actually on MFG comm to take a look at your package

and come back and give you a quote so I said I haven't used this manufacturing

service yet but so far it's been pretty decent I submitted my quote I was

assigned a representative I spoke with that representative on the phone they

were able to answer some basic questions for me they assigned material and a

category to help me zero in and hopefully find a manufacturer and start

getting some quotes I haven't gotten any quotes yet I picked my date range I pick

the volume and the quantity and the location of the manufacturers around the

globe that I would like to bid on this project kind of what you're looking for

in a one-stop shopping place and so we'll see how this works out on MFG comm

all right like I said I have about a list of a dozen or so other

manufacturers that I've already submitted this product to and they are

starting to pull quotes together for me so in the next couple of weeks we'll see

what comes back in terms of numbers getting a prototype made that sort of

thing so we can continue on with this project

and I'll keep you updated as things start rolling in and things move forward

the next thing is going to be some sort of an actual metal prototype don't
