a quick disclaimer I'm not against free workouts I love pre workouts me pre

birkhoff's has been going off for a while but we're just taking a break

right now all right yeah we're just trying to find ourselves so quite often

I get asked what's the best pre-workout what pre-record is gonna get into most

gains they seen in the magazines this pre-workout helped them to increase

their stamina and get one inch of their arms and 10 inches in their penis I

don't know guys all these career workouts are doing a lot of claims or

claiming a lot of claims you know what I'm saying so me personally I don't take

a pure workout it's been two or three months since I

took a pre workout what kind of pre recalled did it take I used to take back

when I first started working out I started taking something called no

Xplode then later on down the road I started taking c4 and then all these

other whatnot all these different brands and to be honest I took the brand that

looked the coolest in their packaging or whatever Instagram celebrity I felt like

was the epitome of fitness so I took whatever they were taking and it kind of

just shows you the marketing hype a lot of people just fall into the marketing

of the marketers or the fitness industry case in point I don't take a pre-workout

part of the reason why I don't take a pre-workout is because if you look in

the back of random puros this isn't really a prereq oh this is just amino

energy from optimal nutrition I kind of took this is a pre-recorded because it

has less caffeine per scoop than a traditional pre-workout but anyways guys

if you look in the ingredients usually one serving of a general pre-record has

around the caffeine content of two or three cups of coffee and on average I'm

taking around two scoops of pre-workout a day what in the morning before my

first workout and then one mid-afternoon before my second workout if I'm doing a

second workout I noticed that occasionally the days

that I don't take the pre-workout I would get a headache that is called

caffeine withdrawal a lot of people go through it a lot of people need their

caffeine just to operate in a normal way throughout the day because their body's

so reliant on caffeine did that make sense

also if you look in the back of some of the ingredients just like random

chemicals and all these letters something this one for

example this is a blue raspberry flavor right or blue lemonade and in the back

one degrees is blue one where am I gonna go and get some blue one I see nobody

ever says hey I'm cleaving some blue one today you know I'm saying

I just heart to think it's like what happens long-term if my body every day

twice a day I'm taking something that has chemicals that you can't find in

nature and it's just I'm sure long-term it's not gonna do my body well and I'm

at this stage in my life where I just care about longevity baby you know I'm

saying long jeopardy oh yeah I stopped taking pre-workout and I switched to

coffee this is my thing now guys coffee I'm all about that mmm YUM I stopped

taking pre-workout for three months and I switched to coffee those who know me

I'm actually doing the whole bulletproof coffee thing and I take it twice a day

and it has a significant less amount of caffeine a lot less chemicals and it's

fun to do I feel like I'm a middle-aged blonde girl drinking pumpkin spice every

time I drink coffee I'm just kidding I don't feel like that but every time I do

make coffee I feel great because I'm saving a lot of money and there's

polyphenols in coffee that is just good for your overall body function and while

I make my coffee I like it because it's almost meditative I get to take some

time out of the day brew the coffee enjoy a podcast get to you know just

meditate on your breath and just just find yourself you don't I mean you just

get to find yourself get ready for before your workouts and just do the day

right you know what I mean but when I do pre-workout I like doing it just man I'm

just walking in the kitchen like a bro shaking up my bottle of protein or my

Paula pre-record and just jam it on some rock music in my headphones I'm just

kidding that's just a stereotype it's a lot better for you overall as compared

to something full of chemicals and unneeded ingredients here's the thing

here's the thing guys all right one thing you need to notice when I stick to

coffee as mercury workout I have energy I have a clean steady energy before my

workout and during my workout even after my workout it's a steady

when I take a pre-workout for example when I take it I feel high you know what

I mean like I feel high but that's only for like a week of taking a pre-workout

the next week afterwards I have to increase my dosage of pre-workout in

order for me to feel those effects again it's like it's like a it's like a drunk

I feel like pre-record is almost like a drug like cocaine or something when you

take it you need more of it later on to feel the same effects that you did a

week ago or a week before or whatever but say for example if I'm totally

totally tired and unmotivated this sure I probably take a pre-workout right

there and then just get a bomb mass murder call it and then go back to

coffee the next day where I just need natural steady energy you know I'm

saying I hope this video made sense a super long video thanks for watching

MUST-TRY Coconut Coffee Smoothie & Yogurt Coffee at Cộng Cafe, Hanoi | VIETNAMESE FOOD - Duration: 8:40.

Hey good afternoon everyone, it's Cory here.

I am in a Cộng Cafe, this is very close to my house.

You've probably seen this in my Instagram photos, and on Facebook, where I shared these photos

about this really cool cafe.

Now, Cộng Cafe is a chain here in Hanoi, you can kind of see them around the country of Vietnam.

There are some in different cities but most of them are here in Hanoi.

And so I wanted to share with you two drinks that I like to drink at this cafe.

The first one is coconut coffee smoothie.

And the second one is a sour yogurt coffee.

That's right, there's yogurt and coffee mixed in this one.

We're going to go ahead and get loaded up on caffeine today. We're going to try both of these for you guys.

And just kind of show you what they look like, and talk about how they taste.

So before these things start melting a little bit, I kind of wanted to talk about the cafe itself.

This is kind of like a Communist-themed cafe.

"Cộng" is part of the name of the actual country, the "Socialist Republic of Vietnam."

So some people will debate if it means "communist" or not, but more or less, it does kind of mean "communist."

The theme is basically from between the 1950's to the 1980's, you could find a lot of vintage style of decor

and furniture inside of people's homes and different places around Vietnam.

So it's kind of like a retro, communist-chic, vintage throwback style cafe.

And they're really cool, they're very nice, and they have some really good drinks.

They have some really good stuff on the menu as well. There's all kinds of different drinks,

fruit drinks, fruit smoothies, teas, coffees, and especially the famous coconut coffee smoothie

and the yogurt coffee. So first, let's look at this.

Can you see this guys?

This is a wonderful glass of Vietnamese coffee mixed with this huge dollop of coconut smoothie.

Oooh my god, it's going everywhere!

This is made from real coconut milk.

And you can even taste some pieces of coconut, sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes.

Right now I just had a piece of coconut.

Mmmmm

The bitterness of the coffee really matches well with the sweetness of the coconut. But it's subtle, you know it's not like sugar.

Ooooh

My god, this beats any kind of dairy creamer.

Any day.

And let's go ahead and take a good sip of this.

It's just so nice. This is a refreshing beverage, just like any kind of frozen smoothie.

So you could have this for breakfast, this could be like your wake-me-up drink.

This could be just like mid-day during lunch time, or after lunch.

Or like right now, it's about 3:30pm, and I'm just kind of chilling around my area, and I wanted to make this video for you guys.

Ooooh

You have to be careful, though. It's so good, you want to just eat it and drink it so fast.

But then you'll end up giving yourself a brain freeze.

Mmmmm mmmmm

Now I usually don't get both of these drinks at the same time, it's only this drink or this drink, just by itself.

But for the sake of the video, I decided to get my two favorite drinks.

Next up, is the yogurt.

The yogurt coffee.

So you can see the froth from when they poured in the freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee.

And there's chunks of ice in here as well, to keep it nice and cold.

The white stuff is not coconut, it is actually yogurt.

So in Vietnamese, this is called "Sữa chua cà phê."

So "cà phê" is just "coffee" but "chua", in the name of this,

it actually means "sour." So this yogurt is not liek your Yoplaits or whatever, that are like full of sugar.

This is like a sour yogurt, the only thing that I can kind of compare it to is like Greek yogurt.

You know, something that doesn't have a lot of sugar (or sweetness) and is kind of sour.

You can eat this like this, with a spoon, you can mix it up,

or whatever, however you want to do it. You want to drink it through a straw, that's kind of how I like to do it.

You can see the yogurt in there, with the coffee sitting on top, it hasn't mixed yet.

It's such a beautiful color. The dark brown of the coffee and the pure white of the yogurt.

And it's just so cool how it kind of like bleeds into each other.

The coconut coffee smoothie has already kind of blended together,

but you can still see there's a huge chunk of the coconut smoothie on the bottom.

I'm going to try to get some piece of yogurt.

Oh yeah, I think that's a good one right there.

Mmmmm

I just have no words right now, to explain this. It's so good!

Actually, I'm going to drink it with the straw so I don't get too much of the ice chunks.

I don't want to just eat ice, you know?

Mmmm!

So they're both very similar, you know, with the Vietnamese coffee.

It's just that one has coconut smoothie, frozen smoothie.

And then this one has the yogurt.

So even though they're very similar the tastes are super different, very distinct.

And like when this one mixes together, like... I can't even... it's just... ahhhh

Loss of words right now... Very heavenly.

And the same with this one, but in a different kind of way.

Like, I don't know. I love the sourness of this yogurt.

So if you wanted to make this at home, I know theres recipes online.

So if you just Google about "yogurt coffee recipe" you're going to find some pretty good stuff.

I think it just uses plain yogurt and then like an espresso, or something like that.

And you just mix it together with some ice, and you're good to go.

I'm a happy guy right now.

Alright, let's switch back to the coconut smoothie.

Yeahhhhh, look at that.

Look at that!

Hoooo... that's a big one, big piece!

The cool thing I want to mention about these cafes, there's a lot of them in this city, there's at least

20 I think, in Hanoi itself.

And every single one of them is nicely decorated inside with the themes that I was talking about earlier.

They're all really unique.

Like this one is completely different from the other ones. They're all different sizes.

This one is actually pretty big, inside on the 1st floor,

there's all kinds of old retro sofas with the cool flower patterns and stuff, very colorful.

There are pictures of various Communist leaders, like Ho Chi Minh, and Che, and Lenin and stuff.

So you get a kind of like old retro, 1950's/1960's kind of vibe.

And what's cool, too, is the staff, they're wearing this kind of like olive green military-esque, drab colored uniform.

And they have like an Army hat, a solider hat, but it's always backwards.

So it's kind of cool. I don't know, it's just really interesting.

And I can see why this cafe is just so popular.

Actually, it's so popular that they opened one of these in Seoul, Korea, about 2 or 3 months ago.

If you're ever in Seoul, you can check it out. I think it's in Yeonnam-dong (연남동), I'm not sure.

But I'll have that info in the description box down below.

And if you're in Hanoi, you can also check the link down below for the actual website, they have it in English.

And I just want to say that if you're in Vietnam, and you're kind of like not sure where the Cộng Cafe is

and you somehow cannot find one, which would be kind of weird, but if you couldn't find one at all

there's a lot of cafes all around Vietnam that actually sell both of these drinks. So you know, you don't

necessarily have to come to a Cộng Cafe.

But I like to come here, you should try it out at least once, just to say you've been there.

Really cool, lot of nice interior design and stuff.

So I hope you enjoyed this video, I'm going to go ahead and finish this.

If you want to find out where this specific cafe near my house is, check the description box down below.

Plus all the links about the Cộng Cafe website and the address of the one that's in Seoul.

Ahhhhhh

See you guys later, bye!

Candidates & Coffee with State Senator David Bradley - Duration: 6:48.

- I am sitting here with David Bradley,

who is the State Senator from Arizona District 10.

Thank you for joining us today.

- My pleasure.

- What would you say to young people

that feel totally frustrated and disenfranchised

with the partisanship within government and the media?

- When people tell me I don't engage in politics,

and my response to them is, do you have any friends?

Have you ever been to school?

Do you ever go to work?

If you answered yes to any of that, you are in politics.

Being a legislator is being the connector

between people and the operation

of the government at the state level,

communicating to the folks who elect me.

I represent about 120, or excuse me, 220,000 people,

to let them know how their state is functioning.

When I was a young boy, my father ran for office

and lost by ten votes,

so politics has always been in the background for me.

My profession is child welfare

and behavioral health services,

so as a function of being involved at all levels of that,

I interface with government at many levels,

particularly at the state level.

The oversight piece is what the legislature needs to do.

We spend somewhere around $30 billion dollars

of both state tax and federal tax monies.

The insight is really trying to understand

how things connect.

If I asked you, gee, what was the leading cause

of absenteeism in school, you might kind of struggle

with different things, but the answer is tooth decay.

- Tooth decay?

- Tooth decay.

Now how does this child,

whose main issue is an oral health problem,

ends up missing a lot of school,

ends up getting connected to some folks

that are probably maybe not doing some great things,

ends up in the juvenile justice system,

ends up in the adult system?

And what was the cause of it all?

It was oral health.

Our Medicaid system permits kids to be engaged

to receive oral health services,

but what we'd like to do

is get more oral health resources in the schools.

- What are the most pressing issues

for your constituents in District 10?

- Reforming our taxes and the way we generate

revenue in this state.

Under every problem, or every issue

is the resources of the state.

It stands to reason that we look at more ways

or different ways to ensure that the state has the resources

to do the things it's gonna need to do.

- Could you tell us about a notable time

there was bipartisan effort to make something pass?

- The Medicaid expansion in Arizona was a big issue

about five years ago, and we needed folks

from both sides of the aisle to make that happen.

The governor, at that time, forwarded to her own party

to get that through.

I had a bill a couple years ago that added KidsCare.

We had KidsCare in the state,

and we were the only state in the Union not to have it

for five or six years.

The bill that I helped sponsor was reinstated.

- You were part of the Arizona House of Representatives?

- Yes, we kind of jokingly say that

the House is the playground and the Senate's the library.

(chuckling)

Usually, they have people start their careers in the House.

There's a lot of uproar and a lot of noise

that comes out of the House.

In the Senate, 27 of us or so have served

together in the House, something like that.

- Can you give us a specific example of the way

that you fought for women?

- My first four elections that I worked on

were all women candidates.

That's how I kind of got my feet wet in politics,

a big part of my political

awareness of the issues

relative to women and having a daughter.

Oddly enough, Arizona, I think, has more women legislators

percentage-wise than any other state in the Union.

I think that's true.

I think the biggest issue in Arizona

was the whole funding of teacher pay

and the Red for Ed movement,

which was paid national attention.

Teachers went on strike for a week or so

to get the governor's attention to change his mind

from 2% to 20% over a period of time.

- What is a bill that you have written, sponsored,

or cosponsored that you feel the most proud of?

- I've had the only anti-bullying bill

ever signed into law in the state.

Again, it's an issue that reverberates

through society in many ways,

whether it's domestic violence,

and what do we know about the mass shooters in our society?

If you follow the trail backwards, we're gonna find

somebody was bullied or bullying or something as a factor.

If you and I were to go to the state prison

and have the entire audience of 48,000 prisoners,

and we said, raise your hand if you were bullied.

We'd get about 90% of the hands would go up.

Again, it's just getting in front of problems.

I've tried to make that a hallmark of what I've

tried to do over the years.

That's just one example

of something that can have a longterm effect.

At some point, we have to stop screaming at one another,

touch both extremes at once and bridge differences.

You can't do that unless you're willing to listen.

My orientation towards things is,

look through the eyes of children.

Most people, when they see...

There's the expression, it takes a village to raise a child.

My thought is, it takes a child to raise the village.

You've gotta find common ground.

You can't argue unless you first agree.

I listen to more Lady Gaga (laughs).

- Really? She's fantastic.

- She's my hero.

- Yeah?

- What I admire about her is that

her ability to see through things.

Looking into the future, it's really a function of distance.

A prophet is somebody who can look forward,

look through and see how things are going to be.

There's common ground for us to focus on

in order to build a better future for those who follow

'cause that's what this is all about.

I have eight grandchildren (laughs).

It seems like yesterday, I was playing catch

in the backyard with my father.

But it's long gone, in many ways.

My time will be up in short order,

and so, we gotta build for the future.

We gotta do what's best for those who follow.

- Rapid fire.

What is the last TV show that you've been to watch?

- Shameless.

- It's a great show!

Who is a candidate that is currently running

that you are inspired by.

- Probably, Kamala Harris.

- Who is your favorite president, alive or dead?

- President Kennedy.

It was the looking forward, you know,

we're gonna put a man on the moon kind of mentality.

It's really, no matter what the odds are, no matter,

it doesn't make any sense to do this, but we're gonna go.

His message still resonates today in terms of,

"Ask not what your country can do for you,

"but what you can do for your country?"

So, that's really what it's all about.

We gotta take care of one another.

- Such a pleasure talking to you.

- All right? Thank you. - Thank you for (mumbles) us.

(chuckling)

- All right, my pleasure.

All right, thanks.

Why do you think so?

If you have too much cholesterol...

...a swollen head comes along with it

- Anyway, I'm Sandhya - Saravanan!

Saravanan?

Why do you sound disgusted by my name?

It's okay! Common name

More than all of these, I like 'kisskiss'

- 'Kisskiss' - You know? Gossip!

Who ran away with whom! Who left whom for whom

Wife smashed husband's head for cheating on her

The teacher that ran away with the student

"I'm not my normal self today"

"I'm asking why it is so"

"Days without you were futile, I feel"

"I'm not my normal self today"

"I'm asking why it is so"

"Days without you were futile, I feel"

"No clouds No drizzles"

"Yet I am fully drenched"

"Life sways in wind like a dropping root"

"No words No sounds"

"Yet I sang, I sang"

"It's heavenly in part and hellish in part"

"I learnt to tell lies but was not bothered"

"Today I didn't talk as I did in the past"

"I learnt to tell lies but was not bothered"

"I adjust my upper garments"

"Why this magic?"

"I go to sleep as if I'm going to a battle field"

"I close my eyes as a routine"

"But I keep doing something else"

"Today I'm going to a lonely island"

"Yet I hear some music"

"No words No sounds"

"Yet I sang, I sang"

"It's heavenly in part and hellish in part"

"I walked like a boy who lost his way and Alien to the language"

"Gosh! What's this?"

"Is this the one!"

"Not able to identify I stood baffled"

"Days pass by as just another day gone for me"

"It's a holistic change"

"A change that's different!"

"No words No sounds"

"Yet I sang, I sang"

"It's heavenly in part and hellish in part"

Stop, stop! Look at that!

- What happened? - It's hurt...so sad!

- Give me a handkerchief - Why?

- Quickly! - I don't have one

Give it to me!

Hey! What are you doing? It cost 100 rupees!

Branded one

- It's okay - You lucky dog!

I don't know whose dog this is But it's hurt

She's pretty fast!

- What do we do with this? - Pets aren't allowed in my hostel

Why don't you keep him at your place?
