Garyvee: Hey guys, it's Garyvee.

Neel and Arjun and I are just chopping it up.

The Nevada and San Francisco markets need to listen to this.

Neel: We're here in Miami for the annual Agent 2021 Conference.

Announcer: Please welcome to the stage the CEO of VaynerX, Gary Vaynerchuk.

Neel: The reason why I flew all the way out here from Nevada is a lot of the conferences

and marketing seminars and all those things that you read about, they're all at a high

level.

They kinda tell you what to do, but don't really get into the practical nitty-gritty.

And this particular conference is about building your personal brand and actually content strategies

that are actually working in today's climate.

Neel: Currently, in real estate, mortgage, or whatever business you're in, I think we're

currently at a crossroads where the market's been so good for so many years.

Before, you could get away with being kinda passive and not really having an identity

or a strategy for content on social media and video and all these types of things, but

I think now we're at the point in the market where if you don't have a strategy to differentiate

yourself from this kinda sea of vanilla, is how I put it, you're going to just blend in,

and you're gonna struggle.

Speaker 4: A 90 plus percent, maybe 95, comes from people that have seen my social media

that are in my sphere, that were cold that I warmed up.

Neel: Arjun just got here.

We're headed downstairs to the VIP dinner to meet some of the attendees, and also Gary's

gonna speak.

And yeah, it should be a good time.

Let's check it out.

Neel: One of the cool things about the event today was that I've been to other kind of

VIP events where there's been sales people, authors, famous celebrities, whatever you

wanna say, and they don't take the time to meet with you.

You're basically there at a event, and you're basically paying to be in the same room.

But in this case, Gary actually took the time to sit with each one of us, which was actually

pretty cool.

That's almost unheard of.

He took probably three hours of his time just sitting down with each table, talked to everybody.

Arjun: He's still in there.

Neel: Yeah, it's just crazy.

Arjun: [crosstalk 00:02:48] He's got more tables to visit.

Neel: So I think that was a ... I mean, that just shows how much he cares about his audience

and the attendees and the people who paid to be here.

Neel: I just woke up.

It is 6:30 AM here, which is 3:30 my time.

That's early.

I'm just gonna get ready here and head over to the conference.

We're meeting the guys downstairs at 7:15, and gonna head over there.

So it should be an awesome day.

I just gotta wake up.

Neel: (singing)

Speaker 6: Just put stuff out there.

You never know when that connection is gonna be made.

Neel: So we are about halfway done with the morning sessions, just finished the morning

sessions.

To be honest, the morning was kind of like a 101-type content, but it was still ... there

were some little nuggets of value still.

So I'm really looking forward to the afternoon sessions because that's when the content gets

more advanced, and we're getting into more of the kinda nitty-gritty and the advanced

content that ... why myself and many other people came to this event.

Neel: To be honest, right now I'm really looking forward to lunch because I'm starving.

I didn't have no food yet.

So we've just had a bunch of coffee.

Garyvee: Why don't you put a billboard that says, "Every other real estate agent sucks,"

and wear that awesome shirt that you're wearing now, and that will convert way better.

Neel: Yeah, yeah.

Garyvee: Even though some people will hate that you said sucks.

Neel: Be you, yeah.

Garyvee: I know what every single banking and lawyer outdoor billboard looks like.

It is a person in a suit with a tacky phone number.

Arjun: Yeah.

Neel: Yeah.

Garyvee: Can't break through.

Neel: We just got done with our private interview with Gary.

Arjun: And it was awesome.

Obviously, he's so generous with his time.

We were able to get 10 private minutes with him, talking to him about marketing to millennials,

how technology is affecting both the real estate and mortgage industry, how to position

ourselves better to win it.

Even through us a nice shout out, too, which was awesome.

Neel: Yeah, it was a great experience.

So we're gonna head in for the final keynote.

Garyvee: That's actually $10,000.

He goes, "Oh, good point.

Let's send them."

I go, "Fuck!"

Yes, you should raise your price.

Garyvee: The people here that aren't effective on Facebook

right now, it's your content sucks shit.

Neel: So we just got back to the hotel after a full day at Agent 2021.

It was a great day overall.

I think the morning sessions were more of a 101-type class; a lot of introductory content,

but it was a good refresher.

And as the day got on, the content and the material got better and better.

But I think the overall theme was to have a strategy, a clear value proposition, and

to be putting out content, which everybody knows that they need to be doing, but just

gave us a little bit more idea on how to execute that strategy; long-form content versus short-form

content, where that content should be posted.

Neel: So I think those are my biggest takeaways from the event, but one of the themes I saw

overall was that at these conferences, and today was no exception, you get a lot of high-level

ideas.

So they're telling you, "This is what you should be doing.

This is what you need to be doing.

This is based on these overall themes in the market."

And the problem with that is yeah, I know I should be doing this, but how do I do it?

So I noticed a lot of the agents were there, and lenders were there with their notebooks

open, waiting to write down, "Okay, step one, step two," and their notebooks were empty.

So they kinda heard things that they agree with, but they just don't know how to execute

them.

Neel: So what I did, was walk around after each session and talk to the guys, the speakers,

and said, "Okay, practically, what did you mean by this?

What are you actually doing step by step?

Can you give me some tips?

Practical, like I know you like to do this ... You said to do this type of content.

Give me an example of that type of content."

So I took a lot of those notes, and over the next few weeks I'm going to be putting out

content that kind of goes over practical ideas in a simple format, 'cause I think simplicity

is what a lot of the attendees were looking for and didn't get.

Neel: So that's gonna be my focus going forward is to kind of bring this value back to the

agents and partners that I work with.

And yeah, just stay tuned for that.

If you liked the video today, hit that subscribe button.

And I will see you on the next one.

EU parliamentarians to back visa-free travel for... - Duration: 2:42.

AEuropean Parliament committee is expected to propose on Tuesday that Britons enjoy visa-free travel to Europe after Brexit, regardless of whether or not there is a 'deal' in place

EU visa exemptions cover short trips of up to three months and currently some 60 countries in the world benefit from the system from Argentina to Japan to Ukraine

It is mostly designed for business and tourism and does not cover the right to work in the EU

The committee's decision must then be endorsed by the full parliament next month, which is also likely as other EU institutions have backed a move to relaxed visa requirements for Britain after Brexit, provided London reciprocates

The parliamentary notion covers both a scenario under which Prime Minister Theresa May breaks the deadlock at home and manages to get the divorce deal she had negotiated with the EU ratified in the UK parliament, as well as a no-deal Brexit

It will also have to be agreed to by the EU's executive Commission and the European Council, which represents all member states of the union

Parallel talks among EU states on letting Britons visit without visas following a no-deal Brexit were delayed last week, diplomatic sources said, after Spain raised objections over Gibraltar, a British territory to which Madrid lays claim

The dispute between Madrid and London has already threatened to derail the whole Brexit negotiation process once, but a last-minute deal with Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez cleared the way in November for the 27 EU states' approval of their divorce package with Britain

Now, however, Britain is struggling to ratify the deal, with a series of votes due late on Tuesday in the House of Commons to seek alternatives to May's troubled plan

Trump tells Americans not to travel to Venezuela and credits U.S. sanctions for Maduro talks - Duration: 17:39.

President Donald Trump warned Americans not to travel to Venezuela on Wednesday, echoing his State Department's warning that the country is unstable, while crediting his sanctions for dictator Nicolas Maduro's offer to negotiate

Maduro said overnight that he would be willing to sit down with opposition leader Juan Guaido and international mediators

He's refusing to bow to demands that he hold a free and fair election immediately, however

'The presidential elections in Venezuela took place, and if the imperialists want new elections, let them wait until 2025,' Maduro told Russian state-media outlet RIA

Trump in an early-morning tweet said that U.S.sanctions on Venezuela's state-owned oil companies changed Maduro's tune on talks

'Maduro willing to negotiate with opposition in Venezuela following U.S.sanctions and the cutting off of oil revenues,' he announced

'Guaido is being targeted by Venezuelan Supreme Court.Massive protest expected today

Americans should not travel to Venezuela until further notice.' Amid the increasing tension, the State Department warned Americans on Tuesday against traveling to the nation, which is seeing a resurgence of street protests and deaths of demonstrators, amid continuing chaos in the nation

Guaido assumed the presidency of Venezuela last week on a pledge to restore democracy, and the U

S.swiftly recognized him as the leader of the Latin American country. He is the head of the Venezuelan National Assembly, a body that Maduro has tried to totally undermine by having the democratically elected body replaced and stripped of its powers

Maduro has accused the United States of orchestrating a coup, and appealed to American citizens on social media early Wednesday morning to stop its government from interfering in the affairs of Latin America

'People of the # USA , I ask for your support to reject the interference of the Donald Trump government that intends to make of My Homeland a Vietnam in Latin America

Do not Let Him!' Maduro tweeted. He shared a direct to camera video on Twitter and Facebook, in Spanish, alongside the message in which he made a similar plea

In other messages on Tuesday and Wednesday, he shared photos of himself rallying soldiers during a military exercise, and announced on Twitter on that he'd deploying 50,000 troops to keep the peace in neighborhoods

'We have an extraordinary operational readiness, in keeping with the national defense,' he said in one

He proclaimed in another: 'I am and will be at the forefront of this battle.I count on the discipline and loyalty of the soldiers and soldiers of the Homeland

We are going to the deployment for peace, independence and sovereignty!' The Trump administration took another step to ratchet up pressure prior to Maduro's announcement, granting Guaido the ability to access the regime's frozen U

S.bank accounts. The State Department announced the move a day after the U.S.Treasury slapped sanctions on Venezuela's state-owned oil companies and set in place a system to freeze accounts that also could be placed under Guaido's control

Venezuela immediately hit back, with the nation's attorney general warning Guaido was not free to leave the country

We denounce the illegitimate former Venezuelan Attorney General's threats against President Juan Guaido

Let me reiterate - there will be serious consequences for those who attempt to subvert democracy and harm Guaido

Maduro also claimed Donald Trump ordered the Colombian government and mafia to assassinate him, as a mystery Russian jet landed in Venezuela this week 'to ship out gold from the central bank'

Maduro said that he has no doubt that the US President 'gave the order to Colombia to kill me' and that if something happens to him 'Donald Trump will be responsible'

Despite his hard line against Trump, Maduro said he is willing to negotiate with Guaido, who is recognized as president by the US and most Western nations as of last week

Meanwhile, a Russian chartered Boeing 777 - carrying just two crewmembers and no passengers - landed in Caracas, allegedly to carry 20 tons of gold from the Central Bank of Venezuela out of the country

That move drew yet another stern response from National Security Advisor John Bolton

'We denounce the illegitimate former Venezuelan Attorney General's threats against President Juan Guaido

Let me reiterate - there will be serious consequences for those who attempt to subvert democracy and harm Guaido,' Bolton tweeted

Under the latest U.S.policy, Guaido, who declared himself the legitimate president of the country, can access accounts maintained by the government and the nation's central bank

The move would 'protect Venezuela's patrimony from further theft by Maduro's corrupt regime,' according to the statement, calling out President Nicolas Maduro's government

'This certification will help Venezuela's legitimate government safeguard those assets for the benefit of the Venezuelan people,' it continued

Venezuelan Attorney General Tarek Saab said he had asked the Supreme Court to open a preliminary investigation into Guaido, accusing him of helping foreign countries to interfere in internal matters

He also asked the court to impose a travel ban on the 35-year-old leader and to freeze his bank accounts

Bolton responded by warning of 'serious consequences,' while state-run oil company PDVSA sought to sidestep U

S.sanctions.In another sign of support, Vice President Mike Pence met with Guaido's newly named acting Charge d'affaires Carlos Alfredo Vecchio

He said at the White House Tuesday his nation had a 'unique opportunity' now after 20 years of fighting for democracy

'We have a united opposition right now.we have a strong national assembly.and we have the democratic world backing us, supporting our agenda, so this is a unique opportunity,' he said

'This is a fight between a dictatorship, which is totally controlled by the Cuban regime, against the free world

We cannot do this alone,' he added. The sweeping sanctions on PDVSA, announced on Monday and aimed at curbing crude exports to the United States and driving Maduro from power, were the strongest measures yet against the 56-year-old former union leader who has overseen economic collapse and an exodus of millions of Venezuelans in recent years

The measures triggered higher global oil prices, angry responses from China and Russia and the first serious moves against Guaido since he challenged Maduro's claim on the presidency last week

The United States and several other countries have recognized Guaido as Venezuela's legitimate head of state and denounced Maduro as a usurper

Maduro, sworn in on Jan.10 for a second term after disputed elections last year, accuses Guaido of staging a U

S.-directed coup against him.Maduro is backed by a number of countries, including Russia

Maduro's inauguration sparked protests throughout Venezuela.Over 40 people are believed to have been killed in political violence last week, including 26 shot by pro-government forces, five killed in house raids and 11 during looting, U

N.human rights spokesman Rupert Colville said on Tuesday. He said more than 850 people were detained between Jan

21 and Jan.26, including 77 children, some as young as 12.Guaido said on Tuesday he did not underestimate the threat of imprisonment but did not believe it was 'anything new

'Many opposition leaders have been imprisoned in the South American nation.'We are here

We will keep acting and working to confront the humanitarian crisis,' Guaido told a news conference

Most experts believe the sanctions and other measures against Maduro will encourage him to step down only if he loses the support of the powerful military, which until now has been mostly loyal to the leftist ruling party founded by late President Hugo Chavez

Maduro appeared on a television broadcast from a military base on Tuesday, praising the soldiers' loyalty

As a lawmaker who heads the National Assembly, Guaido has immunity from prosecution unless ordered by a top court

However, the Supreme Court is loyal to Maduro and is expected to quickly open the investigation

The U.S.State Department said on Tuesday it had certified Guaido's authority to control certain assets held by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York or other U

S.-insured banks, including government and central bank accounts.PDVSA responded to the sanctions by ordering customers with tankers waiting to load crude destined for the United States to prepay, according to sources

Such prepayment could be in violation of the sanctions, setting the stage for a standoff at the ports

PDVSA is also seeking to sidestep the sanctions by asking major buyers, including U

S.refiners, to renegotiate contracts, sources said. The Kremlin condemned the sanctions as illegal interference, while China said they would lead to suffering for which Washington would bear responsibility

Both countries have lent billions of dollars to Venezuela and are concerned about new stress on debt payments

International Brent crude oil futures rose over 2 percent on Tuesday in reaction.Venezuela is among the world's largest heavy crude oil producers

The new U.S.sanctions could cause problems for Venezuela when it comes to servicing its sovereign debt to Russia, which stands at $3

15 billion, Russian Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Storchak told reporters on Tuesday

In Geneva, senior U.S.and Venezuelan diplomats traded jibes at a disarmament conference

Venezuela's ambassador, Jorge Valero, said the administration of U.S.President Donald Trump was preparing a 'military invasion' and questioned whether Washington had the moral authority to 'impose a diktat' on Caracas

Venezuela has sunk into economic and political turmoil under Maduro's socialist government, with inflation seen rising to 10 million percent this year

The loss of revenue from the United States, the No.1 buyer of Venezuelan crude, is sure to further hamper the government's ability to import basic goods like food and medicine, exacerbating a humanitarian crisis that has prompted more than 3 million people to leave the country in recent years

'Sanctions on Venezuela will lead to the deterioration of conditions of people's lives,' Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang told a news briefing in Beijing
