- Hello and welcome to Orleans Toyota.
My name is Martin McAllister and I'm here
to introduce you to the most exciting Toyota
RAV4 to date, the new 2019 RAV4 Trail Edition.
I've been a representative here at Orleans Toyota
for over 14 years and during that time I've seen
many different RAV4 designs.
In this short video, I will point out some
of the distinct features that separate
this vehicle from its competitors
as well as some standard Toyota features
that you will find across the entire Toyota lineup.
I can honestly say, in my opinion, that this
is the best RAV4 I've ever seen.
The new RAV4 comes standard with LED headlights
across the entire 2019 model lineup.
With the wider stance and increased
ground clearance, the 2019 Trail Edition
is designed to handle any driving condition,
especially with the new multi-terrain select dial
where you can select driving modes for mud,
sand, rock, dirt, and snow.
The Trail Edition comes with 19-inch
Michelin tires along with beautiful black
and silver aluminum alloy wheels.
The Trail Edition comes in a variety of colors
like this blue flame with a white roof.
It also comes with extended roof rails.
These roof rails are taller than other models,
providing better clearance when transporting
canoes, bikes, or cargo using the optional cross rails.
Not only is the 2019 RAV4 a beautiful vehicle
to behold and a blast to drive, it's one
of the safest vehicles on the road today.
Toyota Safety Sense is a suite of safety features
that have come standard on most Toyotas
over the last couple of years.
Toyota Safety Sense includes radar
cruise control, auto high beam system,
lane departure alert, and pre-collision system.
What's new with the 2019 RAV4 is that it now
comes with Safety Sense 2.0.
Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 adds bicycle detection,
full-range radar cruise control, road edge
detection and lane tracing assist.
The closest competitor to this is the Honda CRV.
However, the Trail Edition has a couple of big
advantages over the CRV.
For the 2019 RAV4, Toyota has upgraded
its 2.5-liter motor and paired it
with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
This translates into more horsepower
than the Honda CRV with better fuel efficiency.
An additional significant difference
between the Toyota RAV4 Trail Edition
and the CRV is towing capacity.
The 2019 RAV4 Trail Edition is able
to tow 3,500 pounds while the CRV
is only able to tow 1,500 pounds.
Also available on the 2019 RAV4
is a digital rear view mirror, rain-sensing
wipers, and ventilated seats.
These features are not available on the Honda CRV.
I love this RAV4 almost as much as I love my iPhone.
The icing on the cake is that the 2019 RAV4
now comes standard with Apple CarPlay
as part of the Entune 3.0 multimedia system.
If you're an existing RAV4 driver or exploring
it for the first time, I'd be happy to offer
you a test drive and answer whatever questions you have.
