Liverpool are trying to find a club for winger Lazar Markovic. The 24-year-old Serbian was a £20m signing from Benfica in 2014 and last made a first team appearance for them in 2015

He is out of contract at the end of the season but on £50,000 a week. There has been limited interest from China

Markovic has been banished to train with the under-23s at the Kirkby Academy since he rejected a move to Anderlecht last August

Liverpool had thrashed out a £2.9million deadline day deal with the Belgium outfit, as well as a 50% sell-on clause, but he failed to agree personal terms

Nottingham Forest 'accelerating' to get loan deal for Serie A defender over the line - Sport Witness - Duration: 1:45.

Publicly voicing his interest regarding a return to English football in an interview with Foot Mercato a couple of weeks ago, Molla Wagué could be on the verge of getting his wish granted

According to Foot Mercato's Dahbia Hattabi, the Udinese centre-back is currently in talks with Nottingham Forest regarding a potential loan to the Championship club, with Martin O'Neill's side 'accelerating' to get a deal done

Also approached by Lens in Ligue 2, the defender appears to be favouring a move to City Ground, having already featured for clubs such as Leicester and Watford in England in the past

Playing all of preseason with Udinese, Wagué expected to feature quite regularly for the Serie A side, but it quickly became apparent that wasn't the case, hence his search for a new team

Embed from Getty Images  The 27-year-old has only made three appearances for Udinese this season, and he'll be expecting a lot more from his next move, regardless of where it is

As things stand, Nottingham Forest are currently ninth in the Championship, just four points behind Frank Lampard's derby in the first playoff spot, having played one extra game
