Do you want to land more photography and videography clients for 2019?

If so stick around because this video is for you.

So in today's video I'm gonna give you a few tips that's gonna help you secure

the bag and land more clients in 2019. You may have just picked up a camera

this year last year or probably just left the store with one today and you're

thinking what now? How could I make back the money that I invested in this camera?

Well if applied, what I have to share will land you the clients that you're looking

for and more. I went from making $4,000 doing this part-time in 2012 to having

graduated film school in 2016 and made $26,000 that year and 2018 I made

just over $55,000 and here we are in 2019 where I'm on track to make at a

minimum a minimum of $85,000 doing exactly what I love

So again if you're new to this channel and you haven't already make sure you

hit the subscribe button and the notification bell because you don't want

to miss the things that I'm going to be dropping. As much as I've been given and

as much as I've learned throughout the years of doing video production and

photography, I want to give it to you. Now I don't know what your financial goal

for 2019 is be it $4,000, $50,000 or even $100,000, the

application of these tips that I'm gonna provide in this video is definitely

gonna get you there. Now the first tip is about visibility. Now this is kind of off

topic but still related. I learned from my real estate instructor not to be a

secret agent. Now what he meant by that was I would never close any deals in

real estate if no one knew I was an agent. And that same principle it applies

to video production and photography. If no one knows what you do then you will

never get any gigs so you have to become visible in the spaces in which you want

to gain clients. Maybe you want to focus on sports so you have to ask yourself

who are my potential clients? They could be found at sports camps, shooting range

school athletics, gymnastics, cheerleading, martial arts. Now this is the piece that

makes most people uncomfortable. What you have to do is you have to introduce

yourself to as many people as possible as that professional letting them know

who you are, what you do, and what value you can provide for their clients, for

their company, or business or whatever structure that they have and once you

identify your target market you have to ask yourself where are these business located?

Also you have to ask yourself where do employees or business owners

go for business development or professional development?

What networking events do they frequent? The answers to these questions will lead

you to more places that will lead you to more of the clients that you want to

attract. And in addition to your face-to-face contact, what does your

digital footprint say about you? What does your social media say about you? Is

it in your bio? Are you making posts about your businesses? Do your followers

know what you do? So here's a tip that will help you find out the answers to that.

What you want to do is you want to create a poll on either of your social

media sites, probably whichever the one you're most active on, and ask your

followers this simple question, do you know what I do professionally? You will

be surprised at how many people don't know what you do professionally. Listen, I

did a poll asking my followers if they knew what I did professionally and I was

shocked to know that over 60% of my followers who responded didn't know what

I was doing, but it was because my digital footprint was telling a

different story than what I had expected. The reality is the more visible you are

the greater the chances are that you will land the clients that you want.

Tip 2 is about giving. My biggest and most faithful and consistent paying

clients are a result of me doing something for them first for free. Now

trust me I don't do free work for everybody.

That's not something that I do. But, there is a level of discernment that I use

when it comes to identifying good ground. I see my free work as a seed and if I

work that ground just right, then what it will yield will be greater than what I

invested. Understand this one principle: you reap what you sow and not only do you

reap what you sow you reap more than you sow. So you really never know how far

that free photoshoot or that free video is gonna take you. I can testify and say

that the more that I've given the more that I've received and I promise you the

more that you give the more you'll receive. See, the lesson I learned in

giving is some people they aren't afraid to pay you they're just more relational

than they are transactional. Relational people will do business with you when

they know you and will more than likely continue to do business with you. Now on

the other hand, transactional people they'll probably do business with you up

front, but without the relational aspect of it, it'll

probably only be a one-time thing. Now, a client is a client so a one-time gig

isn't a bad thing because that's money in the bank. But you want more of those

relational people because they in turn become strategic partners, if you will.

Strategic partners will refer you to other people when you're not around.

Strategic partners will talk about your work online. Strategic partners will tag

you in their post whenever they post your work online. Strategic partners will

allow you to put your flyers or business cards in their businesses. Strategic

partners will contact you over and over again for repeat business. See, giving forms

trust that can't be measured and when you give without even being prompted to

give the connections that will result from you giving, it can't even be

numbered. Side note, because I'm curious to know, comment below if you've ever

done something free for someone and that resulted in you gaining more clients

from just that one project. Tip 3, 3, 3, tip 3

Tip 3 is about skills. Understand that your skill is directly related to

the type of clients that you're gonna attract. Now, if you just starting off and

you know that your skill isn't there just yet I don't want to discourage you

and say not to pursue clients but your approach has to be just a little bit

differently and I'm gonna tell you how to do that. I'd highly suggest that you

start by giving with the disclaimer upfront that you're new to this field

and that you're trying to grow in this style of videography or photography or

whatever it is and that you're willing to give them a free video in exchange

that they give you feedback on the type of job that you did. Whether it was a

good job or a bad job, critiques on how you could become better or different

things like that and even you can also let them know, like if this is a terrible

video you don't have to post it or share it or say anything about it. But I just

want to try this with you. Now most people aren't gonna turn down a free

video a free photo shoot because in this day and age everybody wants to be seen,

everybody needs eyeballs on their company, their brand, or whatever it is

that they're promoting. So when I first got into photography and video

production I took my camera with me everywhere. I was taking pictures

everywhere and of everything. I was going to services our events and I was

doing this stuff for free but I would only share

the best of my work. I didn't share no blurry images, I didn't share no dark

pictures, I didn't share no pictures that were blown out. I only shared the best of

what I had and by doing that people saw that gift in me and they saw the skill

in me and they started to contact me to shoot their clients or do head shots or

do photo shoots for their family or shoot business videos or promo videos

for their companies. And in order for you to become better at what you do you have

to get your chops in. You gotta get your reps in because what you

consistently do you get better in. Listen, find a safe place where you can take

pictures without judgement. Find a friend, a family member and maybe maybe have a

family member who wants to get family photos, take pictures with them. I promise

you they probably won't judge you as hard as a stranger would. If you got

someone you know who's a business owner contact them reach out to them and see

if you could do something free for them and ask them can they give you honest

feedback about what you're doing and like I said, let them know you do not

have to share that you're not obligated to share this if you don't like it but I

just need to give my reps in. I need to grow in this and more than likely like I

said people will see your heart and your passion and what you're trying to do and

what you're growing in and they'll let you do that and the more you

consistently do it the better you'll become and the better you become the

higher the caliber of client you will attract. It's facts. Listen, I know I wasn't

the best when I first started out so and I found my safe space and when I found

that safe space they allowed me to take pictures consistently and because I

consistently did that work there, I grew and the type of clients that I

attracted changed. So as you grow, so with the type of clients you will

attract and not only that so will the rate at which you'll be able to charge

your clients will change. Tip 4 is about presentation. How you present

yourself to others is how they're receive you. You can make yourself visible,

give, have all the skill in the world, but if your presentation doesn't reflect

belief and confidence in yourself and in what you do, then it will lead to

absolutely nothing. You really have to believe in yourself because if you don't

believe in yourself and what you're able to do and what you provide, why should

anybody else? Now hear me, I understand that we may not all be great

communicators. You have to understand this. Your weakness is someone

else's strength. The burden doesn't have to rest on your shoulders alone. Matter

of fact, in order to scale your business, you can't do it alone. You need help, you

need teammates, you need structure, you need systems in place that's gonna help

you get from here to there. So it may cut into your profit a little bit, but it is

so worth it for you to get someone to do what you can't do in order to make sure

that how you're presenting yourself is how you want to be seen and that you'll

receive as that business professional. And I want you to know that that's

absolutely alright. Don't let anybody bully you into thinking that you have to

run your business by yourself or that the burden and weight of the

responsibility rests on your shoulders and your shoulders alone. You have to

learn to delegate and get some of those responsibilities that you can't do into

the hands of someone else so that your overall image is solid. And trust me,

people will know whenever you're suffering or when you're ill-equipped or

when you're not prepared to do the job and your bottom line is gonna reflect

that. So seek help and find mentors and become a lifelong learner of your craft

because there are people who are literally waiting to meet you but you

don't want to miss out on those clients because you chose not to educate

yourself or put yourself in a better position because you're afraid of what someone

else was gonna say who's not even connected to your bank account. A wise

man once said, "The opportunity of a lifetime lasts only as long as the

lifetime of the opportunity." Don't miss it. That's all I have for you today. I

hope these tips inspire you to go out and get errr done all 2019. If you like

what you just saw on heard, please like this video and share it and if you're

not already, subscribe because I don't want you to miss this stuff that I'm

dropping. There's so much that I want to give to you that has been given to me

and I promise you if you apply these your business will grow, you will grow,

and everything you put your hands to will grow. If you know someone who should

have seen this video make sure you share with them. Share it on your Facebook, your

Twitter, your Instagram. Let me know what you're liking about it let me know what

you don't like. If there's something you don't like and I promise you as I become

better I'll do I can to make sure that you're better.

Thanks so much and I'll see you in the next one. Peace.

CookieMiner Malware for Mac Steals Cookies, Passwords and SMS Messages to Get at Cryptocurrency: Rep - Duration: 2:45.

A new malware threat that steals cryptocurrency on Macs and then uses their resources to mine for more has been identified by security research firm Palo Alto Networks

The threat, which has been named CookieMiner, intercepts browser cookies set by popular cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets, and can also steal passwords stored by Google Chrome

It can even go through iPhone backup files saved on a Mac and scan through a user's text messages

Unit 42, the threat intelligence division of Palo Alto Networks which discovered the threat, believes that this could help the malware authors bypass a user's two-factor security protections

CookieMiner is believed to be based on a known malware called OSX.DarthMiner, which was documented by MalwareBytes in December 2018

Attackers who gain access to a user's Chrome passwords, cookies and text messages could simply log in to their victims' cryptocurrency wallets or exchanges and transfer all the money to themselves

Browser cookies can potentially be used to trick a Web service into thinking it is being accessed from a previously trusted device, in theory reducing the likelihood that a second authentication factor will be asked for

To add insult to injury, the CookieMiner malware also starts mining new cryptocurrency for the attackers using the resources of infected Macs

According to Unit 42's blog post detailing the threat, the miner tries generating a niche privacy-focused cryptocurrency called Koto that is used in Japan

Interestingly, Unit 42's research suggests that the malware authors tried to cover up this fact and appear as though they want to mine the more popular Monero cryptocurrency

While CookieMiner can steal passwords (and saved credit card information) only from Google Chrome, it can also access cookies stored by Apple's Safari browser

It drops a backdoor known as EmPyre on infected Macs to allow the attackers to maintain control remotely

When mining the Koto cryptocurrency, it uses an algorithm targeted more at a computer's CPU than its GPU, as relatively few infected Macs are likely to have powerful discrete GPUs

The blog post disclosing this discovery does not point to where or how the CookieMiner malware might have originated, how widespread it is, or how it infects new Macs

Anyone dealing with cryptocurrency or other sensitive financial information should take precautions such as not relying on automatic password vaults and running periodic malware checks

UCLA to get its biggest Pac-12 test with unbeaten Washington - Duration: 6:22.

Murry Bartow has been saying for more than a week now that UCLA is capable of beating any team in the Pac-12 Conference

The Bruins are about to find out if that's true. Advertisement >  UCLA will face the conference's only remaining unbeaten team in Pac-12 play Saturday afternoon when it takes on Washington at Alaska Airlines Arena, where the Huskies have gone 11-0 this season

Bartow, the Bruins' interim coach, fully acknowledged that his assertion about his team comes with a caveat

"We're also bright enough, smart enough to know that if we don't play a great game [Saturday]," Bartow said Friday during a conference call with reporters, "we don't have a chance

"  UCLA (12-9 overall, 5-3 Pac-12) has defended well, improved its ball movement and made 58

3% of its shots during a two-game winning streak, trends it must sustain to knock off the Huskies (17-4, 8-0)

Washington is trying to become only the ninth Pac-12 team to start 9-0 in conference play since the 1978-79 season while boosting its candidacy for an at-large berth in the NCAA tournament

The Huskies are unranked in the national polls but are a respectable No. 29 in the most recent NCAA Evaluation Tool ranking, far ahead of their Pac-12 brethren

Arizona State is next with a No. 61 NET ranking and the Bruins, stuck in a four-way tie for third place in the conference standings, are No

89. Sign up for our daily sports newsletter »  Washington's success starts with its smothering 2-3 zone defense, which it plays exclusively

That has helped the Huskies give up a conference-low 64.6 points per game while opponents make only 39

9% of their shots. Colorado is the only Pac-12 team that has scored 70 points against the Huskies this season

Success against Washington's defense, Bartow said, will start with getting the stops and rebounds that allow the Bruins to push the ball in transition

"If we're attacking their zone after makes," Bartow said, "we'll have no chance to win

"  Bartow said Washington uses its length and athleticism to extend the top of its zone farther than the Bruins do when they're using a similar 2-3 alignment

"They have some guys who are really tailor-made for the zone," Bartow said. "They get steals, deflections, block shots and they're very, very active

You can ask anyone who's played against them, it's not real easy to score."  Washington guard Matisse Thybulle causes many of the headaches

He had seven steals and two blocks to go with his 17 points on Wednesday during the Huskies' 75-62 victory over USC

The Huskies also feature guard Jaylen Nowell, the only Division I player averaging at least 16 points, five rebounds and three assists while shooting 50% from the field and 40% from three-point range

Given those numbers, it should come as no surprise that Nowell was selected the Pac-12 player of the week three times before the end of January

UCLA is playing some of its best basketball of the season thanks to a sharing approach in which at least four players have reached double figures in scoring over the last two games

Back-to-back blowouts of undermanned teams have given the Bruins a sense of invincibility that's going to be put to the test Saturday, along with their coach's sentiments about their potential

Advertisement >  "We've just got to go out there and have the same intensity we had out here," UCLA center Moses Brown said Wednesday after the Bruins thumped Washington State by 20 points, "and we'll be unbeatable

Conman jailed for rape posed as immigration officer to get free sex in brothel - Duration: 4:04.

A conman was called a "menace" and jailed for 12 years for rape - posing as an immigration officer to get free sex in a brothel

Thomas Goddard turned up in a suit and carried a satchel after phoning to book a massage at the premises in Beeston, Nottingham Crown Court heard

Earlier, the 56-year-old made an internet search for "cute Asian girls".  The city's senior Judge Gregory Dickinson QC told him: "You are a menace

This was heavily manipulative brutal behaviour and is a new low.  "You gave the impression you were in some responsible line of work

"They had nothing like it and you took it by way of sex. That is rape."  Two women were threatened and Goddard forced one to have sex, the court heard

The judge added: "These were people who had found rock bottom.  "These are serious offences and despicable

"This is not the movies. This is the real world  "People don't choose to live in brothels because it is glamorous

"They are already at rock bottom, leading degrading lives."  After the rape in the brothel at 11am, Goddard used his phone at midnight, typing in words to search for Asian girls

He will then be on licence and supervised by probation officers for five years.  A restraining order prevents him from contacting his two victims for 20 years

The court heard Goddard, of Tavistock Avenue, Mapperley Park, was convicted in 2001 of posing as a police officer and trying to get sex

Henry James, prosecuting, said: "This is highly relevant. He was pretending to be an undercover police officer and the two victims were working the streets

"He makes an apology," said Mr Purcell.  Goddard had looked back to find the reasons for his offences but did not seek to justify his behaviour

Mr Purcell said he understood the effect on the women and added: "Of course it is degradation and a humiliation in the circumstances but nothing beyond that
