[Intro] Howdy guys, it's TCousteau with FantasticalGamer!!

There are many rare items and epic weapons hidden across the vast map of Red Redemption

2.

And the interesting thing is that it seems like there are more melee weapons hidden around

the wild-west than revolvers.

Today, we are going to talk about one of these hidden melee weapons that is simply epic.

Although it is a bit rusty and broken because of being on the ground for years, it is still

deadly.

We are referring to the one and only, Pirate Sword.

Finding it is not as arduous as you may think because you will not have to fight any pirates,

in fact, you just need to snatch the sword from a corpse of a poor pirate in a small

broken boat.

But don't feel bad for stealing his sword, if he had used it, he wouldn't have died

on that boat.

Anyways, let's cut to the chase and talk about finding that sword:

Finding the Pirate Sword: In order to find the Broken Pirate Sword,

you need to head to Saint-Denis.

To be precise, look out from the long train bridge to the southwest towards a small cluster

of islands.

You will discover this sword in a boat on this cluster of islands.

When you reach the island, look for a boat.

But before you go, be sure to hitch your trusty horse somewhere safe.

There are a lot of alligators on these small islands in both small and large sizes.

And they will scare your horse until it bucks you off and the last thing that you want is

to make your trusty friend a breakfast for the alligators.

Furthermore, make sure you are armed with some heavy weapon like a shotgun, because

the alligators are quick and deadly and if they attack, you have a thin chance of surviving

it.

So your best bet is to avoid them altogether.

So with that said, head down through the swamp from island to island and you will find the

boat, with the corpse of its previous owner.

Shout a thank you to him and get his sword.

[Outro] Well, that's about it for today.

We hope that this video will help you in finding the epic pirate sword.

The sword has very decent statistics and looks badass on Arthur especially if he is rocking

a Tricorn hat with it.

Anyways, it's time for us to go, but we will be back for another awesome video so

till then, enjoy your pirate sword and let us know in the comments how many enemies you

killed with that sword.

We'll see you in the next one!

Melissa's Holiday Gift Guide 2018 - More Frugal, Useful and Meaningful Gifts - Duration: 15:33.

hi everyone its melissa here from melissa shares and from little kosher

lunch and today i wanted to talk to you about the holidays coming up and holiday

gifting because it turns out that i have a lot of opinions about holiday gifting

but today i wanted to talk about meaningful frugal useful gift ideas for

a broad spectrum of people the more you can step back from whatever holiday

frenzy is around you and think clearly about how much you actually want to

spend and is this thing that I'm giving meaningful and useful to the recipient

then I think we'd all be a lot happier I have seven tips for you today and for

those of you who celebrate Hanukkah and are Jewish I will have over on little

kosher lunch a Jewish Hanukkah gift guide for you with more Hanukkah

specific ideas but this one is for everyone

number seven consider a coordinated or add-upon gift this is a great frugal gift

option or a nice way to present like a bigger ticket gift that you want to your

family and friends where no one is put out to spend a huge amount of money

themselves so exhibit a the vintage Little Tikes dollhouse this was a great

add-on gift that I facilitated a couple of years ago I actually bought the

Little Tikes dollhouse which is sort of a collectible thing now I found one for

$14 at the thrift store but the trick is that the furniture is expensive and

dollhouse furniture generally is expensive so I sent a message out to my

family and I said what we really would like is furniture and people for our

dollhouse there were certain prime pieces like the baby and the baby

stroller the vacuum cleaner the baby pool we also got you know various people

clearly the baby is missing because the baby is the favorite piece of this

dollhouse and my girls take turns hiding it different places if you're doing a

dollhouse for the holidays ask relatives to buy you the pieces that you need for

that dollhouse another example of this train tracks plus the train engines

these are really expensive new if you can buy a good deal on a lot

of track then it's not as big a deal to ask your relatives to get you a caboose,

a crane, all the little stop signs, people that go with it and this again could be

a $5 to $30 spend for individual pieces or a few train cars we have this this is

a this is a favorite little tykes flashlight turning you off this one

a relative bought for our big girl and today adding on to it I found one for a

dollar ninety-nine at the thrift store for little girl she's gonna get her own

now I was really excited about this extra flashlight not only the price and

that it matches and goes with one I have but it goes with my sister-in-law's

gifts that she sent a tepee that I'm gonna wrap and set aside for Hanukkah

and she was very thoughtful and she did some add-on gifts a night sky

constellation book another light a lantern for the girls you could do a whole

camping set there's so many different ideas in my wheelhouse of young children

these are all really long lasting quality gifts I love this one buy in

bulk and divide I'm gonna just show you my crazy living room chair that I've set

up for this one if you belong to like a big box store this is a no-brainer

right like we've already divided if you buy the giant Pistachios at Costco or

the giant walnuts that maybe you will or won't candy and then if you think about

containers that you already might own or could pick up secondhand for a

reasonable price mason jars canisters for the pantry I like to think about

what do I already have in my pantry or what am i picking up at Costco that I

could divide easily as a hostess gift or a teacher gift or a have just in case

gift some other ideas beans and spices with your chili recipe take something

beautiful like these wrapped candies and put them in your candy dish

you don't need to wrap it any further and then one that my husband was not

familiar with but that my mom did when I was growing up is flavored sugar for

someone who likes fancy coffees this is nice

you can do vanilla sugar by using just even half of a vanilla bean you stick it

down in your sugar put it in there for a couple weeks

stir it every few days and your sugar is gonna be infused with vanilla flavoring

and then you can put that in a mason jar and give that to the teachers at school

or whatever it's a nice very inexpensive but thoughtful gift oh and if you're

like me and you really love nice meat consider buying the whole fillet and

cutting it into steaks and I think that that's really like the ultimate of this

idea of buying in bulk dividing repackaging and giving to

someone else my mom and I both think the steaks is like really something you'd

give to someone you love alright number five alternatives to gift

cards you know if it's the right gift card then great but a lot of people give

gift cards that nobody really cares about and they go into a drawer or they

disappear and get lost and don't get used I think cash is really underrated

if you are giving cash it's really nice to go to the bank and get really crisp

bills another thing that's nice are gifts of unusual increments like a

dollar coin

this is a 25 dollar roll that I bought and have

dipped into of like the Sacagawea and other dollar coins that are golden

colored just consider giving cash instead of a gift card I will write on a

sticky note and stick it on the money and I'll say I envision you drinking

coffee at a really nice coffee shop with this or why don't you go get your nails

done or go do something you like with your husband you can give the sentiment

of a gift card without buying the gift card let your person choose where they

want to spend the money where they want to grocery shop where they want to drink

their coffee let them choose because you may think that you know but then it

turns out you really didn't know and then they're like selling their gift

cards at a discount on one of those gift card sites another

alternative to gift cards that I like to tell people about give a sheet of stamps

and I have some I'll show you in a moment and I know this is about frugal

gifting but some people have different budgets for gifting if you really want

to help someone out and you're uncomfortable giving them cash but you

are an intimate friend you could pay a bill for somebody I mean you can go to

the utility company and pay their electric bill or put money towards

towards their school bill that they're paying every month okay I'll leave it at

that number five just consider not doing those gift cards

speaking of gift cards tip number four I confess that using gift cards is

sometimes useful and I used a gift card that I already had and I bought hostess

gifts and those are things that I would maybe hesitate to buy with my own cash

but I needed to use up the gift card and these are things that I'm very happy to

be gifting they're very high-end so if you have gift cards use those first

before you spend your own hard-earned money number three make or we gift

thoughtfully this one is a little bit extreme but just stay with me here this

can run the gamut I like to think of what are you good at or what are you

known for that will connect with your gift recipient so this is as simple as

are you really good at pumpkin bread think about what's important and that

you're good at and it might be something like my recipe cards to give to a family

member I made laminated recipe cards recipe cards or important family recipes

that you document and save and give to say a little sibling or a grandchild can

be really meaningful and even more meaningful would be giving those recipes

along with like an important tool to make the thing or inviting that person

over to make a dish with you and then giving the family recipe cards maybe you

have a lot of something like you're a stylish woman and you have a lot of

scarves a scarf is a beautiful way to wrap up a gift especially if you're

buying them at a reasonable price I mean I wouldn't buy a $300 silk scarf

and wrap something else in it I've gifted things to like young relatives who are

just starting a new job or graduating college and something that's a nice

accessory is a really kind and thoughtful gift to like add something to

their work wardrobe I've wrapped up books in scarves if you have a handbag

collection and someone that you know has always admired it

maybe you gift an old special accessory like that by cleaning out and re gifting

meaningfully I'm sorry you guys had to find out this way but I have a massive

collection of Chia Pets Chia Pets to me scream the holidays if you were a child

of the 80s you watched all the commercials for Chia Pets this was not a

gift that I gave away because I'm never giving away my Chia Pets but I have

grown out my Chia Pets you can buy chia seeds everywhere now get some chia seeds

grab a chia pet if you still have yours around and these are so much fun for a

holiday party I have grown them all bushy and green and gorgeous and had

holiday parties at my house I have even grown these Chia Pets lovingly and

I've taken them to someone else's house for a holiday party so this was

something weird I could provide where I was doing a table setting essentially

that was very me and was appreciated

okay tied up with this is also my tip number two what's old is new even though

it's old to you it may be new and fresh to someone else there's just there's a

lot of trends that come back around so dig into your closet don't be afraid to

go buy things secondhand if you live in a city where this is possible to do

without a lot of effort we live in Los Angeles the thrift shopping is amazing

I can go and find things like an Hermes scarf for six dollars at my thrift store

it takes a little effort but it's a hobby of mine and it's possible buy used

look in a drawer I am Not Afraid to gift a book that is secondhand a lot of my

favorite books or wonderful children's book titles are out of print and you

can only find them secondhand you can clean things nicely you can send things

to the dry cleaners you can cover a book in a beautiful book jacket so that it's

fresh and pristine looking again like a collector's edition would be and this is

a great way to make your gifting stretch without spending a lot of money and no

one will ever be the wiser you can also do this shopping online if you're not in

a big city and if you start well in advance of the holidays and give

yourself enough time you will find the thing that you're looking for at the

right price this doesn't have to be fashion related per se but my mother can

look in her junk drawer and she can find a gift for my children that they love go

around in your day-to-day life and look for free things that are out there at my

dry cleaners they give away free tiny candies they also are giving away these

really cute packets of lint sheets like a lint roller but they come in a stack

and they go in your purse these are so cute they would make a great stocking

stuffer they're very novel they're useful they're free my daughters

freak out over old clip-on earrings they do not need to be new these were a

dollar fifty today at the thrift store this was a dollar this was this was a

whopping eight dollars but it's a really beautiful ladybug you may already have

these in a drawer at home my kids like things like old skeleton

keys these are interesting an old costume jewelry necklace postage stamps

I mentioned as an alternative to gift cards but you know if you know a child

who has a certain interest you can find postage stamps on pretty much any topic

you can order them online all summer we've been doing the scratch-and-sniff

stamps that are ice creams Halloween stamps that we're using right now

astronauts outerspace underwater creatures you may already have these

stamps in your desk drawer this was a $1 CD that I picked up today and this is

just like evidence that cost really doesn't matter and it's thinking about

the gift recipient that matters my oldest daughter is obsessed with Hawaii

loves Moana even though Moana doesn't take place in Hawaii and I said look we

will get Hawaiian music for you like for a dollar I have a new CD that I put in

my car and my children were so happy today listening to this new Hawaiian

music it was like a conversation starter it was a learning experience it's not

even a name-brand anything it's something that I just happened upon for

a dollar you may already have things like this and these sort of happenstance

gifts are sometimes some of the most interesting ones I really like this idea

and this is the idea that my family settled on for our holiday giving this

year we'll see if they officially settled but we discussed do something

nice with people that you love for someone else so in my family we often do

a holiday gift exchange all of that money that's always spent every year on

things that are sometimes big hits but sometimes they're misses and sometimes

they're meaningful and sometimes the gifts just aren't so meaningful and

everyone feels the need to spend the allocated spending limit why don't we

just do something nice for someone else and this is something this is a gift

that anyone can do it's more meaningful if you can do it with someone that you

love that you would otherwise be buying a gift for get together with your family

and sponsor another family for the holidays make a meal and take it to

someone else put together gift baskets or care package

for someone who's far away from home raise money for a cause that you believe

in take your things and drop them off to charity whatever it is I think that we

get all bent out of shape over the holidays we spend too much money money

is so important I think it's so important that it's helpful to teach my

children not to fritter it away I want them to be able to have it and save it

for their futures I have bills to pay I don't want myself or other people to put

themselves in a bad position because they overspent on gifting so do

something meaningful this year I really appreciate your time if you

subscribe to my channel great I look forward to having more content for you

soon if you are celebrating Hanukkah and

you're Jewish check out little kosher lunch that's my other YouTube channel

thank you again and I hope you have wonderful holidays that are meaningful

frugal useful I hope they're just great thank you bye bye

floor. The show floor is kind of the hub of all the action that is D23 Expo. They

have big pavilions, exhibits, and displays from Disney theme parks, Disney Animation,

amazing exhibit! Oh my gosh, there's always something going on and I love all

the cool photo ops that I can post. There's this amazing street party every

day with characters, music, celebrities. And, of course, there's great shopping!

Like, the best shopping! D23 Expo has amazing shopping with tons of exclusive

merchandise created just for the Expo— like inside the Dream Store! It's your

official place to get D23 Expo logo stuff like shirts, mugs, and so much more.

There's also the Disney Store, which is another mega store filled with more

things you just have to have and Walt Disney Imagineering's own store,

Mickey's of Glendale! There's some great pop-up shops from a bunch of Disney

partners with cool shoes, accessories, and collectibles. And then, you can venture

into the D23 Expo Emporium that features art, toys, and collectibles—old and new.

And don't forget to take advantage of Store Pass for several of the bigger

stores—this helps you spend more time shopping and less time waiting. It's like

a Fast Pass for shopping! Choose your favorite store and a time

slot and when you return you get to skip the line and use

a special entrance. It's not just about shopping, you guys, there are shows for days—

and smack dab in the middle of the show floor Center Stage has all sorts of fun

like DJs, special musical performances, animation lessons with master Disney

animators... The whole Convention Center is chock full of exciting presentations and

entertainment. On the second floor, the Walt Disney Archive stage is more

intimate and gives guests a peek behind the magic. It's like a trip through

Disney's history featuring an amazing array of Disney Legends, experts and

historians. Stage 28 is on the third floor and there's a bunch of different shows

the Mousequerade costume contests and other shows that take you behind the

scenes of everyone's favorite Disney experiences. Exactly, there's no way to see

it all, but if you're catching one of the sessions at the Expo, checkout Stagepass.

It's an amazing way to save time! Available for select shows, Stagepass

guarantees you a seat so you have more time to explore the Expo! The Expo Arena

is the second largest venue at the D23 Expo and has featured celebrations of

the biggest theme park attractions and comic books, game shows, film screenings,

and musical spectaculars over the years. Hall D23 is gigantic! The energy is

amazing! It's hosted princesses, Jedi, Avengers, and so much more over the years.

It's where you can catch some of the biggest and most anticipated

announcements shows and surprises of the weekend.

There's the Disney Legends awards ceremony! Oprah, Whoopi, and Mark all in

one room? Where else would you find practically all of the Avengers on stage?

You'll find that there's so much to see and do in three days! We'll provide you

with some great resources like d23expo.com, these Know Before You Expo videos,

2018 Hanukkah Gift & Activity Guide from Little Kosher Lunch - Duration: 8:29.

hi everyone its melissa here from little kosher lunch and welcome to my channel

if you're new here I'm the mommy to two little girls and we are packing

kosher-style lunchboxes every day and I also am showing you content on this

channel like holiday content for Hanukkah

so I hope you'll stick around and subscribe if you're new today I wanted

to talk about a few ideas given that Hanukkah is really sneaking up on us

this year I am very Pro inexpensive useful consumable gifts that don't take

up a lot of space today I wanted to share a few ideas some you have seen

before but they bear repeating and some are new for Hanukkah this year that

will be easy gifts for you to pull off the first ones are sort of child and

baby related one of the favorite things that I've shared with you in the past is

my Hanukkah felt and this is something that is so easy and inexpensive to pull

off that I wanted to share it with you again and illustrate that just with a

pair of like kitchen shears or sewing scissors and a few pieces of felt you

can cut out a simple hanukiya and little candles I have lots of extras

down here and flames I made some latkes and a platter and a

dreidel and some gelt and this is a set that children from 18 months on through

preschool age really enjoy playing with I set it up on an easel I already own

with a sheet of felt that I bought at the fabric or craft store this is a gift

that you could make and give or make and mail for around $5 you can also get a

felt placemat and this is a nice thing for on an airplane if you're traveling

for the holidays felt spending a lot of time on it but you just need to know

about it if you are a crafty person I once went on a real bender and made bibs

for everybody and I do these bibs for my children I can link the pattern for you

but these are bibs that are backed in terry cloth and they have nice angles

that really cover the shoulders of a baby and one year i made a whole bunch

of Chanukah bibs if you're handy and you wanted to make some Hanukkah special

things for a baby go ahead and do that someone is going to love it

and you can buy these types of things but these happen to be homemade and they

were very special and I put a lot of love in them the really nice thing to do

at a Hanukkah party where kids are attending is either invite the children

to bring their Hanukkah crafts and use those as decorations or you can bring a

Chanukah craft to the event it's really nice for a child to like make a little

hanukiya something and take it home or show off something that they're really

proud of so here are some examples I've saved from past years just to give you

inspiration Pinterest is your best friend there's lots of inspiration there

little hanukiyot made out of a halved paper plate this was a school

craft with washi tape we've done tin foil and doilies and jewels and my

favorite of course my favorite be the shamash I save these from year to year

and I use them as decorations in our own home in terms of going to other people's

homes I think a hostess gift is always nice to be prepared for these are the

ones I'm giving this year from williams-sonoma their dish towels are

just beautiful and these are pop-up sponges so this is great if someone else

is feeding you and doing the dishes you at least could refresh their towels I

love giving stamps to people and these are the new Hanukkah stamps they're

forever stamps so even if you stocked up this year and save them for future years

you would probably be making money if you have children who are receiving

gifts for the holiday I think it's really important to send thank-you notes

and this makes thank-you notes more fun for the child when they are themed

appropriately with the holiday I've discussed these before but a Chanukah

playdate kit is what I call these this is just a mason jar with gelt and

dreidels and you can decorate it with a bow if you want to be fancy like me I've

also taken our planet box you'd be very generous to gift a planet box but you

could or you could just take your lunch box that you already own or a Tupperware

that's divided and these I did for my children last year and they loved

them you can do dreidel with gelt and dreidels you can do play dough and make

latkes and hanukiyas or you can make a play-doh worm or long

hanukiya and physically put old Hanukkah candles in it and pretend that you're

lighting the candles and sing the Hanukkah songs for my daughters at least

this has been a lot of fun and it's cute and neat for them to take in their lunch

bag to Grandma's house or take to a friend's house over the holiday

so just repurposing items you have in a cute container can make Hanukkah

activities happen if you already do dreidel or you're just doing traditional

dreidel where people are coming over and the dreidels are out consider playing

with real money it is a tradition to give real money or real gelt at Hanukkah

time and it's maybe more fun if it's an unusual coin your kids can learn about

money this way even a roll of pennies is good enough it's a little bit more high

stakes for the child another tradition that I really like is to BYO hanukiya

so these are some hanukiyot that we own so many families have historic or

meaningful or really beautiful hanukiyot that you might want to see so if you

are hosting Hanukkah this year or if you have some say and someone else's

Hanukkah party why don't you suggest that everybody bring their own hanukiya

if they have one your child can bring the one that they made at school and

then you get to see everyone lighting the hanukiya together it's more

candles and more light if you were giving a gift to a new couple or a new

family it is nice to gift a hanukiya they range in price my last tip for you

today is oomphing up your supplies for Hanukkah by adding one small thing each

year so this year I am gifting myself Hanukkah related napkins I bought these

beautiful blue napkins today and these silver ones and these are gonna go into

my linen closet to be pulled out year after year and they set a beautiful sort

of blue and white silver table the other gift to give to a family with kids is

the gift of a new Hanukkah book if you subscribe or our a member of PJ

Library which sends free Jewish books for children then you may have some of

these there are some books though that are not sent out by

PJ Library and there are ways to figure that out if you're looking to

fill in the gaps for someone one way of knowing it is if it's an expensive book

because typically the PJ Library books are more low cost so one of the

ones that we received from friends was Hanukkah bugs it is a pull the tab lift

the flap book it's just a little more elaborate here's one where the little

shamash bug radiates light and this has been a huge hit with my children this is

the grand finale whoa that's the eighth night of Hanukkah I just found the

runaway latkes I found it at the thrift store so I pick these things up and I

do have a special Judaica section of my children's book library and these come

out year after year I pull them out in advance of the holiday so they can be

ready and we can have a Chanukah book each night of Hanukkah

here are some other titles I'll list them for you below but the other way to

find out if PJ library sends them is they do publish a list on their website

of what books are being mailed out so you could check on that list to find

inspiration and titles that you want to purchase or you can check against it to

see if you're getting a book that they aren't gonna send that is all for you I

have some other gift guides that I've done in the past so I'll link those up

for you but I hope you have a really special holiday and much more than any

of these gift ideas I really hope that you just do Hanukkah for me Hanukkah is

about singing the songs lighting the candles eating latkes and other fried

foods that's what's really important I think and getting caught up in the

materialism much less important so if you can keep it simple more power to you

and thank you so much for your time I hope to see you back here on my channel

soon bye bye

$40.000/per Month Online Business - A Detailed Guide on How to Build it - Duration: 30:17.

Hey Tribe, it's Jonas here! And in this video, I'm going to share how to start an

online business that is making forty thousand dollars a month or even more. So

in this video I'm going to give insights how I structured my business how

everything is built I'm gonna give hands-on knowledge and if you're

thinking about building or scaling a business then this video is for you. It's

the dream of many Millennials to travel the world to be free and at the same

time be wealthy so you want to be location independent you want to have

your business entirely online and at the same time of course you want to have a

good income you don't want to live by you know $1,000 a month or something

like that and then of course a third pillar of freedom as you know if you

follow this channel the third pillar of freedom besides money and vocation

independence is also time availability because if you work hundred hours a week

you know that's no freedom then you're a slave and I'm not gonna lie at the

beginning if you start building your business you're not gonna have all of

these things fulfilled at the beginning you know you start the business there

it's not gonna be income as of day one you're not gonna be working two hours a

week it's right or two hours a day it's rather like 10 hours 12 hours a day six

seven days a week that's the beginning that's the truth and you need to do that

there is no other way you can't build a business in relaxed mode it doesn't work

you know and you can't that's somebody else but your business as well so this

is the topic outsourcing I'm gonna talk about this in a second but just a heads

up you have to do this yourself you have to put your business yourself and then

at some point you can start automating things and I'm gonna share exactly how I

did that and you know what's the best approach for you to do that so first of

all you need a structure this is really really important your business needs to

be structured I'm very visual visual person so I

always paint things down and write them down I'm gonna do this for you right now

but this is also something that you should do you should have the basic

structure of your business in your head and this should be very very simplified

so of course you can draw these crazy drafts drop graphs and mind maps where

everything is connected somehow and you should but the button the most important

thing at the beginning is to have a simple easy structure that is you know

breaking down broken down to the most important things and I'm gonna do this

for you right now how would they look so here looking at my screen you can see

the four pillars of the online business and that's basically pretty much the

same for every online business so the first one is lead generation I'm gonna

explain in the in a second I'm gonna explain a little bit more how that works

what does it mean then the second one is sales the third pillar is project

management

and then the last pillar is delivery

okay and this is very important to understand even before you start a

business or if you want to scale a business if you have some issues in the

business and you don't know what's happening then you need to have this

structure in your head because it's gonna help you to figure where is the

problem I'm gonna make an example about this in a second but first okay make

let's make all of them Brad we didn't start yet this is we built the business

from scratch okay all these things are not started yet so let's think about

what is what and what's the right order to do that so lead generation is here

this is obviously finding potential clients and for that we need to build a

funnel a funnel is a system to basically find clients or potential clients it has

to be repetitive so for example let's say yo a friend of my parents

recommended me this guy and then you know I closed him this is not a good

funnel this is coincidence that's just random so a good funnel needs to be in a

way that you know you can do exactly the same thing over and over again so you

can scale it and you can you know like just throw it by by doubling the funnel

or by 10x the funnel so funnels could be on freelancer platforms like up work it

could be on LinkedIn if you know what you're doing

it could be using Google Ads driving traffic to your landing page converting

them on the landing page it could be Facebook Ads funnel could be many things

even cold calling is the funnel so you need some system to find clients and you

should focus on one single system you shouldn't say hey I do a little bit of

cold calling a little bit of LinkedIn and then some a little bit of content

marketing that doesn't work so at the beginning you focus on one single thing

that is working and you put all your energy and all your effort in that so

depending on what's your product or your service

choose one funnel and yeah if you need help of that just contact me

give you some some advice tell me what's your product what's your market what's

your niche and I'm gonna give you some advice with that so that's the first

part lead generation second part is sales sales means some kind of sales

process okay in most businesses that's a call a consultation call it's very

important that you actually try to help clients so you can't scam them you can't

sell them talk them into something bad you have to provide value and you have

to you know if you have some digital marketing service then you need to

figure a can i really help them and you have to consult them and then you know

you have to obviously close them and by closing them I don't mean you have to

you know see you some sleazy sales techniques to you know trick and

manipulate them but you have to show them the value of your service or your

product and you have to convince them then that it's actually you know a good

choice for them and it should be if you don't have the feeling that your client

could benefit from your product or service you shouldn't try to sell them

okay sales could be on the phone it could

also be automated it could be a webinar on your website and then people buy

something it could be you know if you have a load like a lot ticket product

like cheap cheap products that are let's say less than $50 or less than hundred

dollars you could even make an automated you know sales automated Buy Now order

here whatever okay so this is sales then let's talk about project management and

delivery so let's talk about delivery first because we need to know what

delivery astonished and project management so delivery let's say your

business builds websites delivery is the part where you actually program the

website design it with WordPress let's say your business does SEO or Google Ads

the delivery part is where you actually sit down you are somebody of your team

and you know like doing this taking care for that project management is basically

communicating of the client you know during the entire project usually it's

not like one day usually it's ongoing project you have to talk to them you

have to you know make sure that they're good

with everything that you're doing you need feedback so that's all the project

management part so that's the basic structure of the business and as I said

if something in the business is not working you need to have the structure

written down or in your hat to find the problem and I'm gonna give you a

hands-on example let's say for some reason there are no say it's closed like

you're closed till this week you closed sale the week before but suddenly there

is no sale closed this could have two reasons it couldn't be a problem here of

lead generation or it could be a problem of sales it could be the problem that

not enough leads are coming in nobody's booking calls so then it's a lead

generation problem it could also be that all the leads that get on the call are

unqualified so that's the lead generation problem it could also be that

you have the same amount of calls same qualified leads but they are not

closed anymore so maybe it's a say it's issue maybe you change something in the

sales process then it's a problem here and to understand that and to find that

you need this basic structure because otherwise it's highly possible that you

you know tweak the wrong things that you look at the wrong part of the business

you say hey no sales closed so you only look at sales even though you know the

problem might lie somewhere else so now let's get started let's build our

business and let's think what we actually have to do first

so before we start thinking about how to get clients we have to solve this part

here delivery and the reason for that is once you start closing clients this has

to be in place so once you start closing clients you need to be able to deliver

what you don't want is you get your first client you're like awesome my

clothes I closed the deal and then you're like fuck how do I actually

deliver this product or the service you don't want this situation to happen ok

so first delivery needs to be in place there are two options how to do that

first option is you do that yourself so if you know how to build websites if you

know how to edit videos if you are good with Facebook ads and you have

experience with that then you could 100% like when you could sorry that's yellow

that means it's working but not automated so then you could do this you

self what you could also do is hire people for that freelancers based like

you pay them based on project so this would be automated and you tell the

freelancer okay right now I don't have a job for you as soon as I will have one

will you be available this is gonna be the product this is gonna be the salary

for the project and this is what I expect you find good guys that you can

trust and that you know have good portfolio and then you know this is

basically ready to go and as soon as you find a client you just call this

freelancer and you tell them you I have a client I have a job for you here's the

money you start working you know those are two options do-it-yourself or

automated but keep in mind we want to build and automate the business so the

sooner you automate this the better but if you know how to you know deliver a

product then this might be a good option for you to do this at first at the

beginning and think about automating later next step lead generation so now

we start here and the important thing is you have to do it yourself so you have

to test your funnel you have to try what is working what's not working let's say

you do cold calling okay you have to pick up the phone you have to call guys

yourself you have to get hung up on a lot you know you have to experience all

these things you have to figure what's working what's not working you're gonna

write your script you're gonna listen to your call recordings you're gonna be

like alright Wow I said this and the others called I said

this and this worked a lot better so let's adjust the script you have to do

all these things yourself until it's working okay this is really important

whatever your funnel is you have to send messages yourself you have to send

emails yourself whatever it is you have to understand your own lead generation

process and you have to optimize that and this is the actual work of the

business owner optimizing these things testing these until they really work if

or as soon as this is properly working as soon as you're not changing anything

anymore let's stay with the example of cold calling you call 100 clients in a

row and you realize like wow it's actually really good what I'm doing

conversion rate is acceptable it's not gonna be awesome with cold calling but

it's okay and then you know your

according to Selleck yeah there's nothing to improve you don't change the

script anymore if you are at this stage this means that you are working in the

business not on the business as long as you're changing the script as long as

you you know improving this process you're working on the business so this

is the right time to start outsourcing to start hiring somebody as soon as

you're just doing repetitive tasks as soon as you just do like the things over

and over again then you need somebody you need to hire somebody to do that for

you because you want to improve the business in order to serve more clients

in order to help more guys in order to improve your quality so this is what you

really have to focus on all the time okay so in lead generation let's leave

it yellow for now we just do this ourself and then hey the first sales are

coming in the first calls are coming in calls are booked or meetings maybe if

you make a call calling and then you try to get a personal meeting maybe you go

to freelancer platform you apply for jobs there or you have another working

system like LinkedIn whatever it is first sales call sales meetings are

coming in what do you do of course you do that yourself it's

yellow you have to do that yourself you have to learn it because later you're

gonna build your sales team and you need to understand you know what's the right

way to do it because you need to feedback them you need to train them and

you can't do that if you you know if you have never done this yourself

so theory alone is not enough only because you read some books about

sales and you watched some nice YouTube videos you can't teach anybody you have

to you need to have hands-on experience every market is different every product

is different every niche is different so you have you need to do that yourself

and you have to understand that okay let's say at this point degeneration is

really working well and it costs you two hours every day so then you can start

automating this so this means you focus more on sales that's a really important

part of the business and you you basically hire assistants you hire

somebody to do the lead generation for you depending on

your funnel again for cold calling you need a different personality type than

for you know sending repetitive messages on freelancer platforms so you have you

need to find somebody who's a good fit obviously and then train them and manage

them so this means in the in the tasks like how high this value is in the

pyramid you move one step up so the first step you know you do lead gen

yourself and the main thing that you want to do is not just to legion but the

main thing that you want to do is improve regen okay so this is your job

as a business owner improve legion as soon as you as the legion process is

really good you outsource this task so you go to the next step which is one

step higher is manage lead gen team it's less time consuming and higher value

because because what happens is now three assistants could work on this on

three different planets or three times the same funnel what you can't do alone

because it's too much time required to run three planets at the same time but

three assistants could do that for you you train them and then you just manage

them so you get on weekly calls with them you check that everything is done

properly so this is a higher value task and it costs less time because you can

manage three assistants few hours a week instead of doing the work of three

assistants every day and then the next level would be in when it comes to lead

generation the next level next higher task would be to basically let's call

this manage the manager okay so this means you have somebody let's say a team

grows you have three four five assistants and then you put somebody

there who is the manager of all this he's 100% responsible and he reports to

you so you go one one you climbed the ladder you get one task higher and you

know like you give away responsibility you have less time for that and this

thing is really automated so this is what you should do you should always try

to clamp climb higher and what we try to do here in the long term is we get to I

call this $10,000 per hour tasks so $10,000 per hour tasks means that like

the the tasks that are really valuable for the business in the long term so

sending messages or doing cold calls that's at the beginning it's very

valuable because you need to figure how it works once this is working this is

not very valuable anymore because you know like you have to see the bigger

picture and the bigger picture is you doing them along the cold calls all the

time this is not going to get you anywhere I mean with this system

d-generation say it's project management delivery if you do everything yourself

so if everything is yellow then you're basically a freelancer which is totally

fine and you can probably make one five to six seven thousand dollars a month

this is possible doable I did it myself and this is something that is like kind

of like the you know the babyface before your business really starts becoming a

business being a freelancer that's totally fine but in this case you're

always here in the first level okay and this means that you're exchanging time

for money because it takes two hours a day let's say to do lead generation it

takes one hour or something per consultation call and then you have to

deliver the product product yourself like if you develop websites this takes

you three two weeks so your time is limited so you always exchange time for

money so with this system if everything is yellow you do everything yourself you

can live with that you can travel with that you can you know have enough money

to have a good life but you can never have 100% freedom and you can never grow

your business really big so this above $10,000 a month is not possible okay

and unless you scam people but then you know this is not long-term sustainable

so if you sell them something and then you just don't deliver it

never a crappy product then this might work for one or two months but then you

know like you will never ever get you will get feedback and no testimonials

and all these things so I would not recommend doing that okay next step so

we say we outsource lead generation we outsource delivery because this is very

time consuming to you know let's stay with the example of developing website

or creating animated explainer video this is very very time consuming so you

want to have good guys who do that for you and you just manage them so here

same things happening here from doing delivery you step up to the next step

oops um which is let's say manage delivery team same thing here if you do

this yourself let's stick to the example of creating

website you can maybe create one or two websites per month if you have a team of

five people each of them can create one or two websites a month so suddenly

instead of being able to deliver two products per month you can deliver ten

so this is called scaling so you manage delivery team so you go up in the letter

you know like the more next more important tasks and then here it's

obviously the same sales calls is the like lowest level tasks or let's not

call it sales code let's call it improving improving sales calls because

this is business owner tasks okay you have to do that you can't hire selgeh

sales guy as of day one and just hope that he's gonna do a good job because

it's not gonna work like that and here project management you should

also do this yourself at the beginning until you understand this improving

project management okay so again this is the first level here that we see here

that's the first basic level of the business it's kind of mixed between

freelancer and setting the ground stone for your business and I will tell you

what is the real reason why you're going to want to get past that because the

reason is not that you just want to make a lot of money that's not the main

reason why we're doing this and that's not the

reason why I wanna step up as a freelancer you can already make five six

seven thousand dollars a month with this system you know like only with taking

care of the low value task this is already five six thousand dollars a

month that's already you know good good you know you can you can live well with

this money but there's a bigger reason behind that why want to step up I'm

going to share this in a second but first project manager what you're gonna

do is you manage project management team so before you were able to I don't know

manage three projects demand for four projects now you hire some project

managers two three four guys and suddenly you know your company your

business can manage twenty projects a month so you can serve more clients you

can help more people at the same time by stepping up and what you do is what's

less time-consuming you manage the team you talk to them your feedback them you

check them which is less time-consuming than managing projects yourself and one

important thing here when you hire people doesn't matter if it's here here

or here or delivery you should always hire at least two

people for the same task the reason for that is obvious one person might not be

a good fit one person might drop out at some point so you always want to have

two people because if let's say you only have one project manager in your

business and you manage him and then suddenly he drops out then you have to

go back to project management phase so you have to step step back in the value

letter you never want to do that so this is why you always have at least two

people for one position if one person is dropping out or on holidays the other

person can take over for a while and do you have time to hire somebody new and

trained somebody new okay so managing these guys already buys back your time

and already gives you more freedom and more things more time to focus and more

resources to focus on the high-value tasks so this is stepping up the value

letter ok now you're here already and then the third thing happens the third

step the ultimate step what we did here already is

let's say you promote the best guy of your sales team the person that you

trust the most the person that is most reliable whatever it is one person of

your sales team is promoted to be the manager of the entire sales team so this

means this person is reporting directly to you and you basically don't do

anything any more sales related because you have your

sales team you have your guys and you have one person who is making sure that

they deliver good quality you that they aren't I'm on the calls that you know

like say it's called re-sign to guys and all these things so basically you know

he replaces you with being the manager and you just manage him so whenever

something isn't working you just tell him and he makes sure that you know like

this is spreaded among your among your team and when something in the team is

not working they get up to the to your project manager to your team manager and

he will solve this issue for you and you will only hear about like really big

issues if they don't know what to do if they can't solve it yourself and then

this is very valuable task again to take care for these really big issues you do

the exactly the same of project management but it's a little bit

different for delivery I would say this in a second so here manage the manager

okay so it's the same you promote one person of your project management team

they take over you have more time and you can focus on other things and now

the all deciding thing delivery here you're not gonna promote somebody to be

the manager because the manager of delivery team are the project managers

okay project management managers always you know talk to the delivery guys they

manage them so you don't need a manager of delivery team what is the highest

value task that you can do as a business owner when it comes to delivery and this

is increasing the quality so the highest value tasks that you can do here is

educating yourself reading books finding new better ways new better sister

two may like to increase the quality you know find better guys hire veterans

train them or whatever it is but this is the ultimate goal we can make this let's

make this blue here because it's really important this is what you have to do as

a business owner and now again the idea of stepping up the letter is not because

you're lazy and you want to lie on the beach all day and you don't want to work

at all it's not that you say hey I want to make more money and I want to draw

the business and I need to step up the letter to make more money the real goal

here is to deliver high quality to as many clients as possible to help as many

people as possible so this is your main job and all this stepping up the ladder

here and here and here and also here gives you more time and more resources

to invest in this little point here okay if you have 30 hours a week or 40 hours

a week and you that you work and you have to spread that among project

management little bit sales a little bit lead generation a little bit then you

don't really have much time left to focus on increasing your quality so this

is why you want to step up the letter you want to be here here and here you

want to have all these three pillars hundred percent green one hundred

percent automated you don't have to worry about anything until the manager

of your team comes and has some big issue but apart from that you want them

to take care for everything and you can as a business owner focus on two things

increasing the quality this is like the one big thing you know learning more

about your field improving the quality of being better than everybody else to

help your clients even more and the second thing is figure ways to help more

clients so building a second funnel finding like thinking about things how

to increase the lead generation maybe your first funnel was let's say a

freelancer platform now you could also add

linked it or you can now finally that's the time when you can start cold calling

you do that yourself again you start from zero you start at the with the new

funnel you start from base zero you learn everything yourself at some point

you hire somebody once it's working once you're not improving anymore and then

this per like once there's a team doing that and at some point you don't want to

manage the team anymore so you hire a a manager of the team so you get to ten

thousand dollars in our task but the reason for that is not necessarily that

you just want to become super rich but that you want to grow the business to

help more clients so you build new funnels and to help them better so you

increase the quality so that's the ultimate long-term goal these two things

and this is why you want to grow your business and improve your business and

the nice side effect is that you know you can buy Tesla's and Ferraris if you

want to but the more money the business is making the more revenue the business

is making the bigger the business becomes the more people you can help and

this should be your intention here guys tell me was that interesting for you

usually I'm making a lot of videos me traveling me meeting other

entrepreneurial friends and talking to them and you know just showing in v-loc

style a little bit of my life but today I thought I want to give some hands-on

Brawlhalla Ultimate Guide: Beginner - Part 1 - Duration: 6:19.

Welcome to this series of Brawlhalla guides! This video will help you learn

the game, improve gameplay and teach you everything you need to know about Brawlhalla.

This video in particular will be mostly directed towards new players who

want to pick up Brawlhalla but have no idea how the game works.

Each legend has two weapons, three unique signature attacks per weapon and for

stats. Strength, dexterity, defense and speed. Strength affects how much damage

you deal, and a strength of knock back on your attacks. Dexterity affects how

quickly you recover after missing or landing an attack. Defense affects how

much damage you take and how far away you fly after getting hit. Speed

affects your ground movement speed, air movement speed as well as ground and air

acceleration. Health bars can be seen in the actual game on the top right of your

screen. In the standard rule set every player starts with three stocks. Stocks

represent your total amount of lives. The color of your HP bar represents how much

you'll get knocked back when you're hit. Once one of the players is out of stocks -

the game is finished.

There are three kinds of attacks in brawlhalla. Grounded light attacks which

include: neutral light, side light and down light. Aerial attacks which include:

neutral air, side air, down air, recovery and ground pound. And finally signature

and heavy attacks which include: neutral signature, side signature and down

signature. You can also throw your weapon by pressing the throw button weapon.

Throws deal minor damage and can be used to quickly interrupt your opponent. For

optimal gameplay techniques turn off up to jump and check prioritize neutral /

side in your control settings. This will allow you to better control your jumps

while doing neutral moves and you'll be able to perform neutral attacks while

holding up and right or left directions at the same time.

Pressing left or right will make your character run. Each character has one

grounded jump and two aerial jumps. Recovery doesn't count as a separate

jump but instead can be used to replace jumps. However, if you use more than one

recovery, the follow-up recoveries will be exhausted until you touch the ground.

Holding down while being in the air will make your character fall down faster.

There are four kinds of dodges: aerial directional dodge, aerial spot dodge,

grounded spot dodge and chase dodge. Normally, dodges can be performed in any

direction in the air by pressing the Dodge or dash button,

although on the ground you can only perform directionless spot dodges.

Chase dodge is performed by pressing the dodge dash button in a small timeframe

after landing a hit. Landing a grounded hit can guarantee up

to two chase dodges. Chase dodges are more powerful than normal dodges. They

can be canceled at any time into any attack and for granting more

invincibility frames. Dodge cancels and invincibility frames will be covered

more in depth in the next videos. There are four forms of dashing: forward dash, back

dash, dash jump and sprint. Dashes are performed by holding left and right and pressing

the dodge/dash button at the same time on the ground. A dash jump is performed

by dashing in any direction and pressing jump right afterwards. A sprint is

performed by pressing dash once into any direction and holding that direction

continuously.

Touching a wall will restore your aerial jumps and your recovery but not your

ground jump, which means you will have one wall jump, two aerial jumps and

one recovery. Dodging into the wall will interrupt your dodge immediately. Though

you will still have some of your momentum from the dodge. Although every

wall touch restores your jumps, sitting on the wall forever is impossible in Brawlhalla

because of wall slip, which will be covered more in depth in the next video.

So, where do you start? Practice your movement. Movement is the most important

part of your gameplay. It will help you avoid or deal damage depending on how

good your movement is. Practice dashing forward and dashing back. Remember that a

dash back is slower than dash forward by 4 startup frames, which will be covering more

in depth in future videos also practice your aerial movement. Brawlhalla gives

players a lot of resources to work with in the air. Practice jumping, fast falling

and dodging while you're in the air. Jump fast fall is a very valuable resource

amongst your movement options. Practice it until you can get it consistently.

Also practice recovering back to the stage. Recovering can be done in many,

many ways. Recovering the right way may guarantee that you extend your stock and

build a proper lead. Also be sure to practice very simple two hit combos. You

can find all the combos you need in the "Every combo and string you need to know"

series and remember be sure to come back to this video until you feel you've

mastered all these concepts and techniques then move on to the next video.

effect of intermittent fasting.

It's not really the main reason why you should consider doing intermittent fasting.

It's kind of just a side effect.

There are so many other incredible benefits to just changing when you eat - not even what

you eat, just when you eat.

So one of the reasons that I am so excited about this is that this is something that

I've actually done many times before.

Years ago, in high school even, I kind of did a form of intermittent fasting.

However, there probably wasn't such a thing back then in the eighties.

I always thought that I was doing something wrong, that I was just starving myself, and

that's not what health professionals tell you to do, right?

They tell you, "you have got to eat all day long, eat breakfast, it's the most important

meal of the day, you should eat six to eight small meals throughout the day, eat all day

long," etc.

And, so, this is the stuff that we've been hearing.

Of course, it can work if you eat the right foods.

I've tried it many times, and I don't like eating small meals all day long.

I feel like I'm more hungry when I do that.

But, back to my story about when I've intermittent fasted, or I used to call it, "starving myself."

Now I know better.

But, I have found that's the time that I have lost the most weight and what I used to do

is basically just skip dinner.

Really all intermittent fasting is, is just a shortened eating window is all you're doing.

There are other ways that you can intermittent fast.

This is just one example, but that is the way that I was doing it, is I was skipping

dinner.

I would just quit eating at 4:00 or 5:00, and then not eat at night, and then just eat

breakfast the next day.

Basically, intermittent fasting.

I lost the most weight doing that and I remember feeling really good when I would do that.

I had energy, I remember not really feeling all that hungry and that, you know, that didn't

make sense to me because this is not what you hear.

I have a health education degree, and I've been in the health industry and the field

and just, you know, interested in this field all my life and it's not what you learn.

It's not what you hear is the right way to eat.

I'm here to tell you that it works and there are so many incredible health benefits.

So, let's dive into just an overview of all of the health benefits aside from weight loss.

First of all, I just want to talk really quick about your metabolism because what we hear

is that when you "starve yourself," you're going to ruin your metabolism.

What I have found in the research I've done, I'm reading this book by a doctor who cites

research that has shown that your metabolism is not affected until about three or four

days of not eating.

They have found, actually, that your metabolism increases after a fast.

Let me just go over some just kind of bullet points of what intermittent fasting can do

for you.

It can produce massive fat burning and weight loss

Increased human growth hormone, which we will talk about

Enhanced brain function (who doesn't want enhanced brain function?

You want to be a little smarter.

That's okay!).

Especially as we age, it seems my brain doesn't work as well as it used to.

Insulin sensitivity.

So we're going to talk a little bit about insulin.

Improvement of beneficial gut bacteria

Reduction in cancer

Leptin sensitivity, which is another hormone that we will discuss

Ghrelin hormone normalization

Decreased sugar cravings

Decreased oxidation stress

Increased lifespan

So, that's kind of a quick overview.

Now let's talk about hormones because that is what intermittent fasting has the most

effect on.

And there's all these incredible hormones that do all these crazy things in our body,

and intermittent fasting can help control those and will do things that will benefit

you, it's just amazing.

Let's talk about the first one.

The first one I'm going to discuss is Leptin.

Leptin is commonly called the fat hormone.

That hormone limits your cravings, and it helps you feel full and satiated when you

eat.

And so, when you fast, you increase your Leptin.

And so when you eat, you feel more full.

Now, the other hormone opposite from that is called Ghrelin.

And Ghrelin is your hunger hormone.

So when you fast, the Ghrelin hormone actually decreases.

And so you don't feel hungry all the time.

And I don't know if you've ever gone without food, like you got really busy and you forgot

to eat, and you get hungry, right?

But then after a little bit of time, it kind of just goes away.

You're not hungry anymore, and that's Ghrelin working.

So, Ghrelin also, when you eat all day long or you eat like a big carb meal, Ghrelin will

be produced in your body.

And so I don't know if you've noticed sometimes too, when you eat a huge meal, you're so stuffed

and maybe it was a lot of carbs, like pizza and bread, and then like, I don't know, hour

or two later you're hungry again?

Why would I be hungry after eating that big meal with all the carbs?

It's because of ghrelin.

Okay?

So, Ghrelin will make you hungry.

So, again, intermittent fasting will slow the Ghrelin hormone down.

Now Insulin, we have all heard of insulin.

Insulin tells our body to store fat.

Insulin is very interesting.

The more sensitive you are to insulin, the more likely you will be using the food you

consume efficiently.

So, fasting will increase your sensitivity to insulin and there's another aspect of insulin

that we'll get to, but I haven't talked about the other hormone yet.

And that's human growth hormone.

And human growth hormone and insulin kind of work opposite of each other.

They aren't produced at the same time in your body.

They have to be at different times.

So let's talk about that a little bit.

Okay.

So one of the main hormones affected by intermittent fasting is called human growth hormone.

And this hormone is responsible for a ton of important bodily functions and health and

bunch of stuff.

So we're going to talk about human growth hormone next.

Human growth hormone is responsible for muscle building and fat loss, and it helps with metabolism.

So, human growth hormone and insulin actually work opposite of each other.

So, now I want to kind of talk about how they work together and how fasting will help with

human growth hormone production.

Growth Hormone is higher in the morning after you've slept because you haven't eaten.

There's no glycogen.

Your body has used up all the glucose and glycogen in your body, and so your body will

produce human growth hormone and insulin will be really low at that point because you have

no glucose, and you haven't eaten.

So, they work opposite of each other.

The more sensitive you are to insulin, the more human growth hormone you will secrete.

They also have found that when women and men intermittent fast, you can increase your human

growth hormone production by up to 2000 percent in men and 1500 percent in women.

That's pretty huge.

The other important thing to think about when we're talking about human growth hormone is

that it is only released when there's no insulin in your bloodstream, and that will only happen

when you're in a fasted state.

So, that's why it's higher in the morning when you haven't been eating, and that's why

fasting more often will help you increase your human growth hormone, thereby increasing

your metabolism, and increasing your muscle gain.

I mean, if you're lifting weight, that's a good thing!

I also saw on here and in the book that I was reading that with intermittent fasting

compared to calorie restrictive diets, you end up losing a lot less muscle.

A lot of times, you know, with the low calorie diets, you're going to lose a lot of muscle

tone along with fat.

And with intermittent fasting, I think it was like 10 percent versus 25 percent of muscle

loss with calorie restrictive diets and 10 percent with intermittent fasting.

So, that's helpful because, you know, the more muscle you have, the higher your metabolism

and the more fat you're going to burn.

They all work really well together.

I hope that this kind of gave you a little insight into intermittent fasting.

There's so much more information that I just can't share on one video, but I will be sharing

more as I learn more and as I try it myself.

I've been testing it, different ways of doing it, and I'm finding really the main thing

that I feel is free.

I feel freedom.

I don't feel like I have to eat a certain way and be stuck on this, you know, set of

rules about how what I should eat and I like to eat and I like to kind of eat what I want.

I don't like to eat salad all the time, or high protein, and whatever.

I feel freedom in that I don't have to count calories or anything.

I've lost weight.

I don't get on the scale a lot, so I don't know how much I've lost yet, but I can tell

I've lost weight.

My energy level is high.

I did share on one blog post, or one social media post, that I was having some depression

issues and that's actually been going on for a couple of years.

I don't know if it's due just to intermittent fasting, and there's some other things going

on with me, but I feel a lot better.

I don't have the same sadness going on that I've felt, at least not as consistently.

I did read somewhere that this helps with depression as well.

I think the benefits will go on and on and on, and we will find out that this is a miracle

cure for so many things.

I just think it's super exciting because it's something that one simple thing that I can

do and I can change my health in so many ways.

Weight loss is, like I said, it's kind of a side effect.

Anyway, I hope that this was interesting to you and stay tuned for more on this topic.

I promise.

Part 2: A Family's Guide to Understanding Annotated Evaluation and Reevaluation Reports - Duration: 13:17.

Welcome this series of five presentations was developed to educate families about recent updates to

Annotated evaluation and re-evaluation

report forms

While the law has not changed changes were made to the annotated report forms in early 2016

Annotated forms are designed to provide notes for better understanding of each section of the forms

Where can you find the handouts that accompany this presentation? They are on PEAL's website and PaTTAN's website

On many slides you will find a folder icon in the upper right hand corner

Which tells you the handouts that support the information on that slide

This is part 2 which focuses on the permission to evaluate form for the initial evaluation?

You

We have divided the content into five parts of 15 to 30 minutes each

We recommend that the viewer watch the parts in order as the information builds from one to the next

the five parts of the series are listed on this slide as

You can see part two, which is highlighted reviews in depth the form and process involved in

Requesting and providing permission for a child to be evaluated for special education services for the first time

Throughout this presentation series the word parent refers to parent or guardian

The permission to evaluate form is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to school districts for their use

School districts are permitted to add information to the form or put the form onto their own letterhead

so the form you receive may look exactly like the one we are sharing if

You're tired already has an IEP

Then you and your child have already gone through this process of an initial evaluation

part 5 of this series

addresses the re-evaluation process if you are interested in learning more about that process if

You are viewing these presentations for your own information and your child already has an IEP

Then you may wish to skip this part

However, if you want to learn about the entire process so that you can assist and/or advocate with other families

You will definitely want to view this part

When a student is struggling in school there is a formal process for

initiating an evaluation for special education services and

obtaining consent from the family as

A result of this presentation. We hope that you will be able

to

describe the process for requesting and of an initial evaluation for special education services for a child and

Describe how to respond when the school district initiates every quest to evaluate a child

To see if they are eligible for special education

services

When a parent requests an initial evaluation and the school agrees

Then the school issues this form to obtain parent consent to conduct an evaluation

The date when the signed permission to evaluate consent form is received by the school

Starts the 60 calendar day timeline in which the evaluation must be completed

Parents may be told that there is a waiting list for services

If you are told that there should be no waiting list for an evaluation

School districts often provide additional help in regular education classes for students who are struggling

This kind of extra help is called many names one of which is RTI response to intervention

Which is a common name?

These extra efforts provided in regular education should not be a barrier for parent requests for their child to be

evaluated

Parents may need to be assertive in some cases to get the school district to issue the permission to evaluate form

but it is a parent's right to request it if they feel an evaluation is needed if

your district refuses to evaluate they must issue a NOREP and notice a recommended educational placement and

Provide the reason or reasons why they are refusing

Parents have a right to disagree with the norm and exercise their rights to get the dispute resolved

the annotated NOREP explains this in more detail as

You can see in the upper right hand corner. You can see the folder icon that we referenced on

page one of the annotated

Evaluation report the critical dates and timelines are reviewed

You can learn more about this topic by looking at the other handouts

Some core vocabulary on this slide notice a recommended educational placement NOREP--

Prior written notice is the late last part of the evaluation process

It indicates agreement with the action taken

If a parent suspects that their child may have a disability and would benefit from specially designed instruction

they should inform a school professional which could be a teacher a counselor an

administrator or even a psychologist

Most requests are verbal

but to ensure this process has a set beginning a parent should put their request in writing and

Keep a copy of that written request

Be sure that the written request is dated

School districts have a responsibility

to identify students needing special education

this is called child find and schools do this in various ways from publishing information on their website or

newsletters to outlining the steps that teachers and

Administrators must take when they have a concern that a child may be in need of special education services

The first step that a school district must take if they think a child may need special education

Services is to issue a permission to evaluate consent form to the family

So that the family can provide informed consent

Consent is defined as the parent agreeing with the school to do an initial evaluation

And the parent signs to show that they understand the types of tests

assessments and evaluations that will be given to the students specifically for the purposes of the evaluation a

Family should not be surprised by receiving a permission to evaluate consent form

the school should be communicating with the family about the types of concerns that would lead to issuing a

permission to evaluate form for a child for

special education services

If a family receives a permission to evaluate consent form and it takes them by surprise

They should ask questions of the school and consider contacting peel or another one of the workgroup partners

That we introduced in the beginning of this presentation

All of the partners are able to provide assistance and support

Families through this process and answer any questions

Although a parent has the right to refuse an offer of an evaluation for their child if

The parent refuses the offer for an evaluation

the school may take the parent to due process or

Move to dispute resolution. It is not mandated that the school take the parent to due process

when a parent refuses and the value

Again you may want to call peel or one of the partners for questions

Their contact information is on the last slide

Parents should never feel pressured into signing a permission to evaluate consent form

but parents should know the reason why the school district feels an evaluation is needed a

Two-way conversation to understand the supports that a child needs to be successful in school benefits the student

Sometimes those conversations may lead to solutions

It's important to know that a there are timelines for the process and be where you can find the information

The initial evaluation must be completed and the evaluation report

Given to parents within 60 calendar days of the date that the parent provided written consent

60 days is calendar days except for the summer break

Staff and in-service days are counted as part of the 60 day timeline

The December holiday break is counted in the 60 days

During the time in which the initial evaluation is being completed the school should continue to provide any additional

interventions that have been put into place a

School may be implementing response to intervention to try different strategies to help a child learn

However, this does not preclude an evaluation for special education

Again, look in the upper right hand corner folder icon to follow along in the annotated evaluation report

The information in the evaluation report is used to develop the initial IEP or individualized

education program for the student if the student qualifies for special education in

Part three of this series. We will review the evaluation report in depth

Let's stop and think about what these last few slides on parent request versus school requests might mean to your child

your situation

Cindy what do you think are some reasons why a parent would want to request or not request an evaluation?

Well if my child were struggling with academics or with behavior

I think I would ask the school to do an evaluation to find out what my child might have

What if the school sent a permission to evaluate consent form for your child would you agree or not agree

Okay, I think that would depend if I felt my child needed more support than they were currently getting in the classroom

I would probably agree

There are also some circumstances where I might feel that the school can provide more help in the general education class

Like to just move him to the front of the room

Now families think about your own situation

In

Your case has a request for evaluation been made. If so who requested it why if

A request has not been made. Are you thinking about requesting an evaluation? Why or why not?

Did you or would you agree to request for evaluation of your child why or why not

There are a lot of different decisions that have to be made if you have questions that are specific to your own experiences

Please refer to the partners contact page for more help

Let's review the key points to remember from heart to a

Parent who suspects that their child might need special education services can request an initial evaluation

Parents must sign a permission to evaluate consent form in order for the school to conduct an initial evaluation

for special education services a

Parent has the right to disagree with the school districts proposal for an initial evaluation

but a school district may pursue due process an

Initial evaluation must be completed an evaluation report provided to the parents within 60 calendar days

You've completed part two of this series

We recommend that the viewer watch the parts in order as the information builds from one to the other

the next topic focuses on the evaluation process

Part 3: A Family's Guide to Understanding Annotated and Evaluation and Reevaluation Reports - Duration: 15:45.

Welcome

this series of five presentations was developed to educate families about recent updates to

the annotated evaluation and re-evaluation

report forms

While the law has not changed changes were made to the annotated report forms in early 2016

Annotated forms are designed to provide notes for better understanding of each section of the form

Where can you find the handouts that accompany this presentation on?

PEAL's website and on PaTTAN's website

On many slides you will find a folder icon in the upper right hand corner

Which tells you the handouts that support the information on that slide

This is part three which focuses on the evaluation process and report

You

We have divided the content into five parts of 15 to 30 minutes each

We recommend that the viewer watch the parts in order as the information builds from one to the next

the five parts of the series are listed on this slide as

You can see part three which is highlighted reviews in depth the annotated

evaluation report

Throughout this presentation series the word parent refers to the parent or guardian

In this part of the series we will walk through the annotated evaluation report in detail

the evaluation report is a comprehensive document that summarizes all the information that has been gathered throughout the process and

Comes to a conclusion regarding whether or not the student meets the two prong criteria for special education

remember the two prong criteria that determines eligibility for special education is

number one that a child have an IDEA category disability and

Two as a result in need of specially designed instruction

and/or related services

this concept is covered in depth in part two of the presentation series if

A student is found eligible

Then the contents of the report are used to develop the initial IEP or individualized

education program

As a result of participating in this presentation. We hope that you will be able to

Explain why parent input to the evaluation report is important

describe ways to provide parent input as an evaluation team member and

List and describe the key parts of the evaluation report

Section 1 of the evaluation report is titled reason for referral

This section should provide a detailed description of the reasons that the school or family

requested the initial evaluation

It's important that this section is well thought-out includes all reasons that the students being referred for evaluation

For special education because all of the other sections of the evaluation report refer back to this section

The areas of concern listed in this section guide the tests and other assessments that are done for the evaluation

it's possible that during the evaluation process new questions or concerns may arise if

This happens and the parent must provide consent for the team to address any

Areas that were not included on the permission to evaluate consent form that was signed to get the process started

you

Section 2 of the evaluation report describes all of the information gathered during the assessment process

we will walk you through each of the seven sub sections listed on this slide as we move forward the

Annotated evaluation report is a helpful resource to review to understand and remember what should be covered in each piece

of the report

Take note of the folder icon in the upper right corner to identify which page of the annotated evaluation report

corresponds to the information on the slide

To learn more you may also want to review the elements of a well-rounded evaluation handout that is listed as well

Part A includes information

Provided directly by the parent or guardian and can also include information or reports from private providers such as speech and language

therapists pediatricians

independent evaluators or other specialists

Parent input to the evaluation is vital in the annotation regarding parent input

it is noted that information provided by the parent is included in this section and taken into consideration as

decisions regarding eligibility

for special education and program design are made as

You can see in the annotation if the school is not able to get information from the parents

They must note in detail how they try to get input

The evaluation team can obtain information from parents in many ways

It can be collected from written response interview or other appropriate methods

Each parent knows their child best and can provide information that is not always obvious to others who do not know their child. Well,

Parents can decide what information to provide what is relevant and should be shared as well as what is

Confidential and should not be shared in a report that may be seen by future unknown school personnel

When having a candid conversation parents can specify what information they do or do not want to be included in the evaluation report

Cindy how would you share an example of a specific concern about your child?

Well a parent can submit a video for example

Let's say behaviors where they have concern

I've provided information regarding

My child's lack of friends

lack of social skills

Or sometimes difficulty initiating a conversation

Part B includes descriptions from school personnel who have observed the child as part of the evaluation process any

Observations should be specific to the child

Documented in the evaluation and should give insight to how the child is functioning in that particular setting including both strengths and needs

Remember under IDEA parents have the right to request evaluation of all areas of disability

Parents can help identify the focus for observations to help assess any concerns

For example

if a child has a behavior issue the parent can request observation of the child's behaviors in various activities, if

A child is struggling and reading then an observation of the child engaged in reading activities should be included

Observations and statements from various professionals and other school personnel

Who have direct contact with the child are included in this section?

This may include input from paraprofessionals or teachers aides who work with students

Depending upon their training and specific responsibilities

Please note the folder icon in the upper right-hand corner for the annotated evaluation report on page three

Part C includes teacher recommendations these recommendations are to be based on data that has been collected by the teacher

On the slide you see examples of some of the data that may be used to develop teacher recommendations

Objective student data is what should drive the evaluation

teacher recommendations based on impressions or opinions about student performance

Should not be included in an evaluation report

Part D should include documentation of any physical social or cultural background or

Adaptive behavior that may affect a student's school performance

There are many reasons outside of the presence of a disability that may lead to a student having difficulty in school

this section is the place to document relevant information necessary for the

Multidisciplinary evaluation team to make an accurate decision about the student's eligibility

for special education and education programming

The report should include information about either the presence of an issue

For an example chronic health problems or English language learner

Or the lack of an issue for example hearing and vision screening results were within normal limits

Appropriate assessments must be conducted and information gathered to address these issues thoroughly

Part-ii is the last part of section 2 and is the place where the results of all tests or other?

Assessments that were conducted are listed and described

The results of assessments are included here as well and should be written in plain language

That is understandable to families

Remember when parents signed the permission to evaluate consent form

They are signing to show that they understand the types of tests

assessments and evaluations

That will be given to the student

specifically for the purposes of the evaluation

Parents need to understand the nature of evaluation what components and why that tool is chosen

prior to the evaluation being conducted

The types of tools that are used in the evaluation process

Depend upon the specific concerns about the child's educational performance

The handout common assessment tools

list and describes formal assessment tools

frequently used in an evaluation

for special education

it

is required that the most recent version of

Formal assessment tools are used in an evaluation for special education services

Engine three in this section the report must address any assessment that was not conducted under standard

Conditions and described the extent to which the assessment varied from standard conditions

This includes noting if the assessment was given to the student in the students native language or other mode of communication

This information about how the assessment was conducted is

important because it may impact how the evaluation team utilizes the results of the assessment if

All assessments were conducted under standard conditions. The report should state that the evaluation was conducted under standard conditions

When reviewing the report a parent may question whether standard testing conditions were observed and the results valid

was the student ill that day was extra time given a

Qualified person must be responsible for gathering and reporting all of the information in the evaluation report

including observations testing

discussions etc

For example a gym teacher can discuss a child's difficulty in reading but this does not replace a full reading evaluation

Another example a school guidance counselor who has no expertise about both deafblindness

Provides one observation of a student who experiences deafblindness regarding his behavior

while each of these professionals are able to provide

observations about the student their input doesn't relieve the school district's obligation to see that the students observed and

Evaluated by a professional with expertise in either the areas of reading or for deafblindness

Examples of information that might be included in this section are

Reading a test aloud to a student when the test is not a reading assessment

Giving a student extra time to complete the test

providing pacing breaks during an assessment

providing different lighting

using American Sign Language or translating an assessment into another language

Or the use of an augmentative communication device to administer an assessment

this information is helpful in interpreting the results of

Assessments as well as identifying potential specially designed instruction that might be needed if the student qualifies to receive special education services

Skewed results are a change to how an assessment is administered and may drastically

change the results for better or worse and may not be a true measure of the child's disability a

Variance in standard conditions occurs when the method of test administration is

Adjusted not adhering to the standard directions

Section four of the evaluation report is titled determining factors

This section was added to the evaluation report in 2004 to ensure that children are not

Identified as needing special education simply because the student isn't being taught properly in

This section the evaluation report must provide evidence to support whether a lack of appropriate

instruction is the reason the student is struggling a

Yes response means there is clear evidence that the student is struggling due to a lack of

appropriate instruction

Then the student would not be eligible for special education

But may be eligible for remediation or a change in the instruction approach

Requiring the team to consider whether or not a student has received appropriate instruction is

Intended to result in only students who truly qualify for special education services to be identified as needing

special education supports

Let's review the key points to remember from part three

Parent input to the evaluation report is vital

There are various ways to provide parent input as an evaluation team member

The annotated evaluation report is a helpful tool to know what to look for in each section of the report

In

Part four of the presentation. We will review the remaining component of the evaluation report

Which is the summary of findings where all of the information covered in part three is?

Summarized and the determination is made about whether or not the student qualifies for special education

We will also review parent rights to procedural safeguards in the evaluation process

Gun Mechanics: Overlooked Controls & Tactics - Red Dead Redemption 2 - Gun Guide - Duration: 4:46.

Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Andrew and welcome to a gun guide for Red Dead Redemption 2. In this guide

I'm gonna be quickly showing you some of the gun mechanics. In most shooter games

the mechanics are generally the same. You pretty much just aim and

Pull the trigger to shoot. It's not all that different in Red Dead Redemption 2, but there are some minor differences. Now

I'm going to assume that you know

The basic controls. What we're going to do is quickly look at the overlooked controls and tactics

Now first thing you want to note is that tapping R2 will actually un-holster your weapon

Faster than using L1

If your unarmed, it will automatically select your sidearm by default

This tactic is also pretty useful if you want to shoot and fire behind you right away

With the gun un-holstered pressing lightly on R2 will actually allow you to aim from the hip

not entirely too useful, but it works if you want to try and maybe aim a little bit better and

Feather the hammer. Now with the gun holstered lightly pressing on R2 will actually initiate a draw

Anywhere, literally anywhere that will allow you to use a gun

This is pretty handy if you want to go straight into Dead eye without having to

Worry about being killed by whoever's trying to attack you in situations where you're being ambushed or situations where you're being held up

Now while aiming your gun pressing the camera button will instantly switch between first-person and third-person

Pressing left on the d-pad will switch shoulders

pressing up on the d-pad allows you to fire a warning shot in the air and

Pressing Square will allow you to dodge

It also allows you to get dirty

If you're using a scoped weapon

While aiming pressing down on the d-pad will actually allow you to scope in. If you're using a non scoped weapon

While you're in first-person mode

pressing down on the d-pad

Allows you to use the iron sight. Pressing R3 while you're in first-person mode without aiming allows you to do an instant

360°. While you're in third-person mode and you have your primary side arm equipped double tapping L1 will

Pull off a little trick that you can do to holster it. Now for the sake of this video

We're going to assume that there are only two important firing mechanisms

You might notice in some situations where you're hiding behind cover. There's bullets flying everywhere

It's absolute chaos

*Sombre & dark music starts playing*

*Gunfire, gunfire everywhere*

*Lady starts humming or some shit*

It's like every single enemy is just firing

directly at you despite the fact that there might be other people to shoot at. You go to fire a shot and

that works perfectly fine, but then you go to pull the trigger a second time and

No bullet comes out now. You're kind of a sitting duck. The first couple of times this happened to me

I actually thought that it was a bug or a glitch but this is because there are manual hammers and

Automatic hammers. What that means is you press the right trigger to fire once

Again to cock the hammer and then again to fire

This method is probably safer against things that don't shoot back like these trees a safer tactic is to aim

Fire go back into cover then aim again

the reason why is because Arthur will

Automatically cock the hammer when you go to aim. With an automatic hammer, like the double action revolver here. You can fire at your heart's content

One thing to note is that guns that use a manual

mechanism are usually more accurate than guns that don't. Also don't be quick to judge a

Firearm too early because the more you use a gun the more Arthur improves with that weapon

That's him firing with a cattle man revolver after probably

About 20 hours or more using that particular gun, and that's it. That's all you really need to know

Now you can go and use what you have learnt to shoot some dangerous trees like this one here

Look at him. Look at him sneaking up behind me. I can see him

You see him looking at me. You see him see him. We're gonna get him we're gonna oh,

You see that he didn't see that coming

Yeah

that's one tree that

Went ahead and made my day. If you enjoyed the video leave a comment down below, I'd really appreciate that

Part 5: A Family's Guide to Understanding Annotated and Evaluation and Reevaluation Reports - Duration: 13:46.

Welcome

This series of five presentations was developed to educate families about recent updates to annotated evaluation and re-evaluation

report forms

While the law has not changed changes were made to the annotated report forms in early 2016

Annotated forms are designed to provide notes for a better understanding of each section of the forms

Where can you find the handouts that accompany this presentation on the PEAL website and on the PaTTAN website?

On many slides you will find a folder icon in the upper right hand corner, which tells you the handouts that support

the information on that slide

This is part 5 which focuses on the re-evaluation process?

You

We have divided the content into five parts of 15 to 30 minutes each

We recommend that the viewer watches the parts in order as the information builds from one to the next

The five parts of the series are listed on this slide as you can see part 5 which is highlighted

reviews in depth the re-evaluation report

Evaluation and re-evaluation are the processes for gathering data to determine if a child needs special education

and if so the types of programs and services needed

Throughout this presentation series the word parent will refer to a parent or guardian

This is the final section of this series

This section reviews the special education reevaluation process and report that is generated

Once a child has an IEP

Then periodic reevaluation are required and a reevaluation report is generated

there are many similarities between the evaluation report and the re-evaluation report in

this session we will review the details of the revaluation process and the report that is generated as

a result of participating in this presentation

We hope that you will be able to

Describe when parents have to give consent for a revaluation

Identify reasons for conducting a reevaluation

describe re-evaluation timelines

list the sections of the re-evaluation report and

Define how a parent can proceed if they disagree with the school team's conclusions or willingness to conduct or re-evaluation

The sections of the re-evaluation report are very similar to those in the evaluation report and include a summary of information

reviewed and conclusions

However, an important difference is that a revaluation may not require the collection of additional data

the IEP team determines whether additional data is needed so that a revaluation may consist of a

Review of existing data such as homework

classroom tests

progress and IEP goals

Or results of standardized tests like dibbles or reading assignment

PS SAS or other achievement tests

If the IEP team has determined that additional data is needed

Then the collection analysis of new data such as an assistive technology evaluation a functional behavior assessment

Or other additional academic testing or other assessments will be done

remember parent input into the reevaluation process is vital, even when the IEP team is only reviewing existing data in

The annotation regarding parent input it is noted that information provided by the parent

included in this section and taken into consideration as

Decisions regarding eligibility for special education and program design are made

The evaluation team can obtain information from parents in many ways

It can be collected from it in responses interviews and other appropriate methods

The evaluation report also includes determination for specific learning disability if needed

Again the first step in the reevaluation process is for the IEP team to review existing data and

determine whether new data is needed a

Review of existing data by the IEP team does not require the parent to sign a permission to reevaluate

consent form because no new information is being collected if

the team proposes to collect new data

Then the parent must sign a consent form

consent is when the parent agrees with the school to do in a reevaluation and their signature indicates that they

understand the types of tests

assessments and evaluations that will be given to the student but specifically for the purposes of

re-evaluation if

the parent is not in agreement with the proposed types of testing or doesn't

Understand the testing then they may request additional or different types of evaluations

The parents should let the school know that they don't agree and share their concerns and the

Evaluation team may agree to make changes

Parents have a right to request an re-evaluation. We suggest that a parent always make this request in writing

Whether a parent makes the request orally or in writing the school district must respond

Within 10 calendar days after the request is made

The school district must provide a permission to reevaluate request form for the parent to complete

Once the written request is received the process continues as was described in the previous slide

Revaluation must occur every three years for all students except for those students who have been identified

with an intellectual disability

Students identified with an intellectual disability must be re-evaluated every two years

There is a process for an IEP team to waive the need for

Completing of re-evaluation if the school district and parent mutually agree

however, this is not an option for a student with an intellectual disability the

Annotated re-evaluation report lists five reasons for conducting every evaluation

Common reasons might be if the child's performance

indicates a need

may be the anniversary date is approaching or

requests by parents or local Education Agency LEA

Typically referred to as the school district

Other reasons might include the student moves from one le.a to another in, Pennsylvania

Or a student is transitioning from early intervention to school-age services

There may be some other reasons why the parent or the school might want to re-evaluate that are not based on the timeline

They may include that a child is not making progress

changes and behavior are seen or a

child is making a transition if

Interventions are no longer working or meeting. The child's needs a

revaluation can support the team to consider new services for example assistive technology might be

Something that will take place during this evaluation

Children experienced many important transitions in school

such as moving from early intervention to kindergarten or moving to middle school at

Times of transition it is especially important that the IEP team

Accurately understands the child's strengths and needs so that the child can achieve meaningful

educational progress in the new setting a

Formal reevaluation is one way to gather and share current information

When preparing for a transition it is particularly important that the team has access to current data and information

Every evaluation may be needed to help the team to create an IEP that is based on

Present level of academic and functional skills to best meet the child's needs

It is important to know that a there are timelines for the process and be where you can find the information

the re-evaluation

must be completed and the report given to parents within 60 calendar days of

the date that the parent provided written consents

So for example, if a parent provides consent on May 1st, it is likely that the re-evaluation

Will not be completed until the following school year

Due to the fact that summer vacation is not included in the timeline

Remember

Parents or the school district may request a revaluation more frequently than the two or three year anniversary dates

The information in the re-evaluation report is used to develop the next IP for the student

Parents should review the report before the IEP meeting to make sure that they understand it

identify any questions to ask the school psychologist and

highlight important information that they may expect to see in the IEP

for example

If the re-evaluation report notes that the student makes better progress if directions are given in small chunks

Then that strategy should be included in the specially designed instruction on the IEP it

Is important to understand that 60 days is calendar days except for summer break

staff and in-service days are counted as part of the 60 day timeline and

the

December holiday break is counted in the 60 days

When parents believe that every evaluation is needed more often than once every three years

It is most often due to concerns about academic progress it

Is not unreasonable for parents to know what their child's level of academic performance

Through formal testing by the team as curriculum-based

Assessments may not answer all of a parent's questions once every three years

Particularly in cases where their child has not made significant progress or meaningful progress

If a school district denies a request for formal

re-evaluation beyond a view of

review of records

The parents should know exactly how things will proceed from that denial which would include the issuing of an or up

prior written notice

School districts can deny a parent request for re-evaluation

however, if the school district denies the request the school districts must provide a notice of recommended

educational placement

NOREP or prior written notice at

This point the parent might want to use their procedural safeguards in order to resolve the disagreement

Please be sure to visit the peel website on the Rights done rights video series

In review to be sure that you understand the highlights of this section

Re-evaluations must be conducted every three years or every two years for student with an intellectual disability

Re-evaluations may be only a review of existing data or include new testing assessments or evaluations

Parents must give consent if new information is being collected during the evaluation and

Re-evaluations may be conducted more frequently due to parent or school request

You have completed part 5 of this series this concludes the presentation a families guide to understanding

Part 1: A Family's Guide to Understanding Annotated and Evaluation and Reevaluation Reports - Duration: 18:48.

Welcome

This series of five webinars was developed to educate families about recent updates to annotated evaluation and re-evaluation

report forms

While the law has not changed changes were made to the annotated report forms in early 2016

Annotated forms are designed to provide notes for better understanding of each section of the forms

Where can you find the handouts that accompany this presentation on

PEAL's website and on the PaTTAN website on many slides you will find a folder icon in the upper

right hand corner

Which tells you which handouts support the information on that slide

This is part 1 which focuses on the federal and state special education laws related to evaluation and re-evaluation

The contents of this webinar series were developed and organized by the evaluation workgroup

Pio was charged with bringing together a group of cross disability organizations from across, Pennsylvania to form this workgroup

Pennsylvania Department of Education Bureau of special education provide funding for the PEAL Center to facilitate the evaluation workgroup and

To develop training for families about the annotated evaluation and re-evaluation forms

The workgroup includes representatives from statewide family organizations including Mission empower

the autism connection of Pennsylvania

Disability Rights, Pennsylvania

Temple University Institute on disability autism sharing and parenting

Peak the pennsylvania education for all coalition

the pennsylvania branch of the international dyslexia Association

The parent education and advocacy leadership center and many other family perspectives

We have divided the content into five parts of 15 to 30 minutes each

We recommend that the viewer watch the parts in order as the information builds from one to the next

The five parts of the series are listed on this slide as you can see part 1 which is highlighted

focuses on federal and Pennsylvania special education law

core vocabulary in this part includes

evaluation and re-evaluation

these are the processes for gathering data to determine if a child needs special education, and if so,

the types of programs and services needed

I da is federal special education law and chapter 14 is

Pennsylvania regulations governing special education

viewing them side by side allows you to see what Pennsylvania regulations contain that are in addition to the I DEA requirements in

This section the core vocabulary

includes the individuals with Disabilities Education Act or idea

This is the federal law ensuring services to children with disabilities

Throughout the nation IDEA governs how states and public agencies provide early intervention

Special education and related services to more than 6.5 million eligible

infants toddlers children and youth with disabilities it

Is important to remember that ID a is an entitlement program?

This means that the school districts cannot use

We cannot afford it or we don't have the money as a reason for not providing services

Education is an entitlement to children who are eligible under IDEA

The evaluation process gathers the information that will be used to determine if your child needs special education

and if so the types of programs and services needed

Chapter 14 is Pennsylvania's state regulation to implement the federal legislation. IDEA in

The upper right hand corner of this slide. You can see the folder icon

This is a reference to the side-by-side document. You can learn more about this topic by looking at that handout

Understanding how federal and state law is form the basis for evaluation and re-evaluation will help the parent through the evaluation process

When a student is being evaluated in school these laws and regulations provide the process for determining whether or not the student is eligible

for special education and developing an appropriate individualized education program or IEP

to meet those needs as

A result of this presentation. We hope you will be able to

define how students are found eligible for special education

As a result of the evaluation and re-evaluation

processes

give examples of IDE a category disabilities and

Defined specially designed instruction and related services

This slide includes many tenants or key ideas from IDEA that individuals with Disabilities Education Act

Read the slide to identify a tenant of the law that you find most meaningful

Note which phrase you find most meaningful and why it's meaningful to you

Disability is a natural part of the human experience and in no way diminishes the right of the individual to participate

In or contribute to society

People who select a number one often mentioned that disability affects everyone at some point in their lives and is an overarching reminder

Parents should be informed decision makers

This tenant speaks to the importance of parents on an IEP team and that they are equal partners

The school has a responsibility to provide parents with the information needed to make an informed decision

Children with disabilities must be educated with their non-disabled peers in the least restrictive environment

LRE to the maximum extent appropriate

Special education is a service and not a place

Number 3 addresses the importance of inclusion and that the law provides a strong basis for advocating for inclusion

Even if the word itself is not in the law

Multidisciplinary evaluation

Must be completed to ensure a full view of the disability

Number 4 reminds us that the evaluation is based on a suspected disability

But that it is must be confirmed by looking at the whole realm of possible needs as well as strengths

An individualized education program is a plan or program developed to ensure that an eligible child who has a disability

Identified under the law and is attending a public elementary or secondary school

receives specialized instruction and related services

least restrictive environment

referred to as LRE is a

Continuum and a reminder that special education is a service

Not a place

Students are to be educated with typical peers to the maximum extent appropriate

Students receive all the supports and services. They need to be successful in the general education classroom

They do not have to go to another classroom or place to receive special education services

Supplementary aids and services means aids

services and other supports that are provided in regular education classes and other

education related settings and in

extracurricular and non-academic settings to enable children with disabilities to be educated with

Non-disabled peers to the maximum extent appropriate

Multidisciplinary evaluation

Referred to as MDE is a process to gather information

to determine if a child has a disability and need special education, and if so,

The types of services needed it

Is typically performed by more than one individual and uses a variety of tools to help determine eligibility for special education

Note again the icon at the top right hand corner of the slide where you can find additional supplementary resources

You may wish to review them independently to learn more about this topic

Both IDEA and chapter 14 require that the evaluation for special education

determines whether or not a student meets two requirements

This is often referred to as a two prong test of eligibility

the evaluation team must agree that the student has one of the IDE a

Category disabilities and that as a result the student needs specially designed instruction

and/or related services

So let's explore some real examples a

Child is being evaluated for special education

But the decision depends upon whether the student meets the definition for one of the IDE a category

disabilities and whether they need specially designed instruction and related services in

One example the team may determine that

the child meets the definition for other health impairment or autism or specific learning disabilities and

Is experiencing complex?

Instructional challenges in some classes which requires specially designed instruction

This student meets both prongs

In contrast a student may need health-related supports due to their disability, but does not need specially designed instruction

So the student does not qualify for special education because they only meet one prong

The point here is there are a lot of it depends situations

often the determinations are complex, which is why the child needs to be evaluated if

You need individualized support and thinking about your child's individual situation

You could contact your local school district and you might want to ask your teacher. Who should you talk to?

You can go to peel or any of the evaluation workgroup participants

Who are listed on the last slide for their contact information?

Some core vocabulary on this slide specially designed instruction

Which is changes

adaptations

accommodations needed for the student to access the general education curriculum

This is what will make this child successful in school

This slide lists all the IDE a category disabilities

There are definitions of the 13 disability categories and federal definitions guide

How states define who is eligible for a free appropriate public education?

under I DEA as

We explain later if you suspect that your child has a disability

You have the right to request an evaluation you

Don't have to have a medical diagnosis from a doctor to be evaluated

The parent does not have to have a specific disability category in mind it

is the evaluation team's role to assess the strengths and the needs and determine what if any

disability category the student fits into

sometimes a student has a disability like dyslexia that is not specifically listed in IDEA

However, the child can still qualify for special education

For example a child with dyslexia may qualify as having a specific learning disability

Or a child with ADHD may qualify under the category of other health impairment

Once the evaluation team has identified if the student has an IDE a

Category disability the other question that the evaluation must answer is does the student need?

Specially designed instruction and related services as a result of the disability

This slide provides the defining characteristics of specially designed instruction

it consists of unique supports for the student and

The purpose of providing SDI is to remove barriers and ensure access to the general education curriculum

Some core vocabulary on this slide is specially designed instruction

SDI

This is a unique set of supports provided to an individual student

Based on his or her learning needs to remove barriers that result from the student's disability

SDI is used to address the unique needs of the child that

results from the child's disability and

to ensure access to the general education curriculum

So that the student can meet the educational standards

Specially designed instruction

Means adapting as appropriate to the needs of the eligible child

the content the methodology or delivery of instruction

SDI may involve any aspect of the student's instruction including materials techniques

assessments and activities

Specially designed instruction or SDI can be adapting or modifying

What is taught how it is taught and the ways in which learning is assessed it?

Can address one or all of these variables?

We have included examples of specially designed instruction on this slide

such as providing visual supports use of a laptop or screen reading software and

providing choices or rate time as

You can see SDI encompasses a wide variety of potential strategies

In addition to specially designed instruction

Related services are also part of special education

the IDE a definition of related services describes them as

developmental

corrective and other supportive services as are required to assist a child with a disability to

benefit from special education

IDE a includes a lengthy list of related services

Examples of related services we see on this slide include

Psychological counseling physical therapy speech therapy occupational therapy and transportation

Supplementary aids and services is another framework for thinking about special education supports and services

Supplementary aids and services means aids

Services and other supports that are provided in general education classes

other educational related settings and in extra curricular and

non-academic settings

To enable children with disabilities to be educated with non-disabled children to the maximum extent appropriate

the purpose of providing

Supplementary aids and services is to support students with disabilities as active participants

with non-disabled peers as

Well as to enable their access to the general education curriculum

At the top right hand of your screen the supplementary aids and services FAQ sheet, which is a supplementary handout that

describes and provides examples

Some core vocabulary on this slide

transportation as

Is is a related service?

Transportation includes travel to and from school and in between schools

travel in and around school buildings and

specialized equipment such as special or adaptive buses lifts and ramps if

required to provide special transportation for a child with a disability

Psychological counseling is a related service that is required to be provided

When a student demonstrates a need for this type of support, it can also be provided to families of the student

You have completed part 1 of this series

We recommend that the viewer watched the parts in order as the information builds from one to the next

Part two focuses on the permission to evaluate form

Let's review the key points to remember from part one

Families have the right to ask that the school conduct an evaluation for special education services per federal and state regulations

In order to be eligible a student must meet

criteria for IDEA category disability and

Be a need for specially designed instruction and related services

Specially designed instruction

Should remove barriers and allow access to general education curriculum it

Can include adapting or modifying any aspect of instruction?

Related services are supportive services that assist a child to benefit from special education

Thank you for joining us for this part of the evaluation and re-evaluation

Presentation series we hope you found them information valuable and informative

The Audio Engineer's Guide To Maintaining Healthy Relationships - Duration: 5:09.

- I don't know how you are,

but I know personally for the longest period of my life,

probably the darkest period of my life,

I would just wait for that text to come in,

"Hey, you wanna come hang out?"

"Hey, we're doing this, you wanna come do this with us?"

Instead of actually being the person

that arranged those things

and when you start building habit and routine into this,

it gets a lot easier to manage these relationships

in a systematics way, and that really does work well

for our types of brains, the systematic,

if-this-then-that type of brain.

So I think there is a good marriage between the two,

and you can do a lot of work

even if you don't have a high emotional intelligence,

so I think this is something that's worth addressing.

- Yeah. I think that's really cool.

I think that there are opportunities for us to use the fact

that we are so logic-minded as audio engineers,

we are so technically-minded as audio engineers,

and that might not be everybody listening.

You might be making a solid living,

or starting to make a solid living,

being the creative in the room,

and not touching any knobs.

If you are,

good for you, that's awesome. - More power to you.

- Way more power to you.

But I think even if you are one of these people

like Brian and I, who see everything

as a logical problem to solve,

that's not necessarily a bad thing

if you apply it correctly,

and when I say that having a good E.Q. is a skill,

that it's a tool that you need to develop.

- Are you talking about the graphical equalizer

or are you talking about the emotional intelligence

with that E.Q.?

- The emotional intelligence

with that E.Q., sorry. - Okay, just clarify.

- So that I'm appealing to that technician inside

of us by calling it a skill.

That we're, "Oh, it's a skill.

Oh, well, I'm gonna be awesome at it."

- Yeah. - That's how ...

- It's more complex than that.

- Yeah, it's more complex than that

but at least if you see it

as something you can get better at ...

So case-in-point, changed my life.

I read a blog post about two years ago

from Tim Ferris - You know,

side note, you don't really hear that term very often.

You don't really hear that many people say,

"That blog post changed my life"

but I'm glad you - Yeah.

- just said it.

Well, it was from Tim Ferris.

So - That is true, okay.

His blog posts are basically little books.

- Yeah, they're both basically little books.

He pointed out that falling asleep is a skill.

And I, up until about two years ago,

was absolutely horrendous at it.

I would typically lay in bed for an hour or two each night,

trying to calm my mind down.

A nap was out of the question because ...

- I'm not gonna lie, I am amazing at that skill.

I just turn over and fall asleep almost at a whim.

- I am getting there, I'm okay at it

but it wasn't until I saw it as a skill

and engaged my nerdy technician.

"I must assimilate this skill to my body" like weirdness.

So I think this is a healthy conversation to appeal to us

as engineers, that's what we are,

that this is a skill that we can possess.

- Yeah, you could take a little

left-minded approach to a right-minded ...

- Yeah. - I can take a, hold on,

you could take left-brain approach to a right-brained issue.

I would say the emotional intelligence side

is more of a right-brained creative-type

ethereal-thinking type thing, - Yeah.

- something that I really struggled to even grasp on

and understand but there are systems and processes

and structured approaches to improving that skill

of that very airy thing that's hard to grasp sometimes.

- Here's an actual tactical piece of advice for that.

If you are lucky enough to have found someone you love

and you are struggling to balance your career

with your relationship with them,

you guys should sit down

and you should talk about boundaries.

You should get a piece of paper out

and you should write down rules, mutual rules,

not her or him telling you what to do

but you, as a couple, deciding what it is,

what are the boundaries that you should respect.

So one of those might be

if you have to mix late, you will mix on headphones

after 11PM or something like that.

That you'll structure your day in a way, where you're like,

"Well, I'll do the type of work

that I can do with headphones later at night

so that I'm not, like, subwoofer

(beatboxes) (laughs)

you know, at three AM" - Yeah.

- when your wife has to go into her job the next day

or something like that.

So I think that having that conversation

with a piece of paper, it shouldn't be, like, a paragraph,

it should be bullet points, in my opinion,

really simple, really easy.

One, no mixing after x, y, z.

Two, no reading blog posts and debating people

on gearsluts.com about meaningless junk

while watching a movie with one's significant other.

- Stay fully present. - There's all these ...

Yeah, there are all these things that you can do

where you can 80/20 and say,

Well, what ...

What causes 80 percent of our problems

that's related to my career?

Can we come up with boundaries

and a list of rules that helps me know

it's not appropriate to be watching,

I don't know, some romantic movie with your spouse at night

while also arguing about which manufacturer

has the best microphones on Gearslutz

or something like that?

(soft electronic music)

Gun Maintenance & Gun Customisation - Red Dead Redemption 2 - Gun Guide - Duration: 3:05.

Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Andrew and welcome to a gun guide for Red Dead Redemption 2. In this guide

I'm gonna be showing you how to maintain your guns condition and where to find the option to customise your gun

Now if we hold L1 to bring up the weapon wheel, you're gonna notice that there's quite a few stats on your gun,

And these are pretty self-explanatory, you'll notice that portions of the bars will be filled in white, this indicates the weapons

effectiveness, when a guns condition degrades

It becomes more difficult to use, this means that it will reduce the damage

It will increase the load times and it will decrease the fire rate

How often you use the gun and the environments that you use the gun in, will affect the guns condition

so using it in water or using it in mud will probably

Decrease its condition quicker and the stat we're looking for is the condition stat at the very bottom now

I've just selected the carbine repeater here and you can see that it's actually very low, so in order to fix this all you have

To do is go to your local gunsmith and select the customise option

Here you're gonna see a list of all the guns you own and the guns that you've got equipped are marked with the holster

Icon. In this section here, you can actually customise the performance of your guns as well as their appearance

Also note that when you're highlighting your secondary

Sidearms, you can just switch them by pressing left or right on the d-pad

Now if you select a gun, in this case

We'll select the carbine repeater because it's the one that has the lowest condition. You'll have a "clean weapon option"

You actually can't customise your gun until it's clean. Apparently the gunsmiths have standards. Now

The customisation is pretty easy to figure out from here. So I'm not really gonna explain it all that much

So once you clean the weapon, that's it

You should notice now that the condition of the weapon is a lot higher

It's at its maximum and some of the stats are just a tiny bit increased

Now you can also maintain your gun while exploring

Firstly you're going to make sure that you have gun oil, you can actually purchase some of this from the gunsmith or you can loot

It while you're doing whatever the hell you're doing while exploring just come over here into this guy's backyard. He's a gunsmith

He shouldn't mind now if we hold the weapon wheel and go to one of our weapons with them highlighted

We're going to press R3

And this will actually allow you to examine your weapon in close detail or clean it

It's pretty cool because you can actually turn your gun around you can even get a better look at it

It's a nifty little feature to play with if you just want to I don't know if you want to

Look at the better details of your gun. Now what we're going to do is we're going to press square to clean it and

You can hold square. So it speeds up the process as well and

That will automatically use any gun oil that you have in your inventory

There we go. Squeaky clean. That's it. That's all you need to know about maintaining your gun and where to find

Customisation if you enjoyed the video, let me know in the comments down below

Really appreciate it. Don't forget to subscribe and visit the channel for more videos

I'd like to thank you guys for watching and as usual ladies and gentlemen, I will see you in the next video
