The Alamo Mission in San Antonio was established in the 18th century as a Roman Catholic mission and fortress compound.
This was the site of the Battle of the Alamo in 1836, a climactic event in Texas Revolution.
Within the compound, these storytellers relive the historical event in the Alamo.
The San Antonio River Walk is a city park and chain of passageways along the banks of the San Antonio River.
The Shops at Rivercenter is a shopping mall along the River Walk.
The Tower of the Americas is a 750-foot (230-meter) observation tower-restaurant and tallest structure in San Antonio.

The Texas State Capitol is the statehouse building and seat of governance in Texas.

Kayaking in Lady Bird Lake, a river-like reservoir with a surface area of 416 acres.
The lake was named as such in honor of former First Lady of US, Lady Bird Johnson.
