As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service in the world, RWN offers the following

information published by The Daily Caller

Democratic Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke's senate campaign was flagged by the Federal

Election Commission (FEC) on Sunday for accepting "excessive" and "impermissible" donations.

The FEC notified O'Rourke that a preliminary review of his campaign's July quarterly

report showed contributions from one or more individuals with addresses outside of the

United States.

Donations were also made that "exceed the limit" determined by the federal government.

O'Rourke has 45 days to respond.

The warning from the FEC came on the same evening that O'Rourke was scheduled to debate

Sen. Ted Cruz at the University of Houston.

The El Paso congressman declined Cruz's invitation to the debate, instead live streaming

his repeated attempts at making a campaign ad.

O'Rourke notably avoided committing to any debates against Cruz for weeks during the

summer, and even bowed out of the first tentatively scheduled debate saying he was unhappy that

he didn't get a big enough say in the terms.

Cruz and O'Rourke are in a competitive race for the Texas Senate seat.

Cruz leads O'Rourke by nine points according to independent Quinnipiac University poll

released in September.

O'Rourke's campaign did not immediately respond to The Daily Caller News Foundation's

request for comment.

Meanwhile, Ted Cruz is moving full steam ahead with his campaign, winning over voter left

and right.

What happens when a disrespectful Democratic Representative shames the American flag and

the national anthem?

A video by Ted Cruz answering the calls of patriotic Texans is just the answer you're

looking for.

It was none other than Robert (Beto) O'Rourke who claimed that taking a knee during the

national anthem is one of the most "American" things that someone can do in form of a peaceful

protest.

As much as people are allowed to protest, it's certainly not very American-like to

disrespect the flag of our nation or the people who fought to keep it standing.

Ted Cruz had one simple response.

A nicely tuned video ad blasting back and making an unapologetic announcement.

This is the type of video that could make everyone think twice about kneeling during

the national anthem.

It's a disgrace when people take a knee and many people are tired of seeing it.

Ted Cruz's video already has over 54,000 views and states "Why do I stand?

I stand for the veterans like Tim Lee who lost both his legs fighting in South Vietnam.

"Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas released a campaign ad Monday in response to his opponent's

claim that there is "nothing more American" than protesting the national anthem.

A constituent asked Senate hopeful and Democratic Rep. Robert O'Rourke of Texas earlier in

August if he felt that NFL players kneeling for the national anthem was disrespectful

to the country and America's veterans.

In a now-viral interaction, O'Rourke disagreed and commended the demonstration.

"My short answer is: No, I don't think it's disrespectful," O'Rourke said.

"And I can think of nothing more American than to peacefully stand up or take a knee

for your rights, anytime, anywhere, anyplace."

Cruz fired back on behalf of those veterans who lost the ability to stand themselves while

fighting for the country.

"Whoever believed that we would have issues about whether you're going to stand during

the national anthem or not?"

Marine Corps Sgt.

Tim Lee asked during the ad.

Lee, a retired combat veteran, stepped on a landmine while fighting in Vietnam and consequently

lost both of his legs.

"I gave two legs for this country," Lee continued.

"I'm not able to stand, but I sure expect you to stand for me when that national anthem

is being played."

An article by USA Today states that Beto and Ted are in a statistical tie.

That's bizarre considering they're in Texas.

You might think people in Texas are all about standing for the national anthem, but I guess

there's a big group of Democrats who support Beto, which sounds like a very poor decision

in my opinion.

Do you know what's behind rising property taxes in Texas? - Duration: 3:15.

Hello. My name is Raymie Kana, Colorado County Auditor.

[numerous county officials introducing themselves]

Hello. My name is Renee Couch, Comal County Treasurer.

Imagine that you're out to dinner with your friend

but he forgot his wallet,

and asks you to pay…

And then he orders the most expensive thing on the menu, too.

Imagine he does this every time you go out to eat.

Imagine he asks you to pay for his groceries, too.

That would be ridiculous, would it?

It's crazy!

But it happens all the time at the Texas Capitol.

Legislators are always telling us they didn't raise our taxes.

But is that really true?

It's no secret that the Legislature has relied on property taxpayers to pay for more and more over the years,

But it's not just the responsibility for funding schools that has been pushed down to local property owners.

It's part of a broader pattern.

Legislators are using your property taxes like a no-limit credit card.

When state legislators in Austin require counties to deliver a new program or service

but the state doesn't have the funding to pay for it

It's local taxpayers like YOU and ME who get stuck with the bill.

When it happens, it's called an unfunded mandate

It's basically a state property tax.

It hurts Texas counties and local property taxpayers

just as much as any other state tax hike.

When times are lean, it can make sense for state lawmakers to tighten up the budget,

But, if they're just pushing the costs down to local communities,

are they really doing taxpayers any favors?

Not for the taxpayers of Colorado County.

Not for the taxpayers of Bexar County.

Not in my county.

And not the taxpayers of Oldham County either.

You see, Texas is a big state.

We have 254 counties!

There are hundreds of communities, all with unique needs, and unique solutions.

That's why we elect local county officials to make local decisions.

That's why I'm proud to serve Comal County.

Leon County

Travis County

Denton County

Smith County

Bandera County

I am proud to serve the people of Williamson County.

Unfunded mandates are an inflexible, one-size-fits-all approach

Unfunded mandates grow the size and cost of government.

And unfunded mandates aren't really unfunded,

because property taxpayers always get stuck with the bill in the form of higher property taxes.

Texans want more accountability from their government.

Texans deserve real property taxpayer protection.

Texans deserve relief from unfunded mandates.

Ask your state legislators to do the right thing.

Do the right thing.

Do the right thing.

Say no.

Say no.

Say no.

Say no!

Say NO to unfunded mandates!

After LeBron Wears Beto Hat In San Antonio – Spurs Deliver Texas Justice - Duration: 2:01.

One wonders why wealthy athletes can't just stick to their sport and stay out of politics

these days.

LeBron James has multiple times waded into the political arena against President Trump

and others and it never ends well for him.

He simply winds up alienating fans and looking foolish.

This time, LeBron decided to wear a Beto O'Rourke hat in San Antonio.

The Spurs delivered justice Texas-style and beat the Los Angeles Lakers handily.

LeBron and his team lost to the Spurs just like Beto will lose to Ted Cruz for that Senate

seat.

Townhall.com reports:

National basketball superstar Lebron James has waded back into politics yet again as

he was spotted wearing a hat in support of Beto O'Rourke for Senate against incumbent

Sen. Ted Cruz (TX-R) prior to a game against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.

James has shown support for Beto in the past.

Over the summer, a video went viral of the liberal politician spouting his approval of

NFL players who take a knee.

James retweeted this video, saying, "A Must Watch!!!

Salute @BetoORourke for the candid thoughtful words!"

President Donald Trump and Lebron James have butted heads in the past regarding politics.

Lebron James said in a CNN interview with Don Lemon "that he would not be willing

to sit down with President Trump.

Lemon asked him, "What would you say to the president if he were sitting right here?"

James responded, "I would never sit across from him."

Following that interview, President Trump that Lebron James somehow managed to make

Lemon look smart.

The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the San Antonio Spurs last night 110-106 and have fallen to

2-4 on the season.
